Bill returned my phone call and came when he said he would to give me an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and has pride in his work and company. I decided not to replace my roof but, I would consider using Shon Boswell Roofing in the future.

One thing you will find is that Shane Boswell of Boswell Construction isn't listed on Angie's list or have any site at all. Do your homework and don't rely on these fake paid for reviews on any site.

It went fine. It was one of my many rentals. I wanted to hire him again but he seems to be out of business now.

Bill (estimator) came out the day after I called before a major storm to check out our roof which was over 25 years. I explained it had some leaks that needed immediate attention - one of his roofers took care of it on the spot only a temporary fix. I agreed to the cost for the new roof & flat roof and as long as it didn't leak during the upcoming storm I was willing to wait for them to start the total work. 5 wks later the team arrived on time, pleasant and efficient. They went right to work completing the process in 3 days. NO mess. I would hire them for another roofing project.

Excellent. 3 years ago (initial work) contractor was professional, on time, honest, and true to quote/time estimate. Did quality work. Do not know about price, as did not have time to shop quotes. On the recent repair, phenomenal. A bunch of shingles had fallen off/sliding down from the part of the roof Boswell did the original work. I called them on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and asked them to take a look and repair. Shon Boswell, while I imagine not thrilled about having to do a repair and of hearing the news just before a holiday weekend, was very professional on the phone and promised to have someone out to evaluate as soon as possible. He then called me later in the day to say someone was coming out in 30 minutes to evaluate. When we got home, the repair work was already done. No questions asked. Shon Boswell stood by their warranty/work. And did not, as many contractors do, give the customer a hard time. Absolutely would consider in the future for any other roof work,

We described the problem to Shon and he immediately called his foreman to schedule someone to make the repairs. There was no rain forecasted for the next seven days and Shon assured us he would have someone out to make any necessary repairs before any inclement weather came. They came on Friday and discovered a rivet holding down the flashing on the chimney had come loose and that some caulking around the chimney had cracked. They checked our entire attic and the inside of the house for any water marks and made the repairs. all the work was covered under their 10 year warranty. No cost to us at all. Shon called me to ensure we were pleased with the work and completely satisfied. We absolutely recommend anyone who needs a new roof to hire Shon Contracting. Thanks so much Shon!

They were great! They pushed us back because of the weather. They were out here when he said they would be here. He said they would be here at 7:30 in the morning and they were here at 7:30 in the morning. We had a couple of leaks before they put the roof on. It dumped rain the next day and not a drop leaked through. Bill Baker was as polite and nice as he could be. The original estimate didn't come through on my email for some reason or another. He actually took the time out to come and give me a hard copy. The guys that came out were super nice and cleaned up everything. Everything is neat and clean and they did a great job. I couldn't be happier with them!

Shon was very easy to work with. I appreciated the fact that they used compact equipment, as my property access was not the best.

Everything went well, it took two days to complete. They arrived when scheduled to and cleaned up both days before they left. The workers were very polite and did a good job. They are supposed to send me a paid receipt and warranty papers. I still have not received them to date.

Contacted Shon Boswell roofing to come out and conduct an estimate to replace a roof on a home that I was looking to purchase. Sent an email through the website on June 11th and Bill Baker called early the following morning to schedule a time. I originally scheduled to meet him on the 13th around noon. Shortly after our phone call, I called him back to see if he would be able to come out around lunchtime on the 12th. Bill was very accommodating to the sudden and short notice in change in time and date. Bill was very thorough pointing out the flaws of the shoddy workmanship done by the flipper, including exposed nail heads, poor pitch, double layer of shingles, etc. After a thorough evaluation, Bill was able to estimate a cost to replace the roof and present a shingle sample book to take home. Later that evening, Bill sent a formal proposal. He called the following week to follow upon on our decision and to see if I had any questions. I ended up not purchasing the home, so I cannot comment on workmanship of the employees. However, I will state that Bill was professional in the ways he conducted himself and represented his company.

How'd it go? It didn't. He never showed up on the date that we had agreed on. When I called him, he apologized and said that he got caught up at another job. He should have called me to let me know that, but I still had a good feeling about him and he assured me that he wanted to do the job so I said okay. I understood that an $800 dollar job might not be such a big deal, but I wanted it done in the next few weeks and that if he couldn't do it let me know and I would get someone else. He assured me that he could do it and that he would be in touch. I understand that people get busy and it can be difficult running a business but after several weeks of silence, I called him to see what was going on. I left a message and politely asked that he call me and let me know if he still wanted the job or if I needed to hire someone else. It has been several days and still no reply. He came highly recommended and has a good rating here so I guess I just expected better, although a return phone call really isn't asking for much.

