This company / team is exceptional in their work, punctionality, professionalism and overall cost benefit. We will always call Bob Hyps for any plumbing updates / repairs needed in the future

Description of Work: Secured garbage disposal connection, rerouted drain line, installed drain pan under washing machine. Max was a great guy, knew his job, fast and effecient,wouldn't hesitate to call him again

Description of Work: Removed and replaced old under kitchen sink water supply valves, replaced valve in bathtub and removed blockage in sewer line.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my ceiling and did not know where it was coming from. Bob came to my place on christmas eve, not once but twice. once to investigate the leak and a second time to access the unit above me to find the source. He did not charge me a trip fee, which is usually 67$ and was on time. He called my to let me know he was on the way and returned all callas super fast! Will use them again if I need them.

Description of Work: I appreciate responsiveness. It's Sunday afternoon and laundry forces the sewer to back up into the bathroom and garage. This is the third time I've used Bob Hyps. Each time he has come and accomplished the job to my satisfaction. Today, he was here within 2 hours of being called. I haven't had this kind of response from any other plumber I've called. Most of them say they're booked for a week or working on something else. Each time Bob has found time to get here and help me. Though I don't want any more problems, if I have them I'll call him.

Description of Work: Had a bathroom that was leaking and everything need to be torn out and rebuilt. Bob Hyps plumbing did the job perfectly. This is a customer service oriented business. The are friendly, professional, reliable and mostly - punctual. They call you and keep you informed. Bob is out at my house again today doing another job. He is now my go to guy. Thanks to Bob and Max (I think that was his name).

Description of Work: We had an enormous water bill (more than 3 times normal) We called Bob to inspect our house for any leaks. He came out , inspected our house and ran a test with our meter to see if we had an invisible leak... all negative. Bob would not charge for these trips as there was no repair work required. Description of Work: I had Bob come a couple of weeks ago and they did a fine job. I had him come on 12/3/12 because the toilet was clogged. They came right away and fixed the problem and did not charge me for a visit but did charge to unclog it,. am very satisfied with their work and pleasent demeanor.

Description of Work: We had a new dishwasher installed where none had been. The job was more complicated and needed an extra part. We were happy to pay for the extra part as the quote had obviously been low. the job was done very well by two professional, courteous plumbers. Bob actually stopped by to make sure everything went well. The next day the dishwasher wouldn't work. Samsung said it was the installation so I called Bob back. It turned out to be the dishwasher because a small amount of water had tripped the water sensor (safety feature) and shut it off. As soon as the machine was dry it worked perfectly. Too bad Samsung couldn't tell us that !

Description of Work: Bob & Max were right on time. They discussed what needed to be done & went right to work. They had to knock a hole into a concrete wall in the garage and fix a leak in the pipe. When they finished they cleaned up the area. I was pleased with their service and would hire them again.

Description of Work: I called Bob to repair 2 of my toilets. He made an adjustment which fixed the first one, and didn't charge me anything. He got an estimate for a part on the second one, but we were able to get the part cheaper through the maintenance department in our condo building. I offered to pay Bob the trip charge for the repair on the first toilet, and he declined, so the entire service was free. I would definately use him again.

Description of Work: My water softener started leaking in the morning and I called Bob in the afternoon. He tried to help me trouble shoot over the phone but it did not work. He showed up an hour and a half later, discovered that the softener was shot, took it apart, disposed of it and even cleaned the driveway where the contents had dumped everywhere. He did a fabulous job and didn't charge the weekend fee because I had used Angie's List. I will certainly use him again for some bathroom piping that needs to be fixed.

Description of Work: I can't express my appreciation enough for the professional courteous service recd from both Bob and Max. I thought my water heater had leaked overnight and when Max came to check it out to replace it, he gave me a totally honest assessment that it was NOT the water heater but possibly a roof leak or other leak issue, unrelated to plumbing. He stayed more than 1/2 hr to rule out all possible plumbing issues and wouldn't charge me for a service call!!! Total exception to the greedy, dishonest business rule of thumb these days. Will definitely call upon this company in the future should a real plumbing need arise!!! Highly recommended!!

Description of Work: Called Bob Hyps plumbing on Sunday of the Memorial Day weekend because drains and toliets backing up throughout house. Bob and Max showed up in about an hour to address problem. They went to work quickly to unclog main drain. Whithin a very short time the drains were clear and we were back in buainess. We were very grateful to them for responding to this problem on a holiday weekend. Bob and Max were not only very freindly and professional, but in addition, Bob issued a 7 day warranty on his work. Also felt price was definitly in line under the circumstances.

Description of Work: The first time I contacted this company, they came to my home quickly and addressed every issue I had. I had a number of minor problems that needed to be addressed. They were very nice, professional, reasonably priced, and fixed the problems. The second time I called them it was to address what appreared to be chronic flooding problem in the master bedroom that came from the master bathroom. We did not discover the problem until we had pulled up the carpeting in the bedroom to replace it with new carpeting. Bob and his assistant came and spent a lot of time trying to diagnose where the problem initiated from, and spent a good amount of time fixing it. Thankfully, there has been no more water leaking in my bedroom, and we are ready to put down the new carpeting. My experience has been a very positive one.

Description of Work: I was really in a jam on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The johnny got stopped up and that was a problem that could not wait! First thing to do was to go on Angie's List to find a plumber with good reports who was available on short notice on a Sunday. Found the name of Bob Hyps who answered the phone promptly, and arranged a time to come. (Which was within a couple of hours, in between rainy patches.) He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it promptly. What a nice man. He and his assistant were very prompt and capable and also very pleasant. Now I know exactly the person to call whenever I need plumbing services again.

This time we needed new appliances installed. Bob came promptly and finished the jobs quickly. We are always happy to see Bob and his helper arrive. Description of Work: Mr. Hyps was right on time and very courteous. I had a problem with my garbage disposal, which I was on the verge of just taking out. He fixed the disposal and only charged me for half of the service charge. I will recommend him to my friends and family and use him again.
