As above. It took 3 attempts to schedule and get someone on the job. Cancellation due to time, misdirection and loss of address led to some frustration as I had to have someone at the house. Luckily they work Saturday so I was finally able to get the service done. This must NOT have been the original Abrahm's service I used many years ago. After a set appt. time, they called to see if the tech could come early.(This was the last scheduled visit with me.). I did not pick up my call immediately because I was shopping. When I did It was lucky I was on my way home, because the tech came in right after I got home.

Aabrams cl and my chimney and performed an inspection to make sure that it was usable. They found some defects and made recommendations and gave me an estimate on the spot. They instructed me on proper tools to use for making a fire and placing logs on the fire. I was also given advice on how to prevent backdraft a. They also cleaned my dryer air ducts. They were very professional and didn't make any mess! I would recommend again.

Showed up at appointment time and was very professional. I was kind of surprised when a car showed up instead of a truck but he had all the equipment in the car. He did a good job cleaning the vent and the chimney. Cleaned up after his work. I will use their service again for sure.

Bernard's estimate was very competitive with one bidder being extremely high. After the initial estimate, I asked him to come out a second time to review all he planned to do. I wanted to make certain I was comparing "apples to apples". He was happy to come out again and verify the work he would do. In the process, he was concerned that if they removed the old brick, it may not match the rest of the fireplace. However, I had to have it repaired and the other bidders said the same thing. I verified AAbrams on Angies list to make sure there were other favorable ratings. While there were some negative ratings, all the jobs that were close in price to mine seemed positive so I took the chance. I'm glad I did. Bernard was punctual, courteous and knowledgeable. When they went to remove the old fireplace, he found some additional damage due to the old fireplace being mounted on boards and not brick. He also replaced that. His sub contractor for the masonry was very nice and very good. When he finished, everything looked perfect and you could not tell that anything had done. The replaced brick looked like the original. to his credit, he did carefully remove the previous brick so he could reuse as much as possible which made the difference. On the inside of the new fireplace there was a streak mark that would not come off. When I pointed it out, Bernard did not hesitate to repaint the frame and now it looks perfect. Bernard is honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable and very fairly priced. I am happy to recommend him.

The guy scratched our floor pretty bad while trying to clean our chimney. The floor was two months old. The guy came in

He was terrific. He made a few adjustments to the work he did six months ago. He said to call if it leaked again. Very professional and cordial.

It went well. The chimney looks great. They replaced it with new wood and as far as i can tell everything is great. Bernard was great and very professional. they were on time and very nice. They also did a great job cleaning up.

Arrived on time and got right to work. Went on the roof and inspected, then came inside and cleaned and made sure everything was working correctly. Cleaned up thoroughly and left no evidence that he had ever been there. He took the time to answer all of our questions and also informed us that the boots on the roof needed to be replaced.

Technician(Shevon) was knowledgeable, polite and professional. He explained what he was doing and gave tips on how to safely use the fireplace and what would be needed for future repairs.

Very tidy. There was not much accumulation in the flues, but what was there was cleared, and the process provided peace of mind for using the fireplaces.

Shervon arrived earlier than promised, after calling to be sure that would be convenient for us, and promptly set about cleaning our chimney. He protected our floor and carpet very well, and left no residue behind. After cleaning the chimney, he went up on the roof and checked to make sure the chimney was in good shape there. He was pleasant, professional and seems to have done a good job, as our chimney is drawing better now than it ever has. We're pleased with the service and would certainly use again when we need our chimney serviced.

I found Aabrams through Angie's List and they had a "10% off" link, which I clicked. I'm a little leery of scheduling things via the website, but I went ahead and filled out their form. It didn't take long to get a response back simply asking me to call in. I sort of wish I had initially, but it was worth a try. I called and scheduled an appointment for a couple of days later. The day of the appointment, I received a call that they were running ahead of schedule and asked if it would be ok to arrive about an hour early. That was great for me. Shervon arrived right when he was expected. He was absolutely fantastic. Polite, knowledgable, friendly, and professional. I told him that we'd had some issues with smoke rising into the room as opposed to up the chimney. He inspected and cleaned. He showed where there were some cracks in the base and said we should be careful about placing wood to prevent further damage. He mentioned they do those repairs, but didn't push to do any replacement. He gave advice about wood and grate placement to keep the smoke from rising into the house. He then climbed onto the roof and inspected the vent, adding some sealant around the storm collar. No additional charge. We were in good shape. The cost was just as promised. It was a fabulous experience. I'll definitely call them again for both cleaning and repair work.

They were on time and they clearly stated what was needed and what was not. I would definitely use them again.

Overall a positive experience. We played a bit of phone tag to get the service scheduled. The service date was not too far in the future. The service person was very punctual -- in fact, the office called to see if he could come early, which was fine with me. Not only did he do a great job with the requested service, he let us know about some roof damage we had that he saw when he was up servicing the vent. That was certainly above and beyond, and we appreciated it. The service person was very polite. We would definitely use this company again.

Bernard was very nice and he did a great job cleaning the chimney and the vent. He also showed me how much lint was accumulated in the dryer vent because the vent was not properly attached to the wall. Hence he recommended attaching it properly so the lint wouldn't go to the walls and accumulate in such amount as he has cleaned. His prices were very reasonable as well so I highly recommend him.

No response to a price quote. Must of gone fishing.

I was not able to schedule this. The receptionist was not able to locate her scheduling book. I am seeking a refund from Angie's List.

I called and spoke with a very nice woman who scheduled the appointment with a lead time of about 4 days. The service provider called 20 minutes before the scheduled time of between 10:00-11:00 to let me know what time he would be here. He arrived on time and went to work. He cleaned the vent on the inside and showed me the buildup explaining why its so important to stay on top of vent cleaning. He cleaned up the lint and then went outside to continue cleaning the exhaust vent. I am pleased with every aspect of the service and will call them to service our vents once a year.

He came out to do the service, but said he could not, my entire chimney needed replaced. I am just requesting a refund on the deal and going to do something different with my chimney. He did give me an estimate to replace the chimney for $3500.

They did an excellent job, they rescheduled their time to work around me which I thought was fantastic. I called him out again and he is still perfect!!

The provider was on time and completed the work in a thorough manner. I was very pleased with his punctuality and professionalism, as well as the price for the service. I will definitely call him again.

He said that he could not clean all of my chimney because it didnot go in a straight line. So he cleaned only the lower part of the chimney.
