Carlos did an amazing job! He showed up on time every time. He explained all our options thoroughly. He finished the work quickly. He cleaned up after himself. He went the extra mile in finding the perfect chain for our chandelier. He was able to hang the delicate glass chandelier on his own without causing any damage. We were very impressed! Carlos even did a few extras for us, which I expected would increase the bill, but he honored the original estimate anyway. We are so grateful to have found a company we can trust!

Carlos was the technician. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, told me what it would cost and fixed the fan. He was very courteous and efficient.

I was able to get on their schedule within a week of calling. Carlos arrived on time, quickly understood the job, gave me a fair but not cheap price, and got right to work. He was obviously knowledgeable and professional, as well as very pleasant. Everything went very smoothly, and the job was finished promptly. Carlos identified the problem and clearly explained it to me. A work around was provided until the outdoor fixture could be replaced and the electrical connection reestablished. He was efficient and pleasant and I would definitely use this company again for future electrical needs. The company was very responsive in making the needed appointments.

The electrical company that is always advertising on TV came out and suggested a very indirect means of providing a dedicated circuit for the microwave located on the outside wall at the rear of the house. Mike of Powerworks provided a direct means of providing the circuit at a significant savings. Mike's work was professional. Bulbs and ballast were also changed for several fluorescent lights. Would definitely use Powerworks again.

Well I was told it would be $49 for them to come out and then they would look around and give us an estimate on how much it would cost before work was done. If we accepted work there wouldn’t be a $49 charge only the charge for the work. I wasn’t home when electrician showed up my husband was here. After looking at the sockets the technician asked if he could look for an outlet near the water heater. My husband said he would clear the way since it was kind of stacked. Cleared the way and he saw the socket with a GIF flipped. Technician went back and flipped it to reset it and then all the sockets worked. He then said that will be a $169 diagnostic charge for his 20 minutes of work. Which my husband paid but was annoyed that he wasn’t told a head of time that there would be a $169 charge. Figured he would be spending the $49 because after all my husband actually found the issue and had we known there was an outlet there we wouldn’t have needed to call the electrician. Again we still paid but will not call them again because they never told my husband that the $169 until the work was finished. Again everyone was really nice but definitely not worth $169 to flip a GIF switch back to the correct setting.

Mike was awesome. I called yesterday regarding a project that I've previously hired two other individuals to correct. First a handyman who made the issue worse. Second and electrician who started the job 2 months ago and has never been available to come back to finish it. Very frustrated, I called Mike to see if he could help me out. He said he could squeeze me in this morning between two other appointments. He also recommended an overall solution, not just a temporary fix for my problem, and quoted me what I believe was a fair price. Today he showed up, did the install we agreed upon, and asked if there was anything else that we wanted him to look at while he was here. Very professional, personable, and referable. Businesses like this deserve strong recommendations. I will absolutely use PowerWorks again.

Customer service for this company is great - from the person who answered the phone to the technician (Carlos) who did an outstanding job diagnosing and fixing the problem. I have an older home, which proved to be a challenge. After checking all the outlets and updating them along the way, the problem was found and resolved. Also, any safety issues encountered were dealt with and corrected which I really appreciate. Carlos was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use this company again and I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Work was done by Carlos and was outstanding. Customer service was excellent.

Tech (Mike) arrived, checked the breaker, verified that it was bad and said he'd have to find one (old unit), he had to drive probably 40-miles round trip to get the new breaker, got it installed and we were back up and reveling in cool air again. The kept their promise and even with all the driving, etc., still charged well below what other electrical types I've used in the past and for similar work. It didn't cause any pain at all to write that check. Can't give enough kudo's about this company and it's people.. Top Notch.

The installer arrived on time, explained exactly what he would be doing and showed me the components he would be installing to confirm they were what I had ordered. He completed the job quickly and then cleaned up the work entire area. Before he left he showed me where everything had been installed, how to check for proper operation, explained the warranty and how to contact them if service or warranty work was necessary.

