Description of Work: They did weekly cleanings until we moved out and then did monthly cleans. The staff members were very nice and I was completely comfortable having them in our home. Very thorough: house always smelled great and they didn't miss anything.

Description of Work: Cleaned whole house,4300 sq ft. They are professional and hard working. Some teams are better than others with attention to details and thouroughness. All are adequate. It's better when one team always does my house, as the are familiar. Reliable and honest. Only downside is that they always do the same tasks, you cannot easily redirect to alternate tasks. Best for regular maintenance .

Description of Work: I started this service on an every two week basis. I live alone and have changed it to every 3 weeks. Very professional. 4 people show up and they are always finished within an hour. I have been very pleased with their service. They have been cleaning my house for over a year.

Description of Work: When I first started with them they came every 2 weeks for $150. 4 ladies show up and clean the entire house in just under an hour. They are so good that I have reduced the frequency to every three weeks. I do not even have to be there. They show up, get the job done and leave. They are always courteous and professional.

Description of Work: This was a first visit for housecleaning. Three women arrived on time & were then joined by a manager who went through the house to determine how long it would take & what additional services I might need. I originally pre-paid for 6 hours of housecleaning, but based on the size of our home, the fact that it had some areas in much need of cleaning, as well as wooden slat blinds that needed cleaning, it took several hours longer than originally ordered. A written estimate was given to me for the additional work, which I approved. As it turned out, it took even a little longer than predicted. | |On the whole, the cleaners did a very good job, although I did find a few minor things that were missed or not put away. Considering the size of the job & the amount of work they did, that did not detract from the overall excellent job they did. They cleaned places I had neglected for too long & the house really sparkled when they were finished. While I hadn't anticipated spending so much for housecleaning, in this case, it was worth it & I plan to have them come on a regular basis. I would highly recommend The Maids.

 + -1 moreI wasn't fully pleased. Many of their people didn't speak English so that it was difficult to communicate. Ex. Residue from tape on a kitchen cabinet. I handed her Googone to clean it off and she ignored me and it. I also had lamp shades that needed dusting and they were ignored also. Too much money for too little communication and good service.

 + 1 moreExcellent. I have used this company many times before. They do outstanding work. Only drawback is the price - a little on the high side. I have them clean my whole condo before I leave for the summer and periodically while I'm in residence during the winter.

Description of Work: Four ladies arrived and cleaned our house from top to bottom. Vacuuming, dusting, washing, and polishing the floors, cleaned and shone counter tops, completely cleaned three bathrooms and the entire kitchen including the cook top and the cupboard doors. All floor corners were cleaned as were the baseboards. One of the ladies noticed finger prints on the lanai sliding window and cleaned that too - on both sides. The ladies never stopped working and were perfectionists. Could not have been happier with the service.

 + -1 moreA supervisor came with the crew of four the first time and made sure that everying was going well. She returned to inspect the place with me and receive payment. The second time the supervisor was part of the crew and stayed the whole time. The maids handle cleaning like a military operation, and I mean--like a military assault! They all have jobs to do and give their supervisor an estimate of how long each job will take. The supervisor then comes up with an estimate of the total time need to do the job and provides an approximate price to you. Then the assault begins: They clean top to bottom, doing higher surfaces first. One lady is the vacuum lady and roams, working on vacuuming blinds and baseboards. The rest stick to the area of the condo assigned and clean it top to bottom. They are very efficient and fast. The lady who cleaned the kitchen used a lot of elbow grease. It was exhausting just watching her. she really earned her money. I would suggest supplying these short ladies a ladder because otherwise they have to stand on the countertops to reach the area above the cabinets. One lady stood on her substantial cleaning bucket, but they really could have used a ladder. They brought extensive cleaning supplies, vacuums, mops, cloth rags, paper toweling, etc. Except for the need for a ladder, they were very well equipped. I was very impressed by the energy and dedication of these hard-working people.
Description of Work: I have hired The Maids Home Services in Sarasota, Florida twice, once in June of 2008 and once in July of 2009. The first time was to clean up after extensive remodeling had been done. (The place was covered with fine white dust!) The second time was after a tenant had moved out of the condominium unit. The work performed included mopping the tile floor, vacuuming the rug, wall washing, kitchen and bathroom counter washing, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom sinks, cleaning the stove and oven, cleaning the kitchen hood, cleaning the refrigerator, vacuuming the blinds, dusting the ceiling fans, cleaning the bathtub and shower enclosure, and cleaning the window sills. (Window washing, according to this company's advertisement, is an extra charge deal, neogotiated separately.)
