This was the very best experience we every had with a contractor in our home. Freddy & Karen were at our home for almost 2 weeks, and quickly became part of the family. We were very comfortable leaving them at the house when we needed to be away for work or just to run a few errands. The quality of the work was outstanding. It took a little time to get on there schedule, but I would tell anyone thinking about using them, it is well worth the wait…...

Neumann Custom Painting are top notch painters. This is the second time I have used them and they did an excellent job just as they had previously. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are very professional in their work and so very easy to work with throughout the process.

In November, Fred and Karen Neumann gave us a very fair estimate to paint the ground floor on our new house which we accepted and scheduled for January. They arrived as scheduled even on the snowiest days and worked steadily with a minimum of disruption or intrusion. After I made an appalling color choice, Fred and Karen helped us choose beautiful colors and worked an extra day (at least) repainting the affected area which also happened to be the most inaccessible. They, occasionally helped by their daughter, did a beautiful job. No streaks, no spills or drips, uniform coverage, lovely colors. They were friendly, courteous, and we felt comfortable leaving the house while they painted. We would certainly hire them again and recommend their services to our friends and neighbors. Finally, the above cost of service figure also includes over $700 in paint.

Neumann Custom painters are a husband and wife team who are friendly,reliable, thorough, trustworthy, and professional. They spent several days painting walls, ceilings, and trim in 10 rooms, a foyer, hallways and stairway. They are meticulous and the end product was flawless. I would recommend them without reservation.

They came to look at the project and provided and estimate. Karen helped with color selections. We wanted to be in our beach house by New Years Eve. When we requested the job be completed by then, they fit us into their schedule. We left them the key and they worked on their own. We did not see the house until the painting was completed. They did ceilings, trim, and wall, and had some major patching to do. When they e-mail us to say the work was completed, they said everything was beautiful, and they could not have been more right. The colors were beautiful, the white trim and ceilings were cut in beautifully to the wall colors. There was not a drop out of place. Our beach house looked new! Fred and Karen are lovely people who instill confidence. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any painting project. Also, in addition to finding them on Angie's List, they were recommended by our realtor.

Fred and Karen gave us an estimate last spring, but the summer was busy, so we postponed the work until November. They presented a detailed estimate, broken down into prices for partial or completed job. We decided to go ahead with the entire area--living room, dining room, hallway, kitchen, and sun room. Both Fred and Karen helped us to decide on colors. They suggested combinations and "stopping points" for the three wall colors we finally chose. They arrived on time on the scheduled day with their equipment and supplies. We had cleared most of the walls and moved furniture. After repairing some cracks and nail pops, they covered surfaces with plastic before sanding and painting ceilings first. They work quickly and carefully. The job was completed on time three days later, but Fred returned to do a second ceiling repair and coat of paint because he wasn't satisfied with the result of the first repair. They are both meticulous and incredibly precise. Each day, they cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. We enjoyed having them in our home because, besides being great workers, they are terrific people. It was a pleasure to meet them. We look forward to hiring them next year to do bedrooms and bathrooms. I can't imagine finding more competent or professional paint contractors.

This is a husband and wife painting team who are extraordinarily accomplished in the art of home painting. They are meticulous about their work and I could not find one flaw or problem with their work. Additionally they made sound suggestions for color and design to help show off my 10 foot ceilings, tray ceilings and crown molding and wood trim. I have already asked them for estimates for painting additional rooms in my house as well as some outside work. In addition, they are a very nice, personable people. They are an A + firm. I would highly recommend their company.

The Neumanns take pride in painting work that is nearly flawless. They work quickly, neatly, and pay attention to every possible detail. For us, they not only met all of their contractual commitments, they also added special touches that we did not expect. In addition, they provided superb advice to us about the choice and complementarity of colors and their wall placement. Finally, the Neumanns are pleasant and agreeable people. It was a joy to have them work in our home.