Carlos was puntual, and very patient I was late and he waited for me he is courteous responsable very professional and knowledgeable. He knew what to do check all the outlets found the problem and fix it. Extremely happy with the service I will recommend them no doubt about it

My experience with PowerWorks Electric and Air Conditioning was very positive. My impression is that it is a well run company. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy. The technician, Carlos, was very knowledgeable, informative, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend PowerWorks.

Carlos came right out and repaired our electrical problem. He also went through the whole house and checked every outlet and pointed out things that I had missed. He also changed out our 3 prong dryer plug, installed the dryer vent, installed a new ceiling fan and installed a new A/C filter vent door. The people at PowerWorks are very honest, polite and through. They made us customers for life.

Our A/C was working just fine and a service call was placed for maintenance preparing for summer. Technician showed up on time, explained the procedure for maintenance which seemed routine. After 1.5hr of work the tech informed me that the refrigerant was low and would need to be refilled. I was surprised as the unit was working fine, and so I asked not to do as it was going to be expensive at 140/lb. After service completion the unit wasn't able to cool the house. Next day I called another A/C company and their tech showed up for diagnostic when he informed that the high/low pressure valves were left open resulting in escape of all of refrigerant. 11lb would be needed to fill the system which would now cost me $1400. A $162 annual maintenance resulted in our A/C drained! Coincident? You make the judgment. Would not recommend or use PowerWorks Electric A/C again!

Great. Extremely patient and thoughtful company. We were nice but annoying I'm sure. Our installation availability moved a few times forcing several reschedules, but the admin Rhonda and owner Mike were accommodating. We had a consultation and then on the day of installation, we added a few things on the fly. Mike gave his professional opinion, and worked with me to keep it within our budget and design. He even called that evening and said the cost was going to be less after crunching a few options. The install was great and extremely professional. Mike and his employee were on time, clean, respectful and kept me and my wife informed and up to date on each day's work. We had not moved in yet, so we weren't there during the work, but Mike went above and beyond and even did little things that helped us out while he was onsite (putting a garbage away, locking up after other workers). All said and done, the job looks great. After installation when I had tons of questions, both Rhonda and Mike took time to explain everything, even sending a few articles to help clarify. I would definitely hire again.. This company and its owner prove they care about their customers and their homes.

Very well! Carlos knew how to do all of these tasks, had the equipment (except all of the breaker switches which has been ordered and received) and was able to accomplish 90% of it in one day. He was clean and thorough in what he did and kept me informed the whole time.

We have a higher end Amanda furnace in our garage, installed new in 2010. We started noticing a pretty substantial water buildup around the base of the unit for about a week or so. Since we have a service contract with Powerworks, we gave called in a service request. Mike diagnosed the problem perfectly. Had to pretty much remove the plenum and clean the grit build up in the pan that was preventing the excess water from draining out through the drain pipe. Mike showed us the before and after pictures. Also installed a UV unit in the furnace to prevent that buildup from happening again. We should be good to go for another 8 years or so on this furnace.

Excellent. electrician was very efficient drilling all holes where needed, running wire...before going up in attic connecting all. Much less than Groupon offering $300 off electrical work open estimate.

Booked an appointment with Rhonda who was very pleasant on the phone. Owner Mike showed up on time and was able to diagnose the electrical problem and fixed it. Then had the AC replaced due to age and Guillermo (the AC specialist) was able to do that in a very short time and at a reasonable price . Both Mike and Guillermo were very professional and explained in detail what was needed and what was being done. Very happy with the service and will definitely call them again.

Electrician was knowledgeable of our electrical issue when he arrived and made the repairs in minutes. Really appreciated how he took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the problem and repairs. Office staff was very accommodating and technician was professional and friendly. Well. Workers showed up on time and were polite and easy to talk to. Work took longer than expected, but I think that is just the nature of the job. I am very pleased with the service provided.

Excellent. Spoke to Rhonda and then Mike who had Guillermo here the next morning. He was dressed professionally in a company shirt and with a company truck. The work was done correctly and quickly. I like to ask a lot of questions because I an a do-it-yourself person when I can be. Guillermo was patient and answered my questions in a friendly manner. He then checked the voltage output for me at my remote device and made an adjustment so it worked perfectly. I asked for a multimeter recommendation and he recommended one and where to buy it at a good price online.
