.they were here @ 8:00 am as appt set and in 2 and 1/2 hour later they were done. very pleasent and explained every thing very well that I asked. I was so impressed with both workers ( Bill the elect. and Nick the ac man that I took out the service maintenance. Very friendly and in and out with job very well done. If looking for new ac company you need to call and use WENZELS they are the B E S T. Thank you so very much for a nice cool home again.

Check units, change filters for one of two services per year. Efficient, organized, service technician knew what he was doing.

The first technician who came out was extremely nice. He answered all my questions, and my services were actually all covered by the $39 Cooling Inspection & Tune-Up Inspection I purchased from Angie's List! The second technician was also wonderful. My AC went out yet again two weeks after my first service, but this time it was the condenser. The second coupon I purchased from Angie's list for $80 for Two Preventative HVAC Tune Ups and Maintenance Service Agreement did not cover this visit, so I paid full price for the part and labor. It was still only $150, which is fairly reasonable, and the service was excellent. This company also answers their own calls in the morning--no answering machines or automated responses. Both times I called, I called rather early, expecting to get a machine. Both times, a "real person" answered my call and spoke to me.

We noticed that the air coming out of our vent was not cool and running way too much so we looked on angies list and chose Wentzels. Being a holiday we expected no one to be working but to leave a message but suddenly someone answered and we told them we realized it was a holiday and would the charge be different to come out and he said no. He had two other people and then would come out. He showed up in about an hour and a half. Come to find out the air conditioner and the heater were both on at the same time. He turned the heater off and the house immediately started cooling. Had to get a part to fix the heater but had us running on a holiday. We were surprised. He showed up the next day and changed out the part but we then realized that the unit was constantly running. Had to return again and it was fixed. Unit has never cooled so well. Then about two weeks later the other unit stopped working. We called them again. They came out and fixed it and all is good now. We told them that we were angielist people and they gave us a discount that more then paid for the fee of angielist and we could not have been any happier. Four trips out and the total bill with parts and all was less then 600 dollars. We will always call this company. Thanks

It went great! Bill and his assistant arrived right on time and 20 minutes later the job was done right. They were courteous and professional. I also want to note that when I called to make the appointment the woman I spoke with was very friendly and was able to schedule the appointment for the next day at my convenience. I will definitely use this company in the future.

He was professional and very informative with regard for my 2006 Trane HVAC system. I will be calling soon to get on the maintenance plan with this provider.

Very thorough job by knowledgeable technicians. I will call on them again. They are not the cheapest HVAC business in town but you get what you pay for! I tried them for preventative maintenance on my 2 AC units with a discount special through Angie's List and am happy to have discovered them. Thank you!

Their price was at least 900.00 cheaper that other estimates however there were quite a number of bumps in the road. The estimate was accepted and crews came the next day however, there were parts missing and the original worker who installed the units, although worked hard in alot of heat did not do a complete job. Caulking was broken where pipes went through the roof causing water to run down the pipe into the attic during a rain. The crew should have checked that prior to leaving the job. They also did not seem to know alot about gas furnaces as Florida homeowners rarely have them. Saying that, the other issues were resolved quickly and efficently. The price difference was worth the inconvience of having Jason, their "finishing guy", over to fix minor things that the original crew had missed.

I just purchased a rental property and needed to determine what condition the air conditioner was in. After researching Angie's List I purchased a $39.00 AC maintenance coupon for WENTZEL'S. Soon after purchasing the coupon I received a telephone call from Wentzel's to schedule an appointment. The secretary was very nice and thanked me for my business...I was given the appointment date and time of my choosing. Nick (ie. the technician) arrived right on time and was very friendly and professional. He took the time to fully answer all of my questions and provided me with many helpful ideas regarding the HVAC maintenance. Nick also told me that the employee's at Wentzel's are paid by the hour and not on commission so they have no incentive to push unnecessary services on customers. The end result was that my air conditioner was fine. Since he was there I asked him to replace the thermostat, which did not seem to work properly. I was so impressed with this company I even purchased a maintenance contract with them. I highly recommend this company.

