These people were responsive and competent. Also affordable. Again, the can we trust these people, are they being fair in dealing with me? Questions that always plague homeowners when engaging someone to do work---were questions positively answered. The issue was to replace with a new motor or repair. One is instinctively concerned that the answer will always be replace because there is more money in it. How do you know if the motor needs replacing or not? All you know is that it doesn't work and you can't get out of the front door of your house, so this is something that needs to be taken care of immediately. The repairman came, examined the situation, and told me that the motor needed to be replaced. They did not have one with them, could do it in 2 days. They called me and re-scheduled saying they needed an additional day. When they came this morning it was quickly installed--they re-built my existing motor! The repairman said, we discovered we could do this to your satisfaction without putting in a new, more expensive motor. We thought you would like the money saved. If at any time, you feel that the re-built motor is not satisfactory, we will return and install a new motor. What a great approach!
