this was the second service from Bob Hypes and went perfectly as did the first service which was what we thought was a stoppage in the kitchen drain but which on carefull search by crew turned out to be unconnected to sewerage drain and had been draining the sink water under the terrazzo flooring of the house since probably 1965. They managed to place a new drain line under the length of a entire room and connect with the main drain line. All in one day with no signs of the repairs.. Amazing!!

I am very satisfied. They showed up on time and were able to take care ot the problem as well as fixing a couple of other small problems I had with the kitchen and bathroom faucets by making adjustments for me. I would highly recommend Bob Hyps Plumbing as they were punctual, had the proper parts needed to complete the job and were very professional and congenial.

Max closed the drain and then released the remainig water from the filter drain. Bob did say, to do it again and make sure the filter lines were clear of any air/water. When he came back with the invoice, he said the charge is normally $110 but due to the job the charge is $85. I said, thank God, the bubbly sound came back because I would have paid $85 and still have had the problem. I will never call Bob Hyps Plumbing again. I know it is Bob's company which he probably inherited from his father due to the company in business since 1922. But I question his qualifications as a plumber. Max was the person who figured it out. Bob or the office clerk never called to say he would be late. He left another job so he could go to my house which he was 55 minutes late. I just felt he was not at another home site. If I had been thr other homeowner, I would have been real upset, if he left me and came back 2 hrs. later. It's a thumbs down for me.

Bathroom tiles were becoming loose due to a leak under the toilet. Prior plumber used only one wax ring. Bob Hype workers removed the toilet , replaced the one wax ring with three wax rings and reset the toilet. They were professional, neat and efficient. We would use them again and would highly recommend them.

The service was good. The work took a couple of days to get the part. He kept me up to date on everything. They did a good job overall.

We called Bob on suggestion of our neighbor after another plumber - Pampering Plumber- which we got off Angie's List failed to complete the job and refused to come back unless we paid them all over again. Bob and his assistant were super prompt and discovered that the clog was under the sink, rather than in line between house and city line. They snaked the drain to the city line anyway to be sure all was clear and guaranteed their work for 7 days. Plus, they charged $70 less than the previous plumber who didn't clear the drain. We won't hesitate to call Bob again!

CONSUMER BEWARE ! Used the services Of Bob Hyps plumbing company based totally on Angie's List recommendations. Bob was called to replace the internal components of three toilets (they were running at all hours of the day and night) and repair a leaky faucet in the bathroom and the kitchen faucet. He sent two men to our house on Friday afternoon. They supposedly fixed all the toilets but told us the faucet catridges would need to be ordered and they would call us when they were in. One hour after they left, one of the toilets began to run again (on it's own). We called Bob back and asked for them to fix the leaky toilet since we already paid him $228. He re-sent his two men on Monday to repair the toilet. Two hours after they left the toilet began to run again. The following day Bob himself came out and gave it a shot to fix the toilet. After he left it began to run again. This went on for six straight days where they would return to attempt fixing the toilet. Finally it was determined the following Saturday, after listening to a running toilet every night for 7 straight days, Bob said we would need to replace the entire tank. Due to our incredible frustration we agreed at cost of approximately $275.....after we already paid him $ 228. Toilet was finally fixed. Here's where a bad situation got worse. We asked the owner, Bob Hyps about the two faucets that were still dripping since we never back from him or his men as they promised. He said that he would personally order the new cartridges at $25 each (needed 4 of them) and when they come in in about two to three days he himself would come back to repair the two faucets at $100 plus labor. That was three weeks ago. We haven't heard a peep out of him. We greatly appreciate his frustration at taking 6 attempts to repair a toilet (at our expense) but not following through with repairing our two faucets when the owner himself said he would take care of coming back and repair them (at our expense), is a strange & horrible way of conducting business.

Bob was wonderful and incredibly responsive. I noticed the leak on Sunday afternoon (of course). I called and Bob answered the telephone. He instructedme on what to do and told me that he would contact and schedule the leak detection company for Monday morning. Bob called a couole of times that afternoon to update me on his contact with the leak detection company. The leak detection company arrived on monday and located the leak under my swim spa. Bob arrived shortly thereafter with a plan to repipe around the pool. Work was completed the next day because it was a big project. Bob called during and after project to keep me posted. He ran into on small snag but called me and he worked around it. Leak is gone! Fabulous Service!

