Bridgette and Mike were great to work with, I would definitely hire again! I had been trying for some time to get a contractor to come and get my ceiling repaired. IF they called me back at all, they were too busy or "it looks like just a paint job". I was referred to ACE Drywall by another contractor I called, he couldn't do the work, but was kind enough to try to help me out. Bridgett returned my call that day and scheduled to come out for me the next day. They pulled out all of the damaged material, put in wood and insulation where it was needed and then replaced the finish on the ceiling. When I looked at the finished work I was amazed! It looked like no damage had ever happened and the area was cleaner than when they started the work! Their price for the work was very reasonable, other people have paid more for less. I will definitely recommend ACE Drywall to anyone who needs drywall repairs!

We had a water leak in our upstairs bathroom and it ran down into our dining room ceiling. They called before they came and arrived on time. The work was quick, clean, and done great and they were able to match the pattern of the existing ceiling. Finally, my wife appreciated the fact that it was a husband and wife team and the wife came to the job site and stayed making my wife feel more comfortable having a repairman in the house.

Mike and Bridget were professional, friendly, and thorough, and they were clear about what they could or could not do, so there were no surprises. They did a great job matching the texture! Will hire again for some indoor repairs!

Went way past our expectations. They called before they headed to our house and on time. They are a mom & pop team, no sub-contractors, they do it themselves and do it perfectly. Bridget was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She was so responsive and always returned my calls on the same day. Scheduling the estimate and the repair were so easy and they were able to get out within days of the request. The day of the job they came prepared with plastic sheeting to ensure they did not leave a mess behind and were very thorough in ensuring that they did not leave behind any dust or debris. The work completed was beautifully done and blends perfectly with the surrounding ceiling. I would definitely use Ace Custom Drywall again!!

Bridget Cowell was very responsive from the initial call to arrange estimate through to the repair where her husband Mike and another worker did the actual repair. I had received 2 other estimates both substantially higher than Ace. Both Bridget & Mike were honest & ethical and told me the extensive work that others quoted wasn't necessary. They easily could have quoted a higher estimate. Based on their responsiveness, their obvious knowledge about what the repair would entail and honesty, I chose to give them the repair job....an excellent job, clean & efficient.

Bridget was an extremely good communicator. She was very accommodating when I had to push out our service date. They arrived when they said they would, and worked well together. There was another part of the ceiling that needed repair and wasn't included in the original quote. They gave a very reasonable price to include this area as well. The painter came to see the job, and said they did an amazing job combining the old popcorn ceiling to the new. He said most drywall people botch that part. He said it was the best job he had ever seen. These people will take very good care of you. We were extremely satisfied.

My 70+ plus puppy knocked a pretty good hole in the wall while running right into the wall. It was beyond DIY so I called Ace Custom Drywall since they had a great rating on Anglie's List. I would say I'm a pretty harsh critic when it comes to professionalism and work quality so when I rated them an A it's a tough A to earn. I was very pleased with the response time, the professional manner in communication, easy estimate by texting pictures of the damaged wall, and how quickly they were able to add me to their schedule. They are SUPER courteous when it comes to keeping your home clean from beginning to end. I am taping their business card to the inside of my cabinet because I will definitely use them again !! Lord willing, it won't be too soon.

We are EXCEEDINGLY pleased with the work that was done. Bridget, Mike, Obie, and Jacob worked like a well oiled machine. They anticipated each others needs and, therefore, worked very efficiently. They are quite the artists in their trade. I was amazed at how accurate their cuts were in the Sheetrock around the AC duct work, the garage door opener, fixtures, etc. and how it all fit together like tight puzzle pieces. They didn't use paper tape for the seams. They used a mesh that will stand the test of time. The Sheetrock was screwed in, not nailed. I am very confident we will never need to replace our garage ceiling ever again. The ceilings in both the garage and the laundry room are even; no bumps or gouges whatsoever. The knockdown texture looks awesome. It's not always easy hiring people to do work on your house. We've had a few situations in the past that were less than stellar. This time, with Ace Custom Drywall, it was very apparent from the get-go that they were real professionals. All of them were very respectful and easy to talk with. I am so happy with their work (and I am pretty particular, or so I'm told) that they will be removing my dropped ceiling in the kitchen and bathrooms and taking that horrible popcorn from all of my ceilings in the house and texturing them. Eventually. :)