I am extremely happy with the service provided by Fred and Karen. First, they were very professional when I initially contacted them (found on Angie's List) and they were punctual for the scheduled appointment to see the condo so they could make an estimate. Within a few days, they provided a very reasonable estimate (tied for the lowest of 4 estimates, and was 3x less than the highest estimate in the group). They worked with me from a distance by email and phone throughout the whole process, and didn't seem phased by not having us nearby to contact. They took 4 days (which matched what others estimated) and we are very happy with the finished product. We chose different colors and have some accent walls. At the points where the colors meet at a corner or where the wall meets the ceiling, their attention to detail shows. The lines are all very straight and the colors are not bleeding over onto the adjoining space. They left the place very clean. Also, they were very economical with the paint that they bought -- we have some for future touchups but they didn't overbuy and leave us with a lot to store. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the whole process and highly recommend them.

I own rental property at the beach. I wanted to freshen up the house, inside and out, for the new tenants who would be moving in the first of November. I requested estimates from five local painters. One painter never showed up. The remaining estimates ranged thousands of dollars apart. Karen and Fred Neumann arrived at the appointed time and quickly surveyed the work that needed to be completed. They are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I had a good feeling about them from the start. I received their estimate via email the next evening and their prices were so reasonable, I couldn't wait to employ them. Also, I found them on Angies List with "A" ratings from several other subscribers. The timing was perfect for them and also for my needs. I knew what color I wanted to use throughout the interior. Karen and I discussed and selected colors for the deck stain and shutters. She has a great eye for color and making a deck or window "pop." As the work progressed, we discussed other items that I needed to have completed and they immediately provided an estimate which in every case was very affordable. The final result is stunning! The home looks brand new. The interior is beautiful, the shutters look very beachy, the deck is a great color and is now very resistant to rain and the elements. The Neumanns transformed the house back to its original beauty. I'm so happy with their work. I think my new tenants will be very happy when they see this lovely home.

My sister and I moved to Delaware in late July and our builder recommended an interior house painter. To accommodate the painter we postponed several deliveries and installations and were so upset when he was a "no show". After two follow-up calls, we gave up. This is such an efficient method of communication so that within two weeks they started the job to paint our entire home. Fred, Karen and Tiffany arrived on time just as they said they would. This family of painters work together as an efficient team. Neatness and cleanliness counts and the Neumann's receive a score of 10! From the moment this husband and wife team entered our house we knew we were going to hire them! Very personable, professional, and even made an extra trip to our house to help me make my final color choice. Freddy and Karen went above and beyond customer service. When I came home from a long day of work everything was packed up neatly, floor swept, and paint in the next location. The bonus was they also brought their delightful daughter along who was also a fabulous painter. Their prices are reasonable and service amazing, if you can get this team I recommend them highly!

The Neumann's are the family who epitomize "The family that paints together stays together." Mom, Dad and daughter Tiffany were not only fun, they were excellent, precise painters. I'd never worked with painters that actually SMILED! They were punctual and listened to my concerns or questions -- as in "PLease don't show up until 9am" where as other painters have insisted on startiong the job at the crack of dawn. I don't DO dawn! So they were flexible, reasonable, and did a wonderful job for me even returning quickly when I changed my mind on a color. They were heavily booked but got back to me quickly on the paint change. I will use Neumann customer painting for ALL my paint needs now and into the future.

They are very reliable. They show up when they say they are going to show up. They gave what I consider to be a reasonable estimate. They are perfectionists. He didn't want to see shoddy work that he had done, as they live close by. I like that they are so particular about what they are doing. They genuinely want to do a good job.

First did thorough job of power washing decks and areas of house that need cleaning. Painted around door, windows, columns, stained front porch and deck. Even clipped some plants growing out from underneath the deck. Good professional job, showed up when they said they would, pleasant to work with. No trouble to get

Top quality workmanship that greatly exceeded our expectations. Their work was neat and very professional. They are experts and their work shows it. Both Karen and Freddy Neumann are professional painters. Karen aided in selecting the perfect shade of the colors I wanted. She definitely has an eye for all the various shades and knows the best color to put on your walls. They painted my home while I was away. I arrived home just as they were cleaning up to leave. My house was spotless, the painting was fabulous, and everything they had to move was back in place. The license on their work truck is "Ishowup" and they sure did!
