Mason was on time, focused, highly skilled, efficient, and gave a lot of thought to design and reuse of brick. Very nice job, great cleanup. Also did two brick repairs to house brick that blend seamlessly with original.

I had an appointment scheduled with Aabrams to have my chimney cap replaced, and I received an email stating "I passed by your house earlier and your roof is too steep for me". I know I have a relatively steep rough, but I would expect a company with expertise in chimneys to be able to access it. I would also expect a professional to talk to me about my problem and tell me directly why they can't help me. Perhaps we could troubleshoot the problem and come up with a solution. I feel like this is unprofessional and disappointing. They went so far as to mark this project as completed on Angie's list. Still trying to find someone to help with our leak.

They were able to determine where the water was coming in. They sealed it and all around it. They took pictures and showed me the before and after. They gave me a 5 year warranty on it. It took several companies to finally identify what the issue was. The other companies sealed the wrong area.

It didn't go .It took a week or so to get an appointment to get my dryer vent cleaned. Finally got an appointment for Friday, Feb 2, between 1:30-2:00 PM. At 2:30 I called and left a message asking was there an update on a time to expect them. At 3:00 I called again and indicated I had to get ready for work and told them to not bother coming it was too late. I never got a return call from this company.

I got 3-4 estimates and Aabrams Chimneys offered the best price. They did a wonderful job. I haven't had any issues since they did the work. I would use them again and I would 100% recommend them to others.

Went very well. He was able to come out and give an estimate the day I called, and was able to come back very quickly to fix the issues (only had to wait for the refractory to be cut to proper size). The day of the work he was very efficient and professional, and even painted the chimney case for me (which the previous person had not done. In addition, part of the case was not properly attached and he fixed that at no charge. I would highly recommend and use this company again.

Communication was very prompt. He called to say that he was running late, which I appreciated. He snaked the vent as far as he could from the ground up but told me that because the roof was so pitched, he wouldn't get up there to see if it was trapped up high. As a chimney sweep company, I was surprised and disappointed by this. He still asked for the full amount of $75 even though the job was not complete. I paid it. My dryer still reads that there's an airflow problem and now I'm going to have to hire someone else.

Gentleman said chimney didn't really need cleaning, removed floor of fireplace(easy job i could have done) then cleaned our dryer venting. charge was $180.00!!!! actually charged me for chimney clean which wasn't done. dryer quit heating next time we used it, called another person and he discovered dryer vent had an L shaped turn in it in the attic that was full of lint. He said that the previous person should have known because no air was being sent out the top of vent. that cost us another $120.00!!

Job went very smoothly with no difficulties. Would use this contractor again and recommend to others.

We were told previously that we would need to repair our chimney, but he did a thorough inspection, complete with pictures and video, and we did not have to have any repairs after all. He was very honest and knowledgeable.

Many years ago I hired them to clean the chimney on a newly purchased home. He found that there were parts not working and he fixed everything for me at very reasonable cost. Now I use them for routine chimney cleanings. Love them--they are punctual, hard working and honest.

I called Aabrams for a chimney sweep but upon inspection he said I didn't need it and would only charge me the fee for an inspection instead. He also showed a couple areas around my chimney where I needed to refasten/caulk the wood exterior.

He does fantastic work. He is willing to go the extra mile.
