Called before they arrived, work was done promptly and well-done; they checked to make sure air was working after line was repaired. Price was fair, and they went out of their way to get to me that day. I have them giving quote on additional work and will use again.
Description of Work: Drilling into drywall, I drilled into a 240V line running our air conditioning. Called on Monday, 8/1 - Mike, the owner got on phone and I explained what happened. I was trying to find someone that could repair the line that day. He had two guys both scheduled on jobs, but told me he would shift things around and get one of them out to my house that afternoon.

I called and was treated with courtesy. The owner got on the phone with me to find out exactly what we needed. I told Powerworks we were in a bit of a hurry to get the job done in order to pass an inspection. He promptly sent someone that afternoon who was able to perform and finish the job! The technician was friendly, explained everything and got right to work. Powerworks was wonderful!

I sent a message via Angie's List to PowerWorks Electric & Air Conditioning and a larger company. Rhonda from PowerWorks Electric & Air Conditioning responded immediately. She answered my questions and we set up a date for repair. The other company responded to me days later saying they couldn't set up an appointment via Angie's List and that I had to call them. Dave, PowerWorks Electric & Air Conditioning, checked the problem with the lamp post light starting with the easier solutions first. It resulted in being the worst case scenario, the underground wire had to be replaced. Dave dug up about 30' of our yard to replace the line. He also put in a cell so the lamp post light turns on/off with dark and light. Dave was professional, very friendly, and knowledgeable. We asked him about other work we want done in the house and he was more than happy to explain things to us. From scheduling to completion, I spoke with Rhonda, Mike and Dave. All very friendly and easy to communicate with. We have finally found our electrical company. We will work with PowerWorks Electric & Air Conditioning and Dave to get our other electrical changes/additions done.

They did a great job. They were honest. I felt like I was getting the real story from Powerworks Electric & Air Conditioning. This will be my company going forward for my A/C and everything electric. I am confident in their advice and their company.
Description of Work: I had a service contract with another company already. Last year they did a bunch of stuff but they never came back out for a year. My air went out and they sent someone out. They didn't do any work, but the guy tried to scare me into buying a new one. I wanted a second opinion before I bought a new one. I called Powerworks Electric & Air Conditioning and they told me it was a capacitor. They replaced the capacitor and it worked.
