Suncoast Irrigation Systems

Description of Work: Had a guy come in and grind out some stumps. Didn't find out until the sprinklers went on later in the week that two of my irrigation lines had been broken. Called Roger and he came right out and fixed the broken lines, cleaned out heads, and tuned the system.

Description of Work: Rodger from Suncoast Irrigation Systems came out on September 4th,2014. He advised I read the deal incorrectly and told me that Angie's List gets all the money paid for a Big Deal (Daniel G eased my mind and explained that you only hold it until the job is completed) Roger also charged me $100 for a 5 minute service of the sprinklers (separate from what the Big Deal was purchased for) that I did not think was necessary. I called back a few days later and he quoted me $1000 for the job, which I thought was way too much. He mentioned I would only receive a $100 credit, when the Big deal was to pay $100 for a $450 credit. I ended up hiring someone else for the job.

Description of Work: We do fully intend on using Suncoast in the near future. They are very knowledgeable and I knew exactly how much work they were going to do for that bargain price. These guys are A1. Looking forward to having a happy lawn again.

Description of Work: They responded to my first telephone the very next business day and promised to show up around 8:AM on the agreed day, which they did. They added 2 new sprinkler zones to my existing system to cover my back yard. The existing system already had 2 zones covering the front yard. Both use potable water. |There was a slight delay when they had to wait for an existing user to return to the renter a ditch-making machine that they wanted to use. They nevertheless managed to complete the job almost as quickly as first estimated, well within 1 day. |In the future, I may have them draw some water from an existing but long unused well so that I can have it tested for suitability for use in the sprinkler system (e.g. no excessive iron content). If it is suitable, I will have them check out and if necessary repair an existing but long unused pump. If all that works out, I will have them switch the entire system to well water. I would expect the savings in potable water would pay for the extra work in a couple of years or so.

Description of Work: Checked sprinkler box and wiring to determine if they had been damaged by the lightning strike. We decided since the wires were fried in the long run it would be better to install a new system. The old system was not very efficient when it was working. We walked my property to decide what time of heads we would use and where they would be installed. Roger spent well over an hour explaining what would be done and how long it would take. I was very satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: Very responsive, very professional. Roger and Pablo quickly diagnosed a problem with sprinklers and settings at my house. Best phone call I made last week was calling Suncoast Irrigation Systems.

Description of Work: The monies were refunded by the service provider as he did not provide services in my area. He was very nice about the whole situation. I really wish he did work in my area as I would have welcomed the opportunity to work with him.

Description of Work: Roger called me the day I purchased this offer to let me know that they did not service Hillsborough County. He was very polite and extremely apologetic. I am sorry I wa snot able to use his service.

Description of Work: Inspected the irrigation system

Description of Work: He is located about 15 miles away and says he doesn't get to my area very often. He called one morning at the very last minute (8am) to see if he could come over then but there wasn't anyone available because of work. He then said he'd contact us next time he would be in the area. We want to get our sprinklers taken care of immediately as our lawn looks beautiful and we want to keep it that way.
