From the initial call, response time of the service person, to the analysis of the problem it was outstanding. Shane was able to diagnose the problem quickly and provide an estimate of the cost to replace the AC unit at the same time without calling out an additional person. The estimate was very competitive and consistent with three additional callouts and estimates. With the 24/7 service offered I would not hesitate to recommend this Company.

Nick arrived on time and was very professional. He explained the options available and proceeded to install the UV lamp inside our unit. Nick also cleaned up the interior of the unit, shortened some wires and checked things over. He was very thorough and friendly, explaining everything he was going to do. We are switching over to Wentzel's for our twice yearly maintenance service. The Wentzel's office staff are very helpful and efficient.

I found Wentzel and I appreciated that they helped us save money and were honest with us about our A/C unit. They will be coming and doing service for us routinely.

The sales man Billy Martin came out and listened to what I had to say then he gave us 3 options on different units. We went with a 16 Sear unit with a two stage pump. The crew that came out was very professional and friendly. It took about three hours to install the unit and clean up. They did a great job and I highly recommend them. I can't wait to see how much my electric bill goes down.

They were prompt and courteous and at least $700 less than the other bid I received

Technician could not have been nicer. He explained what he was doing and give us maintenance tops on our A/C unit. I can't say enough nice things about him (I think his name was Tim)

I hired Wentzel to replace my A/C because they had a good rating but they also turned out to be the best price for the job and equipment they installed. It was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. The Vent crew was here early (7:30 AM). They went right to work cleaning my system and was done by noon. They were neat and efficient. They layed down cloths under each vent as they removed and cleaned them. The Installation crew arrived at 9:00 AM. They cleared a path under the hanging A/C and one person proceded to dismantle it while the other went outside to remove the old condensor and install the new one. The condensor installation was finisshed by noon and that installer came in to help with tne hanging unit. They worked together till 6:00 PM and totally cleaned up.

Through and through, Wentzel's is one of the best service companies that I have dealt with as a home owner. When we received an initial quote for the job, we weren't pressured at all and the representative was very upfront and honest. We received 4 quotes from different providers. Incidentally, Wentzel's came in significantly lower for the exact same system that the others were quoting. The install guys (Steve and Phillip) arrived exactly when they said they would on the day of the install and stayed much later than necessary just to ensure we were pleased with the job. They spent extra time re-configuring our duct work at no additional charge and even came back a week later to do some additional work for us - again, free of charge. Both guys were extremely professional, courteous, personable and listened closely to our concerns. From our initial contact with their office through to their post follow-up visit to ensure our system was running up to par, our experience with this top notch company was excellent. Requested individual come out to provide estimate. Had a bit of difficulty getting a response. In the meantime, I found another provider who did the job for 1/2 the price. I've heard wonderful things about this company but I cannot say one way or the other -- just that their response time was very very slow.

It went very well. They had to completely dismantle a pretty new unit that was installed incorrectly from another company. This meant pulling out the entire air handler, draining it completely (it was FULL of water), reinsulate the cabinet, rework the set-up (hanging it from the rafters like it was supposed to be done but wasn't when it was incorrectly installed).

On-time, professional and explained everything that was done including the diagnostics.

Nick arrived promptly and listened to us explain our problem. He troubleshot the lines and ultimately found the problem which was in the compressor line into the house. Fixed the problem and proceeded to completely service the handler by changing filter annd oiling parts and draining out sediment. He never tried to sell us any new equipment as so many other companies do. Nick was totally professional and personable. We will definitely recommend this company and purchase their yearly service package. We feel that our AC is in good hands and will be functional through even the worst summer heat and humidity.

During a storm, a neighbor's tree came down on my daughter's residence in Sarasota (I live in Oregon), taking out all of the electricity to the house. The power could not be connected until the wiring that was destroyed at the house itself was repaired by a licensed electrician. My daughter called five or six different providers, three of which were on Angie's list. Of those three, two never returned the call and the 3rd gave an estimate of between $800 and $1000 to do the work that needed to be done, which was far more than could be afforded. The representative from Wentzel Electric returned call immediately and was out the next day. He showed them all of the reconstruction work that they could do themselves, and if they could do that, he would charge approximately $400 , including the $80 permit fee. After the construction work was completed, Wentzel Electric was called, they got the permit and were at the house to attach the fuse box and wiring, which was approved. It didn't take him a lot of time to complete the actual work, but it was the fact that the company worked with them and the budget, guiding them as to what they could do to reduce the cost. That is really CARING about your customer!

I was sitting in a hot house for a week searching for someone who would finance my small purchase. Though only 2k, I needed financing and I got a personal call from the Owner of Wentzels approving payments for me. Wentzels Air Conditioning was the only one who came through in my time of dire need. The service was done quickly and efficiently. My house is much cooler thanks to them. I will be switching from my old A/C company for my services as well because of the great treatment. This is a family owed business that takes pride in their ownership with family ideals and service. These people come highly recommended above all.

have clay tiles under my house and was full of roots and had shifted so some was closed off. They had to jet clean them out and then had to line them with a fiberglass linner that will lat 100 years. So of the tiles were cracked and some had holes in them this was cheaper than digging up all my floors and laying new tiles. They had a camera on the end of their line when they were doing the clean-out and they showed me all the pic and explained every thing they were doing. Had a problem within a couple of days after the job was done came right out when I call and fixed it that day at no charge. Very happy with them and will use them again if I need it. I check your list before I called them and the came out on a Sunday for NO OVER TIME charge which I think was great. They were here when they said they would be and cleaned up after they were done. Air handler speed controller failed, local trane dealer wanted @ $1500.00 to replace and had to order parts. Wentzel's charge was approx $500 and they had the parts in stock. We have had them do work for us before, and they have always responded in a timely manner and the best pricing !

It went terrific. Everyone with the company was great and very responsive. Great customer service, Really impressed overal and affordability wise. Would honor other deals that other companies offered. Very accomadating. I will definitely use again.

Their work was okay. They typically work in the building so they are familiar with it. They have done work for me on a couple of occasions with mixed results. Sometimes they are okay and sometimes they really screw up. Their pricing is adequate.

They did a great job. They were very pleasant, very professional and very knowledgeable. Their price was good but we really didn't go for that. We were really interested in somebody that knew what they were doing and that had a lot of insight and knowledge in dealing with the heating and air conditioning unit in Florida because we had never lived there before. They were super nice and said to call them anytime. We would definitely use them again.

It was excellent. They have done several projects for me. They really got me out of a jam and helped me out a lot. I got burned by another provider and they took care of the problem.

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate on duct repair for a Monday at 12-12:30. No show. Called them and they couldn't tell me what was happening. Said they'd call right back. I called again 15 minutes later and still no one knew what was happening other than they were busy. Asked if they could come within the hour. That wasn't convenient so we scheduled for 1:00 the next day. No show again. At 4:20 I called to find out what was going on. Again the phone answerer didn't know but would have Mr Wentzel call back which he did shortly thereafter. He said they were still scheduled to come out that day. It was too late for us at that point. I mentioned that no one had called to tell us they were late. That didn't seem to have any affect. He then said that it was too hot to go up in attic so could come at 7 or 8 some morning. That doesn't work at all for us, particularly since other AC companies have and will come out during the day. I told Wentzel this and he didn't seem to care. I guess he has enough work and doesn't need anymore. I would never use a company that treat potential clients this way.
