Aqua Plumbing & Air

I have two a/c's, and wanted to know what the second air conditioning unit would cost. They never got back to me.

I had a water line leak between the house and the meter. There was no sign of the break on the surface. Justin was very thorough in his search - and patient - when the break was located he did the additional digging necessary and repaired the line, which involved rerouting it around a tree, laying all new pipe from the meter. After turning the meter back on and finding that there were no more leaks, he refilled the trench. The entire job took 5 hours. The water shut off was a normal repair. I thank you for being there to offer recommendations. I have used Aqua before for small things and have always been completely satisfied.

It went fine. The guy was good, he was fine, he charged me normal fee, he deducted the part that I paid Angie's List and everything was fine. I was happy with them. He was a young fellow and he did what needed to be done. I had a thermostat that's needed to be changed and he took care of the thermostat.

Keith was very personable and asked the right questions to determine the problem. This was an after hours job and he made sure he got here as soon as possible since our facilities were not usable. Keith checked inside the home and then we took him to the cleanout where he was able to determine where the clog was and then snaked it.

Keith came to work at one of our rental houses. He fixed the dripping shower, the kitchen faucet and worked on the water heater and showed us where and how to turn off the water. He knew what he was doing, did it quickly, and explained everything. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and didn't make any "unnecessary" trips to his truck. I recommend Aqua Plumbing and Keith!

I did use Aqua Plumbing & Air and I had mixed feeling about them and that’s one of the reasons I didn’t review them. They come out and did the work and I said there is something wrong with two of the toilets, he fixed them but then one of the toilets would continue to run intermittently and when I called them back – they said when he comes out and there something different you going to be charged again for service call which I felt I had invest a lot of money with that and toilets even though it’s been only every six or seven flushes I feel that soon after they have been out here that I should have that problem. Again, that is not why he came out I said there is something wrong with my toilets I would expect especially given what I have paid to have it fixed. I still wouldn’t have any issues after that and it wasn’t like the toilet run every time it was like every five or six times it would run. The guy who came out was friendly, polite and professional but the fact that I still continue to have an intermittent problem and they’re going to sent him off of which I questioned if they will send the same person out and they say if something new you’re going to be charged. It’s difficult for that person to say I really didn’t get at all the first time. Initial visit was fine except that there continued to be a problem. He was on time. He was professional.

Bedroom circuit breaker kept tripping. Could not find problem on 1st call but gave us their cell number to call the next time it happened. Responded promptly when we called the cell number. It was later determined to be a problem with the underground line to an outside post light.

It went fine. This is the second time that we have used them. They are professional and prompt, they do what they say they are going to do. There price is a bit high, but the repairs are done correctly and timely.

Be skeptical2c but listen to me when I say this company is just consumer centered from top notch CSR, s to the Job Estimator and finally the installer team. RON AND Charlies not only are technical experts in stalling, but they had great customer skills. They worked fast, quiet, clean and left the property cleaner then when they started. Aqua might have ladders on their truck roof but their cost was below the median for the job as shown on Angies list. They were flexible working within my social security income and the final cost was below the estimate enough to tak3 the wife out for dinner. I read everything about Pex on the internet and it was enough to mak3 m3 dangerous. The install team, skippedmno corners and their work is beyond the scope I expected. Their PEX ballast is a work of art, worthy 8f inclusion in any printed AD. Each Aquar person told me they were going to do a great job and I would be happy. Their confidence was always present. Thank you Angie List for pointing me to Aqua Plumbing. I am quite happy to say they are MY plumbers (Ron and Charley !).

Everything went well, fast clean installation, and any problems I had, more like questions they were very polite and responsive to me.

Derek of Aqua Plumbing evaluated the problems and gave us an upfront estimate, which I thought was extremely reasonable. He then proceeded to complete the job to our complete satisfaction. I have had him in the past to repair our kitchen sink drain, and had the same experience. I would recommend him to anyone. A word of caution: the last time I used Aqua Plumbing I asked for Derek and he was scheduled to come. At the last minute they called and said he was tied up but "Paul" was in the area. I agreed to use Paul instead, and I felt that he took far longer than necessary to replace a simple leak in a drain pipe. He took three trips out to his truck, and he charged us far more than was reasonable.

