Never returned my call.

This work was done on my 91-year-old parents' home in NE St. Pete. The impetus was a roof leak evidenced by a stain in a bedroom ceiling. I received bids from three companies (a roofer my dad had used previously and two top-rated local roofers I found on Angie's List). Although we considered repairing the roof, vice replacing it, all the roofers showed me why that was impractical. Shon Boswell was personable and he identified issues and made suggestions that the others did not bring up. He pointed me to several local roofs so I could inspect his comany's work and understand the new type of ridge vent he was proposing. He could do the work sooner than the others and his price was lowest. I was persuaded his proposal was the best value. The work was done promptly and professionally. I walked the roof multiple times while work was underway and was pleased with the quality of the work. The finished roof looks very nice. Clean-up was excellent. I came away very satisified and would be eager to do business with him again.

As I stated...we used someone else, but not for lack of effort on Shon's part. When I told him about having to use an in law, he was very understanding.

Shon was very professional and courteous. He wasn't pushy in the sales process and was very customer service oriented. The crew arrived 15 minutes early on the first day and got right to work. They had one person walk off the job on the second day but the team didn't miss a beat. Very nice job and would recommend highly.

The job went very well. They delivered to expectation. I liked that they came out and reviewed everything with me. They gave me an estimate before they did the work.

Shon and crew were great to work with and helped transform my home. Although it took longer than expected and cost more than I wanted to spend (both of which were primarily my fault), the results were worth it. I will definitely use Shon in the future.

Shon Boswell was prompt, courteous, and full of helpful suggestions. I had explained to him my budget constraints as well as my intention to put the house on the market and he gave excellent advice. I had four estimates for the same job but Shon gave the best price and gave the most solution oriented advice. The work was scheduled within aweek or two. I unexpectedly needed to be out of town when the work was being done so I asked him if I could pay him half upon completion and the rest when I got home and examined the work. Normally I would be nervous to have workers at my house while I was away but we communicated by phone and he didn't charge my credit card at all until I came home and had the chance to see the completed job for myself. I came home to find my roof repaired, the leak gone, the woodwork looking good, and no mess. I am very happy with his services and would highly recommend him.

We had an excellent experience working with Shon. He was always prompt, if not early. His workers were polite and worked quickly and as quietly as possible (we have a 6 month old baby). They did an excellent job cleaning up our yard and driveway once the roof was completed. They did our entire roof in just three days. I would highly recommend Shon Boswell to a friend.

After numerous bids, mostly from Angie's list, I went with Shon Boswell. His relaxed, honest, no pressure, yet professional demeanor was a perfect fit. His work ethic is superb and his work motto of hoping to be in business years from now shows. It is obvious that he respects his skilled workers and they return work hard for him. It was shocking to hear so many different ways to replace a frigging flat roof from the many different contractors. Shon's explanation of his technique was simple and made sense without fluff and unnecessary add-ons. I have two other properties that I plan to use Shon.

I am really pleased with the new roof. It looks great. Part of the roof is very steep and the house is surrounded by trees and plants. As a result, access to the roof is not easy. Shon and his men had to carry out the old shingles, and it was not easy to get all the needed supplies onto the roof. Regardless, Shon performed the work for a fair price (I had four estimates) and provided a high quality job. Also, he and his men took care not to damage my trees and plants. Consequently, what little damage was done was a lot less than I had expected. Shon is also very service-oriented. During the estimate he took the time to explain everything I needed to know in detail. He made sure that I understood the differences in shingles, what shingle would work best, etc. This was very refreshing since some of the other roofers who gave me estimates pretty much just handed me a sheet of paper with numbers on it. After the first day he called to ask whether I had any concerns or questions. Throughout the job he consistently checked back whether everything went according to my expectations. After the job was done, he and his men made sure no nails or debris were left behind. In summary, I couldn't be happier.

Shon showed up on time for the estimate as well as the job. Spent more time than we expected repairing the roof.

From the start, this roofing project was successful. Shon Boswell and his employees are honest, competent, hard working people who take pride in their craft and services. Removal of existing shingles was fast and tidy, taking extra care of my gardens. Installation was seamless. Clean up was remarkable. Shon Boswell and Company is a rare breed of quality and professionalism. He is slowly building a stellar reputation as a contractor who distinguishes himself by professionalism, integrity and reliability. Let there be no doubt that this business is well deserving of the highest level of praise. I have not seen the likes of this level of customer service, attention to detail and pride of ownership for many years. There were a few glitches and problems but we worked them out. In the end, I am one fully satisfied customer who will gladly recommend this contractor to my family and friends.

When I called, I spoke with Shon who said he was on the road and would call back when he got to the office. A week later, he still had not called. I called again; this time I got the voice messaging service. I left a message reminding him that he had not returned the previous call. Over a week later my call has not been returned.

Kenny gave me the estimate and also was the person in charge of installing the new shingle roof. He came to my house several times prior to the job being done to make sure that everything was right. He told me exactly what the process would be, and how long it would take. He started and finished when he said he would. It was a very professional job. Shon, the owner of the company also came to my house several times during the job. He was very helpful and professsional. All my questions were answered. The job took two days, and Kenny even finished the job in the rain. Kenny cleaned up after both days and was very conscious of leaving my home as he had found it. I was satisfied throughout the entire process.