He was a nice man and very good. I didn't end up using him because my husband passed away and I didn't go through with the project

So far, we are happy with their work and would recommend them without hesitation. Shon is a diligent, intelligent young man, who cares about his people (only his people came, no subs), and the quality of work they do. He even guarantees his work for longer than anyone else. It was a pleasure to work with him. We would hire him again, and recommend him without hesitation.

Excellent. Shon and his crew did an great and professional job. They fixed a roof leak that another roofer (who was highly rated on Angie's List) did not fix successfully. Although they seemed a little expensive I got other quotes that were higher. When I saw how much time and work was involved with the pressure washing and how wonderful the roof looks now, I feel that the price was very fair and justified. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Recent rains did cause a delay in the start of the job and progress. That was beyound their control. The first day Bill Baker (sales) and roofing crew were on the job at 7:30 a.m. We were introduced to the crew leader and they began to remove old tile roof.They completed this part of the job in 1 day. The second day Bill and the Owner of Shon Boswell both came reviewed the job site and task ahead. Every day, Every Day crew members were here as earily as 7:15, ready to work and started as soon as they walked up the drive. Areas where roof/wood had to be removed and replaced were completed. All areas of flashing was done, roof NAILED TO CODE (Note: Other companies want to charge for nails. This was included in the contract, as was the replacement of all roof ducks/vents). We also saved because Shon Boswell was the only company who after quoting their price for wood, agreed if we supplied the wood there would only be the labor cost. At the end of each day, even with rains threating or pouring, before leaving the site the crew cleaned up all scrap wood, nails, roofing material, etc. Driveway cleaned. I watched this crew everyday do their job. They all did an excellent job, everyone worked hard, no slugs noted. GREAT CREW. We feel very satisified with the completed job. We have a 10 Year service warranty with Shon Boswell for any leaks issues and 50 year shingles. From what I saw this crew do, the sales and owner support shown I don't think therre will be any issues with the warranty being supported. GREAT JOB< BEST PRICE< TIMELY COMPLETION OF THE JOB BY A QUALITY CREW.

. Excellent experience start to finish. Good advice. Answered numerous questions very patiently and in timely manner. Job completed within time frame requested and in very professional manner. Took about 3 weeks due to some repairs being made at same time. Work crew was very friendly and cooperative.

Played a little phone tag trying to get a quote and hire, but they came out completed the project in one day and have had no issues. Roof looks great and all leaks are gone.

I called for an estimate to have my 1959 leaking tile roof removed and replaced with asphault shingles. Shon arrived personally and walked my roof before providing an estimate. He went over the materials to be used, how long the entire process would take and the steps involved. I got several other estimates from local roofers, and Shon's was not the lowest nor the highest, which is exactly what he told me while he was onsite. I researched his company reviews on Service Magic(I don't believe there were any reviews on Angie's at the time) and found him to be highly rated. One thing I appreciated was that he did not use sales tactics like good/better/best pricing based on materials used, like the other roofing estimates I received. He provided one price and promised quality materials and workmanship, no hard sale, no call to action crap like "if you sign today we'll give you a discount". I appreciated his honesty and I asked for references and he gladly provided them to me. The color of tile I chose was also used on a job he recently completed and he provided the home address for me to take a look at the finished product.The workers were professional and Shon oversaw the entire job that took 2 days to complete. They cleaned the work area thoroughly and I never found one stray nail on my property. It has been just over a year now and my roof still looks like it was installed yesterday! I would highly recommend Shon to anyone. Always remember that you get what you pay for, and this guy is worth every penny...neat, orderly, and fair. See my before and after photos.

I left phone message however they never returned my call so did not use them. I did not want to rate them overall an F as they might be great if they were responsive however your system requires A-F rating with no option for N/A.

The Back porch had old Termite damage that required an inventive and difficult technique to save the porch while repairing the damage. As a result , a perstint and worsening porch leak submitted to a well orchestrated use of tool ,thought,and tenacity. The severity of the problem wasn't properly ascertainable or repairable without a roof tear down /re roof anyway,so it was now ir never. A well thought out and implemented support for the existing Porch Standing Seam Roof , and equally well performed excision of the bad wood while saving the original porch receiver channel ..came off reasonably quickly and with very good results . The result was virtually transparent to general observation and avoided both further damage and the -as quoted by several other estimates - total tear down and replacement of the entire back porch roof ! The demonstration of precision and conservation was a real help to this retired home owner.

We discovered a leak in our roof after a heavy rain. We have a home warranty company, who was willing to work with us, but we had to get an estimate and fill out additional paperwork before approval. Shon came out and took a look, he filled out all the additional paperwork and waited patiently while the HWC made their decision. The day it was approved we scheduled the work. He and his crew came out and fixed the roof quickly an professionally. They even found another issue on the roof and repaired it at the same time.

He was very pleasant and did a great job. The quote was accurate.
