Description of Work: Leak detection, took 2 tries but they found the source of the leak (dishwasher drain). First tech came on 9/2 and couldn't find the source of a leak which caused water to show up in our kitchen laminate flooring. He advised that another tech would come on 9/6 with additional equipment to trace leak. This was accomplished on 9/6 and we are currently working with our insurance company to affect repairs to the flooring.

They not only dried out my living room, found and destroyed mold in my walls and flooring, repaired the damaged baseboards, drywall, and even painted.

Description of Work: I had water leaking through my floor tile. IFL looked for the source of the leak by checking the bathroom pipes, shower and checked the Pressure in my pipes to rule out a pin hole leak in my pipe. The leak was ruled as being ground water Seeping in. They also found the source of my roof leak which the roofers were not able to detect. They seemed very knowledgeable. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: I was referred to I Find Leaks by a plumber. My home had a water leak somewhere, evidenced by a higher than usual water bill and the sound of water flowing through the pipes, even when all fixtures were turned off. There was no physical sign of leaking water anywhere in my home, so the source of the leak was not readily apparent. The plumber suspected the leak was somewhere in the slab foundation, and that's why IFL was referred to me. They were to find the leak, open up the concrete foundation, and put a temporary fix on the leak. Dave from IFL came to my house and, within about 20 minutes, told me it was my lucky day because he isolated the problem to one of my toilets, most likely the fill valve. The leak was not one that you could hear or see when looking inside the toilet tank, but through the process of shutting fixtures off and turning them back on, while checking the water meter, he found this problem. He did this checking of fixtures before going through the process of testing the floors/walls for the suspected under-the-floor leak. He could have just assumed that, because the plumber had already been there, that he didn't need to check the fixtures. But he didn't go with that assumption, and he saved me time and money. I was a little disappointed that the plumber did not find this problem, but that was diminished by the relief that I felt when Dave told me the leak was not under my floor and the fix would be a lot less expensive than I thought.

Description of Work: Our experience with IDL Construction because of a flood we had in our downstairs bathroom, that resulted in destruction of our family room hard wood floor, much of the drywall was damaged in the bathroom and family room and there was damage to all the baseboards in a bathroom, laundry room, family room and utility closets. IDL Construction's estimator worked with our insurance company (through its adjuster) to render of "scope of work" that would cover the repairs necessary to put back our living spaces to our satisfcation, within the costs that were determined by the insurance company. From begnning to completion of the project, IDL Construction's Manager, Jack "Z," was our point of contact. He managed all aspects of the project. Every piece of the upcoming construction puzzle was laid out clearly and understandably, so we would know what to expect and in what order the construction would be taking place. No questions were left unanswered. We were guided toward selections of wood flooring, paint choices and the work that needed done, within the "budget" of our insurance claim. Jack then lined up the gathering of materials and set a schedule in motion. (one that was adhered to without exception until the project was finished) The most pleasant surprise of all is that IDL Construction's staff and laborers were so in tune with our unpleasant experience (the flood) and how it had affected our life situation (walls very vigilent.

Description of Work: Came out on a Saturday when we found water underneath our hardwood floors. Did a total check of all plumbing and determined shower pan leak.

Description of Work: They came after a pipe burst in my condo. They ripped up the floor and removed the baseboards, and quickly brought in five fans to prevent mildew.