Keith, the plumber, is professional in his attitude to the customer's needs and in his understanding of plumbing issues. He is always polite and friendly, is punctual, and leaves the work location clean and tidy.

Staff on phone was very friendly, answered all my questions and made appt for plumber to come out on the next day. Plumber came and took his time to explain the problem. Fixed the leak. No other complications and was pleased with this plumber being patience with us. To this day, there has not been any problems with the leaks.

Addendum January 22, 2014: In light of our negative review, Mr. John Miller, President of Aqua Plumbing and Air, refunded our costs in full. Obviously, he takes full responsibility for the service provided. We thank him for his willingness to stand behind the reputation of his firm. I would NEVER hire these people again. They replaced the batteries on the Thermostat and it still does not work, cost: $156.00. I called to inform them that it does not work. The leak, which was "fixed" with a part that cost $2.45 + $176.00 in labor, still leaks. This organization does not stand behind their work and their labor costs are absurd. I called today (1/06/14) to indicate that the problem continues and they said they would come out to see what the problem was AGAIN for a mere $89 for the first 15 minutes. Unacceptable results, unacceptable service, outrageous costs. I have the receipts and the workman's comments to document my experience.

Aqua Plumbing and Air sent out a service tech in a timely fashion to perform the annual inspection per county requirements including tagging the backflow device. Aqua Plumbing and Air filed the required paperwork on my behalf with the county and sent me a complete copy of the invoice and receipt. Also since this home was built in the past year I expected no repairs would be needed and my expectations were met. It was an effortless experience with no follow-up required. I plan to use Aqua Plumbing and Air the next time the inspection is required.

I found them on Angie's List and called for an appointment. They were available the very next day so we sent up a time window of 12-4. They sent me a confirmation email. The next day came, and I received a call in the morning asking if they might come in the morning in about 20-30 minutes. I agreed. They sent me another email with a picture of the plumber who would be coming. About 20 minutes later he showed up. Nice young man. He went right to work and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes. Price was as he told me, including getting 10% off because I had an Angie's list coupon. As he worked we discussed a few other plumbing problems and he took a quick look at the toilet valve and told me a bit about it. Nothing needed to be done. Price was as anticipated. This was probably the most pleasant experience I have had hiring a plumber. Would definitely recommend them.

Set up appointment for the next afternoon. I called back after a few mins and asked if they could come that same day. They were able to schedule an appointment for the afternoon. They called back within a half hour and asked if they could come within the hour. Yes, of course! Then another 30 min went by and the plumber called with an update on arrival. He arrived as indicated in his call. He came in, covered shoes, which I was really greatful, and we proceeded to the leaking shower head. He immediately diagnosed the problem and explained it to me. He placed a drop cloth down and proceeded to replace the cartridge in the water control knob. He worked quickly to remove parts in an orderly manner on the drop cloth. He showed me something that he found inside that may have been from many years of wear and tear. He also noticed that the main water valve showed signs of a small leak and asked if I was responsible for the water bill or was it through the condo association. I called them, they confirmed and they asked him to send them a quote. He documented this on the invoice. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was very nice and professional. I have had a lot bad luck with service providers since I bought this place two years ago. I was very pleased with the plumber and his work methods. The price was a little more than I had anticipated but that was not in his control. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience which I rarely see in any service providers anymore! I would definitely call them again!

We recently moved into our condo and found that we had no hot water in our second bathroom. (Why our home inspector missed that is another story for another day!) It turns out that previous plumber from another company hooked the pipes up improperly after the replumb. The guys from Aqua diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it without a problem. The other 2 items were things that my husband requested. I am very pleased with the service from this company. Very professional. I will definitely call them in the future should the need arise.