Mike and Bridgette came over within two days of requested estimate. They were professional, on time, answered all questions and offered options for repairs which were both reasonable in price. Was planning on using this company for repairs, unfortunately, Irma caused additional damage to home and a family member ended up completing storm and dry wall repairs. I would definitely recommend this company. Even though I did not have services performed, Mike and Bridgette were kind and understanding, and they will be my go to dry wall experts to go to in the future. Mara and Mark

They did a FANTASTIC job patching the wall. Not only did they repair the substructure with additional wood, they spackeled the wall so well that I cant find a seam even when looking very closely! Now that the repair is complete no-one can tell that the wall ever had a hole in it, even if I tell them that it did. All in all I'm very glad that I hired them instead of attempting to fix it myself.

Their work was meticulous and the finished product looked great. New drywall seams were invisible and the man is an artist when it comes to applying texture. I will definitely engage them again for removing popcorn and applying knockdown texture throughout the house. I strongly recommend these folks for their professionalism and skills.

Upon initial inspection (2 days after the call) they suggested that the 12' x 3 car garage section at the front of the house should be replaced. Of course I argued, thinking that the section that had fallen should only be replaced. The opposite end of the garage had started to bend as well, and they were afraid that there would need to be a 2nd repair done. So, we were scheduled for the $2200 repair of the 2 sections of drywall for the length of the 3 car garage. In the middle, the doorbell rang, and Bridgett was at the door. She said that the middle section was secured properly and they didn't have to replace it, and the bill would be $1400! How many times has a contractor actually said they didn't have to do work and lowered the bill? We talked for a bit, found out that not only were they Christian but believed in Karma. She said if they pursued the original $2200 estimate, they would be punished and would end up losing more than this minimal gain. Michael and Bridgett Cowell are quality people. They did a quality job and for less than they originally indicated. I will not use anyone else for drywall or other such repairs. For those who read the negative reviews, please look. None of the negatives have used them. They didn't like the price, or were told something they didn't want to hear. I'm telling you right now that those who rated the Cowell's low made a mistake. I hope that those reading this review do not make that same mistake. Happily submitted, Briggs Smith, a very satisfied client.

ACE did an excellent job. ACE did not take very long in completing the job. They put down protecting covering and did an excellent job in cleaning up after the work was done. In the future I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Fantastic job! Ace Custom Drywall had done previous work on our home as a sub-contractor, and did a superb job on that project as well. We did not know that's who we were working with until they showed up, but now as a prime contractor. They do an awesome job. The garage ceiling was failing in multiple places. Ace completely removed the existing ceiling, professionally replaced it, and cleaned up the job site in one day, and came back the next door for finishing touches and texture. It looks amazing! We highly endorse them for their skill, great customer service, and quality work. We even threw a change request at them mid-stream and they handled it without missing a beat!

Three workers came out and finished in 1.5 hours! Perfect work done!

The service was excellent. The team arrived as scheduled and I introduced who would be doing the work and the plan of doing that work. They set up the work area to protect all surrounding area from any dust or possible splatter. I commend them because even in a air conditioned home being enclosed by plastic sheeting is pretty rough. The work is amazing. One would have to know the repair was done to even know there had been a repair. When they left the only evidence that they were here was admiring the job they did!

From our initial meeting with Bridget and Mike for the estimate, we were confident they understood our needs. We selected them over alternatives based on their proposal, pricing and availability. We were not disappointed. They did an excellent job, were professional and prompt in all interactions and very quality-oriented. When our drywall was initially cut, I was concerned we'd see a seam. Mike and Obie did such a good job we don't see any evidence repairs were made. We definitely recommend LLJ and would absolutely use them in the future.