When the serviceman came out for the first inspection, he immediately noticed that the main motor had burned out. Since there was no real checkup that could be done with my entire until suddenly broken (he didn't break it--I heard it go kaput the night before), he stopped the service call and went back to the shop to get the information on pricing for a new unit, which is the option I decided to go with since my old builder's quality Lennox unit has had 4 repairs (3 before and now this) in 2 years. Fixing that old unit again seemed absurd. I ended up not going with this company for the new unit, but that's largely because I got a slightly better offer from a different local company (Angie's list member, of course) and the other company was a factory-authorized TRANE dealer/repair shop. It was a half-dozen of one, 6 of the other coin flip. When I later contacted Cindy at Wentzel's to ask what we could do about the two tuneups that were never performed, she offered to refund the price of the Big Deal minus the transaction fee from Angie's List. This mean I got back about $70 of my original $80, which seemed fair. This wasn't a bad experience at all with this company but the one strange thing that happened was the serviceman actually took the burned-out motor with him on the initial visit. I didn't think a thing about it at the time, but when the half-dozen competitors came by to offer their estimates, many of them wanted to see what had gone wrong with the initial unit. I couldn't do that with the main motor MIA.

Great service. The why's of everything they were doing was explained when Billy came to give estimate. He was professional and easy going at the same time. Will use them again as I signed a maintenance agreement for A/C with them.

The gentleman knew exactly what was wrong & the problem was easily fixed. I called at 8:30 & there were here within an hour which was great. I'd bought the system from them in November so they didn't charge me anything for the visit even though this didn't technically fall in the 2-yr maintenance warranty that came with the installation.

We recently bought an older home, and the HVAC system was in questionable condition. We contacted Wentzel's to perform the Angie's List member HVAC inspection offered on this website. Cindy answered our call, and was very accommodating to our scheduling limitations. Shaun was our service technician. He arrived on time (early, in fact and was very polite and professional. He performed the inspection, and the necessary cleaning and adjustments in a skilled and thorough manner. He was very knowledgeable and answered our questions clearly, alleviating any concerns we had. When we have the house completed to the point of move-in ready, we intend to call Wentzel's for a maintenance agreement, and hope Shaun will be assigned to our account. Many thanks to Shaun. He exceeded our expectations!

They built an intake box under the air handler. Also,they were to pull the coils completely out of the unit and clean them while the air handler was removed to the driveway. They never took the coils out and gave them a complete cleaning they only sprayed them with an antimicrobial agent. I was not happy with this service and would not use them again. .

I was very pleased. They were quick and did it for a good price. I had a problem later on and they came right out and fixed it. I would definitely use them again if it was possible, due to location.

They were here when they said they would be and they were very professional. They were interested in making me happy and making sure everything was working and going well. It was excellent. They are always on time, they even show up early and they will always return my calls. They are incredibly polite, courteous and professional. A lot of companies could learn from them. They clean up after themselves and they even put booties on when they come in the house. We’ve done a lot of projects recently and these guys just stand out from some of the others we’ve used.

I just bought a house that needed the entire air conditioning system replaced and I have heard a lot of negative feedback about the local AC companies. A friend recommended Wentzels and even though they were almost 2 hours away, they were willing to give a free estimate on the new system. The quote was very reasonable and, since they came highly recommended, I agreed to have them install the new unit. The owner recommended the higher efficiency unit to cut down on monthly expenses and I am very satisfied so far. They finished the job in one day and left no mess behind or dirty fingerprints either. No complaints!

Woke up on a Saturday with no AC. Wentzel was the only company I called that actually answered their phone. The service rep stated approximately when he would be able to come, which was several hours before any of the other companies. He showed up within the anticipated time and had the a/c fixed within 1 hour. He was very professional and I felt the price was extremely reasonable. I plan to change to Wentzel for my regular service!
