 + -1 moreWe called Aqua Plumbing to do some repairs on the "leaky" house we had just purchased. The technician installed a new kitchen faucet, replaced old shutoff valves, fixed washer faucet leak, and performed other tasks in association with these repairs. After he left, he returned shortly because he forgot to put a tie wrap on the washer hose. We were impressed with that commitment to quality. We did not use the undersink storage after that because of the damage from the previous faucet leak, so it was weeks later when we happened to open the cabinet under the sink to find a puddle of water. The drain had been leaking ever since the repairs were made. Aqua Plumbing came to fix it - BUT charged us for the additional supplies needed to fix the leak. Fortunately, there was already damage to the cabinet from the past so no new damage occurred, but we thought it unfair to charge us for a leak they caused.

 + -1 moreThey were hired to fix a leak under a bathroom sink. I specifically told them not to replace the fixtures they had inquired about. They did it anyway and charged me $225 for fixtures that can be purchased for $70 at Home Depot.
Description of Work: The worker installed a bathroom and kitchen faucet that he was specifically told not to install. He called my mother and asked her if she wanted them installed. I was the customer, and it was my credit card that was charged. The office people were belligerent and rude. I had to hire another company,Palmetto Plumbing,to remove the fixtures and complete the work. They charge over $225 for fixtures that were less than $100 online. Terrible company, terrible people, terrible experience!

 + 1 moreSee above--it went very smoothly. They were very professional, prompt, and faster than they anticipated. They showed me how clean the pipes were after water jetting, and I have had no problems since.
Description of Work: I contacted Aqua Services and one other plumbing company with high reviews on Angie's List when I had 2 instances of drain pipes backing up. The first company charged nothing for the dispatch call, camera'd my sewer lines, and told me I needed the sewer lines blown out/hydro-cleaned. Price estimate was $2,600 to $3,000 (depending on whether I joined thier preferred customer club for a year). They have fixed price list based on # of bedrooms, regardless of size of house. The cleaning would have been both main sewer line and all braches, into the bathrooms including pulling the toilets. My house is small FL bungalow built in '62 (1,300 s.f.). I have replaced all water pipes, so it made sense that the sewer lines needed serious cleaning/blowing out also. Price sounded high for small house and I wanted another estimate. They also quoted price of $1,800 approx to do just main sewer line, but advised against just doing the main line. I contact Aqua Services and they came out the next day, charged me $160 to camera the lines and diagnose problem (serious build up on insides of pipes). They gave me price of $1,295 (minus the $160 for the 1st visit) to blow out main sewer lines and said main line should be enough -no need to do all branches. They did it the next day, and showed me how clear the pipes looked after they did hydro-jetting. I was very pleased with their knowledge, professionalism, prompt service, and the reasonable porice. They warranty the work for a year. I would gladly use them again, and higly recommend them. Don't want to name the other company they were very nice and I don't want to trash them. For some people a fixed price list might work (bigger house). Moral of my story--get multiple esitmates even from highly recommended Angie's List companies!

Description of Work: They were very thorough with the work and found all leaks. It saved me at least $200 per month after the service, since I no longer had to fill the pool daily. They did need to reschedule due to an emergency job, but I was extremely happy with the service and work!

 + -1 moreKeith found that whoever had repaired the faucet before had done a ham fisted job of it and has stripped out the allen screws so that he could not remove them not even with his "easy-out" We decided that I should take a quick trip to get a new faucet to the local hardware store while he removed the old one and tightened up the packing on the water shutoff valves. The timing was perfect, just as I arrived back with the new faucet, he was ready to install it and did so speedily and efficiently. Very happy with Aqua, but especially pleased with Keith who, after everything was fixed, checked every faucet and water supply line in the house making sure everything was OK. Be assured I will call Aqua again, and I will request that Keith do the work. Five Star rating. UPDATE: After about a year, the installed kitchen faucet started to come loose and rattle around. I had to get under there and tighten things up. Never had this issue in the many years of having new faucets installed. Had to derate quality of installation to a C

 + -1 moreThe company was able to schedule this major project within 6 days of my call. The two plumbers had worked as a team exclusively on repiping projects for more than 10 years. They were extremely efficient and kept the job site continuously clean. The job took 3 days but water was only interrupted on the final day when they connected the new pipes. The job required drilling under the concrete slab in the kitchen to connect to an island. By drilling from the refridgerator to the dishwasher locations, no tiles had to be replaced. Only 4 cut outs in the walls were required and these were completely repaired as part of the job. . All other access work was performed in bathroom and kitchen cabinets and repaired with professional looking plastic access panels. New manual valves were installed at all locations. All the new CPVC piping in the attic and walls was insulated. When they left, the only visible sign of the job was the shiny new stainless steel valves on all the plumbing fixtures.
Description of Work: Completely repipe the house with CPVC pipe to eliminate pin hole leaks in the original copper pipes

We were impressed on how neat they were and would always clean up after every room they had to replumb. They were polite, courteous and would work out any problem they encountered. If we ever hear of anyone that needs this type of work done in their home, we would not hesitate to highly recommend them. In fact, we told several neighbors that they did a great job.
Description of Work: Two technicians from Aqua plumbing came to repipe our entire house due to pin hole leaks. You could tell they were very experienced with the job at hand. They explained everything to us so we knew what to expect.