, I called one day & they arrived the next, 30 minutes early, after calling for O.K. After pleasant intros,they started work.Both men were very friendly, even towards my dog! I inspected the finished work, it was perfect. They put in caulking, without being asked. I mentioned some other work that I needed done & I was told what they could do, & what needed a contractor for. I was even given the name of a contractor that they would recommend. I would use them again, without reservation.They left the job neat & clean. ..

Bob and his partner Max are delightful. Bob and Max are always there for me and respond quickly for emergencies. Their sense of humor always make me laugh. | A hot water heater in one of our apt rental was not working. Called bob and max and they were there in 1 hour. Heater was very old and they replaced the heating element so it works great again. While there Max heard water running under ground. We had a broken water pope burst.. I was thrilled they were there to repair it. | I have been using Bob Hypes for many years for my rebar property's and my own home. I would think of using no one else.

I contacted them by phone thinking I may need whole house replumb. The owner (on phone) asked if I would be around in the next 90 min. Yes. He would send one of his teams to investigate. That day. Max listened to what I was experiencing and started to invesigate. Found sediment clogging/slowing the flow. Replaced supply hose and a valve in kitchen and bath and everything worked better than when I moved in 7 years ago. Max could have agreed with my earlier assessment and set up for the replumb, but taking the time to investigate corrected the problem for minimal cost. A very happy camper here.

The sewer line was replaced and the other issues were fixed as well. Bob was prompt and courteous as was his partner. The work site was left clean everything was done to my satisfaction. I also felt the price was fair because of the difficulty involved in the project. I was not at the site when Bob did the work but a neighbor told me he was there working for a day and a half and was busy the whole time.

I called him on New Years Eve, and he came out the very next day. Everything he does, he does well. Really personable, friendly, and has a great sense of humor.

After getting turned down by 3 other plumbers this morning, Bob Hyps said they could be there by late morning and they were, calling before they came. Two young men, very professional, came and did the job. I talked to the head one quite a bit and he was very knowledgeable. They got right to work and did the job and everything got rooted out and was working once again. I always use Angie's List and once again, was not disappointed and happy with the service. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

Installed an LG Dishwasher. They did an excellent job with the tight fit and extra hose that was needed. We always use them for our plumbing needs. Bob and Max are great guys.

Bob and his assistant Max were very pleasant and professional and I would definitely call them again!

I called Bob Hyps this morning, he arrived here around 4 p.m. and was finished by 4:45 p.m. Whenever I have a plumbing problem I call him. If he's able to come same day he certainly will. His happy and polite and treats people with respect.

Used Bob Hyps as my regular plumber. Bob is professional, prompt and efficient. Bob always calls ahead and is always on time. Bob and his assistant Max are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He called ahead as usual and arrived on time and quickly finished the job. I've used him for regular work and emergencies and his rates are very fair. Obviously will use Bob and Max again as i don't believe there is a finer plumber in the area.

Came out on a Saturday within an hour to stop the leak that was flooding the yard. Tried to patch it, but another leak came up at another place, so they turned off the water till they could replace the line. Then came back on Monday and repaired the line for the quoted price. They did not charge for the Saturday visit to try to patch the line!

It went very well. Bob and Max are both pleasant and professional.

I got this company from Angie's List and they came out and give me a quote to do some plumbing work. They did the work and they didn't charge me which was nice. It turned out to be a bigger project. So, they did the smaller project for free and gave me a quote on the other project and most likely I will use them for the other project. So, they're very smart.

Bob Hyps Plumbing is the only plumber I use. I have several rental properties and have used Bob for all my plumbing needs. Bob is very responsive and the work has always been done for a fair price. I am very happy with Bob's work and would highly recommend him.

All went fine. I have used Bob Hyps before and was very satisfied. He comes when he says and calls before he comes, he is very personable and his partner is very nice as well. They had to go for a part they didn't have on hand and I figured that was going to cost me a lot in their time. But he doesn't over charge and I thought the bill was reasonable and much lower than I would have paid to someone else.

Great service. Bob and his helper are great. Highly recommended.
