Just finished working with Bob and his apprentice David. I have to say, I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!!!!!!!! Both Bob and David are the most professional, kindest, and attentive tradesmen I have had the pleasure of working with to date. Bob was extremely attentive to my needs from my first phone call to him (in a panic) and treated me with care and respect. The job took multiple trips and a coupe of days to complete, but Bob made sure to remain in constant contact with me, and followed through on everything he stated he would. In a situation that was such a shock and set back for myself, Bob and David were the perfect solution and their work ethic and values were truly appreciated. I have already requested them to come back next week to help me with the installation of a new faucet. If you're looking for a plumber with integrity and work ethic, look no further!!!

Bob is a very experienced plumber and a truly nice guy, which is a great combination in this day and age. He came out next day to take a look and even rearranged his day to get my toilet operational again all while coming in under budget. The work was done quickly and with great craftsmanship. No more leaky rocking toilet!!!!

These guys are great they even took photos of their work (from the crawlspace) and gave me copies. Very quick and responsive.

They came out and not only did they change the flange on the toilet, they caulked around it & reconnected bolts,replaced the ring on another toilet as well caulked around it. Fantastic job, courteous, prompt response. They blew all other plumbers out of the race! I HIGHLY recommend!

CALLED BOB AT 8AM, I TOLD HIM MY PROBLEM HE SAID HE COULD BE AT THE HOUSE ON THE SAME DAY. I ASKED THAT THEY CALL ME WHEN THEY WERE ON THE WAY SO I COULD LEAVE WORK AND GET HOME TO MEET THEM. I RECIEVED A CALL FROM MAX AT 12:50PM AND MET HIM. HE WAS ACTUALLY THERE BEFORE ME. VERY PERSONABLE AND WELL MANNERED. HAD MY TOILET UNCLOGGED AND GONE WITHIN 30 MINUTES. NO SIGN OF ANYONE BEING IN THE BATHROOM AS THEY CLEANED UP AND LEFT NO MESS. NOT THAT I WANT ANOTHER PLUMMING PROBLEM, BUT IF I DO I WOULD DEFINITLY CALL BOB.

Hello, we live in Kenwood in St. Petersburg. We recently had a *plumber* do an enormous amount of work. Problem was, he was not a licensed plumber (although he puts himself out that way). And he did a poor job on so many levels. So that's our fault for not checking further and we learned a valuable lesson. Then we went and hired Bob Hypes, who not only is licensed but is exceptionally nice and professional. He fixed all our issues (that the other *plumber* said could not be fixed without ripping the house apart). And all for a great price! I am very tough on contractors. I expect professionalism on every level. And that's what I got with Bob. We will definitely be using him again.

He has weekend hours and extended hours which was wonderful for those of us that are working during regular business hours. He was very professional and thorough. I was able to schedule time quickly just before guests were due to arrive. Excellent service1

He quoted us a price of $110.00. When the two men came out, they didn't have the tool to fix the toilet, so they had to go back out. They were gone 20 minutes to get the tool, once they came back they fixed the toilet in a short time. For the sink in the kitchen, all he (the Plumber who was sent out) did was run a bit of water and announce that he would need to go up on the roof. Before he could go up to the roof, he said it would be $275.00, after we had been quoted $110.00 by Bob. My husband protested, and he quickly dropped the price to $250.00. Then he asked us twice did we agree to the $250 price. We agreed, only because he was already here, and any other plumber would charge a service fee, on top of the price for the work. The plumber then went up on the roof. It took less then 15 minutes, and went he finished, we paid him the $250. We never received an explanation for the price. I called the next day about the price that we were quoted, and the price that we where charged. I think he talked to the two plumbers that he had come out, because when he called me back, he kept harping on the price. He was very rude to me. He just kept saying "Didn't the plumber tell you $250 before he started?" The men weren't even here one hour total, they were only here for 40 minutes. I called another plumber in our area, just to find out what he charged for an hour's work. That plumber charged 181 for an hour. I know that we live in a nice neighborhood, and that we are elderly, and I believe he was over charging us. When I told him that, he hung up on me! Now, when I run a lot of water in my sink, it takes it a while to go down. I'm not satisfied at all, especially with that price. But I will not call him back, because I do not want this plumbing service again. I would never hire him ever again, and I would never recommend him to my neighbors.

The services they did was very fine. They are convenient for us so I would use them again. They are very prompt and courteous.

It went well, Bob is very friendly and he keeps you well informed. I had the one issue with one of plumbers helpers- he had a little bit of a bad attitude and I heard him being grumpy. The rest of the staff was very commendable, had a favorable attitude, as well as they all kept me well informed and did an excellent job.

The two young men who did the work were very polite, professional, and hard-working. They worked well together as a team. Bob scheduled a day for each job and called me in the morning to give me an approximate time of arrival. He also called shortly before he arrived to advise me he was on his way. Bob's prices were very fair and I definitely got my money's worth. I would certainly recommend this company.

Max and asst did a great and thorough job. They arrived timely, they were clean and courteous, and they fixed the problem. What more could you ask for?

We were having a horrible experience with restoration contractor. Bob and Max were there each time we called, helping us sort things out and do plumbing work that we are confident is done correctly. Their customer service is superb.

Bob came the day before to review what needed to be done. Told us we would be there Thursday afternoon and as promised, his team was there. They are honest, pleasant, efficient and reasonably priced. I have been using Bob Hyps for years and will continue to do so.

I called Bob this morning, and he said someone would call around noon today. At 11:45am, Max called to say they were on their way and should be here in about 10 minutes. Max and Cameron arrived promptly and worked for about 1/2 hour, cleaning the shower drain of debris and also fixing the slow-running hot water faucet in the bathroom sink. I was concerned that Max might leave dirty boot-prints on the bathroom floor after standing in the shower, but he came prepared with a towel to wipe his soles on when he stepped out. I was extremely pleased by their responsiveness and professionalism. I definitely will call them again for any of my plumbing needs.

Smiling, personable, English speaking young man arrived on time, even re-arranged his afternoon because he knew I had no working toilets. He needed to use his long snake device from the roof. Both toilets are working now. Most pleasant plumber that's ever worked for me, I now am making them my family plumber and will always call them first.

It could not have gone any better. The service was scheduled for 11:00AM, and they arrived at 11:00AM on the dot. This generally does not happen in that industry. Max and his employee were extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They checked out our issue and came to a diagnosis in a timely fashion. We were charged for the service call (less than $100), shook hands, and we parted ways. We will certainly be using Bob Hyps Plumbing in the future.

We got off to a rocky start as Bob was not able to keep his appointment - I fell through a crack, but my job was not urgent and more pressing plumbing problems apparently came up the day he was to come to my house. He was very apologetic and promised his associate, Max, would be at my house at 10AM Saturday - and he was. Max did a great job - working in some very cramped spaces. It took longer than expected as some of my old faucet had to be cut away - a last resort. I was very pleased with the work and the price was more than reasonable for the time and effort involved. This is my second time using Bob Hyps Plumbing and I certainly will use them again if I have other plumbing needs.