 + 0 moreThis was an exceptionally good experience from beginning to end. I called on a Monday afternoon with a terrible leak under the trailer. The man answering the phone was pleasant, respectful and very helpful. They sent someone right out that very afternoon. The man who came to assist me (Amram), put "covers" on his shoes before entering my house so as to spare my carpet EVERY time he went outside and came back in. He LISTENED to my questions; gave me options: and, a written estimate good for 30 days, all of which seemed very reasonable. He came back the very next day and completed the work. Again, he protected my carpet (this time with drop cloths) leaving me no mess to clean up afterwards. Then, he did something above and beyond the call of duty. My water pressure had been so terrible before he came that I had to shower when no one in the park was using their water. I had been told when I moved in (more than 5 years ago) that the pressure in the park was bad and there was nothing that could be done about it. I heard all kinds of banging outside only to discover that it was Amram removing the collected rust in the shut off valve for the water coming into the trailer from the park system. In one day I went from the trickle-down effect to a torrential downpour. He will always be my hero.
Description of Work: Replaced water heater in a very old trailer (built in 1964) in an extremely difficult location. Added a drip pan that drains "outside" of the trailer instead of all over the floor. Added additional pipe and a shut off valve (another feature lacking in the prior installation). And last, but not least restored water pressure that had not been present for over 5 years.

 + -1 moreDiscovered mold under sink behind vanity in master bath. The technician reviewed the area with me and told me of possible fixes. After finding the pin hole leak he was able to make the repair by re-routing the pipes. He also installed a new faucet I had previously purchased and had planned on installing myself. He suggested a company to have the mold removed completely and the drywall repaired. Todays plumbing repair went fairly quick and I am very happy that he was able get under there without removing the entire vanity as I had assumed. Thanks, Susan

He advised that we turn off the breaker to avoid the possibility nof fire and arranged to return the next day to replace the water heater. He advised me to check the website for possible coupons and made certain that my elderly mother understood who he was and what he was doing. He returned the following day at the time we expected and was very efficient and cleaned up all around his work area. We were very pleased and will not only call Aqua in the future but will ask that Keith be "our plumber".

 + 0 moreFrom start to finish, beginning with the phone call, all associates were very polite and professional throughout the procedure. In fact I found the gentleman to be very helpful in his information regarding who was at fault. He ws also very persistent in locating the problem (cause) and then doing the job. I have had no problems since then with overflow or backup in the shower or anywhere in the house.
Description of Work: Aqua Plumbing was called because my dirty water was backing up into my shower, and was, at the time of the call about 1 1/2 inches deep. The gentleman arrived promply, and upon investigation, found that the problem was something that the Condo Association should pay. He did a fine job of unclogging the drain for me (I had to clean up the mess, but I didn't really expect him to do that. The next day he came back and cleaned pipes. I was not involved in the cost as the association payed for the service. During the whole process, he and his fellow worker had to come into my condo several times so make sure they were in the right spot. They were very friendly and cordial, always knocking and waiting for me to let them in before entering.

 + -1 moreThis was one of best plumbing contractors ever! I needed to get a toilet put back together that I had started to repair myself (toilet flange and wax ring). The dispatcher initially told me they were booked out for a few days, but when I indicated I really had some time constraints, she fit me in on the same day. The technician, Sam Johnson, arrived on time and was a very nice guy. He was very fast and efficient and explained the process as I peeked in from time to time. He finished the job quickly (45 minutes) cleaned up thoroughly and charged a VERY fair rate. I would definitely use this company again. Great service, professional, friendly and fair prices.

 + -1 moreI hired Aqua Plumbing and Air to fix a leaking sink/pipe in a bathroom at a rental property. I asked to be called before any work was performed and given an estimate. When I was called, the technician had already performed a repair that I did not request. He then told me about two other problems that the tenant had him working on. There was work performed that I did not request. He told me two faucet's needed to be replaced. I told him not to replace them. The tenant then called my mother and tricked her into having the plumber replace the faucets. The technician did not have her phone number, he only had mine. He was supposed to deal directly with me. I handle all of my family's rentals. The technician had no right to listen to the tenant, and no right speaking with anyone other than me in regards to the work being performed. He also had no permission to perform any work other than what I asked the company to perform. Jewel at the office promised I would be called before the work was started, and was not given permission to authorize any work other than what I called about. PS I just saw the charge for the repair on my credit card. $925.11. This company was asked to fix one leak. I expected a bill between $300-$400 dollars. The plumber ignored my wishes and did what the tenant wanted at my expense. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

 + -1 moreWater line to new fridge not working. Called Aqua and had a serviceman come out for an estimate on doing the job. Arrived at scheduled time. He looked at the job and gave me a price which also included installing a new kitchen faucet which I had bought before. The serviceman said that he could do the job now if I wanted. Which I said yes. He was very professional and friendly. Did not waste anytime on doing the job. Now I have water and ice from my new fridge and the kitchen faucet is not lifting from the sink when we want to use it. Also realized that this is the same company but different branch that we use to service our air conditioner. Will call them again if needed for plumbing problems.

A week later, a day before we were due to leave the city, we were clearing brush and found a leak at the spot where the water supply for an irrigation system was going underground. It was running parallel to the house water supply and was still leaking when I turned the house water supply off so another {quick} solution was necessary. I immediately consulted Angie's list and found Aqua highly rated. I called, explained the situation and noted that we did not have much time since our flight out was early the next day. They called back within an hour and scheduled someone to come out before the end of the same day. The plumber who came "Paul" efficiently determined the procedure necessary to fix the leak and proceeded to take care of the problem in less than an hour. The charge, including an Angie's list discount, was very reasonable. I was very impressed with Aqua's ability to respond to this time-critical situation and to so efficiently and professionally address the problem.
Description of Work: Aqua responded with essential service on only a few hours notice to fix a leak on the inflow supply line to an irrigation system.
