They were very professional and very efficient. They offered suggestions to try and give us some ideas of how we could go with the fencing. They gave us pretty good suggestions for us. I would use their service in the future.

Really nice experience from beginning to end. To accomodate our schedule and our sense of urgency of a quality fence being installed asap (with an unexpected new puppy), Eric not only gave us a quick bid turnaround, he installed the fence in a timely manner and matched it perfectly with our current fence. What he promised, he did. Made us feel like the we comes first.

Great company to work with. We loved that the owner, Eric, not only is the person who sold us the fence but he was also part of the team that installed it. Very responsive in helping us pick the fence design, get a price quote quickly and came when he said he would come to show us samples and do the installation! Would be glad to provide a reference for this company. Our fence looks great! We and the neighbors love it!

They torn out the old fence and gate and had the new one up in one day. The fence looks great.

Eric, the owner, came to give us the estimate. He was impressive and knowledgeable. It was a close choice between this company and the one I went with. My choice ultimately came down to scheduling. Their price was on par with the other estimate I received.

It was a very nice job. They came and gave us an estmate and ordered the fence because we want black coated. They told us when they would be here and they were on time. We have a pretty big yard and we wanted it to moved out to our property line so there was a little more work. They did a great job and finished it all in one day.

From day one from when Eric provided an estimate to completion, he did what he said he would do. He was extremely responsive with all the email communication to figure out how we would put a gate in the driveway. Most other contractors were not....some never even got back to us with an estimate. His pricing was $1000 cheaper than anybody else we received an estimate from. We believe that the Cypress wouldn't warp compared to pressure treated fencing and hold up better over time. So we went ahead and had Eric install Cypress fending and we are really enjoying our privacy. Seems like we gained another yard now that it is private around the allies. We can't thank Eric enough and his team. They even stayed in the rain to finish the job which was about 150' foot of fence installed all in ONE day. He also helped us figure out the driveway gate and provided the hardware for us to build and install it ourselves. Great Job A1-Fence!

They were okay. There were three gentlemen who came out to do the work. The whole project took about six hours. They were nice and pleasant. When they came out the first time they ordered the wrong size fence, which pushed the project back and every time he came out he forgot his credit card machine. When they made the appointment, they did not tell us a time to come out just a day, which was rather inconvenient. They came out the second time, did the work, and made sure to clean up after themselves. The only other problem that we ran into was that they took the permit, so my homeowners association came around and was accusing us of installing a fence without a permit. It would have been nice to have avoided that, by just having the permit at my home. The price was great. They were about eight hundred dollars cheaper than the other companies I got estimates from. The fence looks good.

A-1 Fence was on time for their appointment for a fence quote and were professional and friendly. After getting two other quotes and checking Angie's List we went with A-1 Fence. They were very professional and helpful over the phone. The workers arrived on time, were friendly, worked quickly, and did a great job. The new fence looks great!

Reply to company: They never told me that warping of the pressure treated wood was not covered under warranty. I looked at the warranty and it is doesn?t specifically say that. The salesman never told me this. I?ve had other pressure treated wood fences that have never warped. If she couldn?t have made it out then she could have at least called me and set something up for the future. She basically just ignored my call. This was just really unprofessional.

They installed a fence on one side of my house.

My initial call was promptly returned and the estimate was given at my convenience since I return home from work after usual business hours. The salesman was very professional and made suggestions and recommendations at my request. I never felt pressured or obligated. He actually saved me money by asking me if I would like to re-use the old fence along with the new. This saved me over $300. My old fence was connected to an arbor with rose bushes on either side. I didn't want to lose the arbor, but knew it was a possibility since it was nailed into the gateposts of the fence. The salesman said they would try to preserve the arbor but since it was being held up by the fence, there was a big possibility that the arbor would be unstable and lean. If this was the case, the salesman said that they would take it down and haul it away. I agreed to this arrangement. When I returned home the day the fence was installed, I found a beautiful new fence AND they saved my arbor! I am more than satisfied! I would use this company and recommend them to my friends.

The salesman was very informative and gave a detailed description as to what my choices were, along with many samples to view. He listened to what my needs were and explained what my options were. I never felt pressured during the process. He also spent the time going over my boundary survey to be sure there would not be a dispute with my neighbors concerning property lines. On both sides of my property I wanted the fence to face finish side in toward me (since I was paying for the fence). He explained the process for doing that and i received permission from both neighbors. I called our zoning board to be sure he was correct and he was. Of course, the alley had to have the finished side out and that was done. (I received other estimates from fence companies who refused to do anything but finished side out, regardless of my neighbors agreement.) The job was done within one week of signing an agreement to use the company and was finished in one day. They did a wonderful job and it looks better than I anticipated. They even did some extra finishes that I was not expecting. It's a beautiful fence. I would recommend them hands down to any competitor.

We requested them to match our neighbors existing fence so it would flow nicely throughout the neighborhood which they did. They also installed a gate which still works and is unusual because gates often sag after some time. Their prices were right and we were pleased

We were very pleased with the courtesy and promptness of sales rep. He was very thorough in describing the anticipated work and the choices of materials. We were to prune bushes for clearance, but weren't sure how much to prune. When the installation was moved up a few days, the crew were gracious about completing the pruning so they could get the fence installed that day. It took a full day to remove old fence and install new one. Our crew was very experienced in their job and clean up was excellent. We were very pleased!

We got several estimates and they were not cheap but we decided to use them and we were happy with the job.

Good price. Excellent work. (Completed in one day.) Very nice to deal with. Estimate precise. Plan to have them do the next project in the near future.

I called and they set up the appointment and came when they were supposed to. The sales rep was very nice and explained everything and left me an estimate the same day. I went with another company only because they were less expensive by a few hundred dollars.

I took 3 bids, and went with the middle bid (A-1). They were very good and did a little more than the contract was for. I could have upgraded to pressure-treated wood, but I did not know enough at the time to ask, and no one educated me on that. I purchased Cyprus.

HE RESPOND QUICKLY TO OUR CALL FOR AND ESTIMATE. WORKS VERY ORGANIZED AND TAKE CARE OF ALL THE DETAILS. TAKE TIME UNTIL EVERY THING LOOKS PERFECT. THEY CLEAN UP AS HE WENT. ALSO THE MATERIALS WERE HERE BY THE TIME HE PROMISED. ALSO EXCELLENT MATERIALS USED. VERY NICE TO WORK WITH HIM. VERY DEDICATED, DETAILED, RESPONSIBLE COURTEOUS AND PLEASANT.

I had to make sure the fence was secure before the kids next door got home. They put in fast drying cement with stones to make sure it would be dry. They charged a lot less than other companies had quoted me.

It was a very good experience. Only a few companies would even consider doing job with a 16 foot rolling gate, and of the few that did, A-1 gave the best estimate, by far. None of the fence companies on Angie's List would do it, and A-1 wasn't on the list at the time. I gambled on them and didn't regret it. The salesman, Mark, was very knowledgable, the workers were very polite, quick, and cleaned up afterward. The owner, Ray, came out himself the next day with one other guy, and they installed the gate. Very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient guys, all around. I didn't realize how expensive the rolling gate would be, but A-1 was much less expensive than the other quotes.

They submitted a proposal for a fencing project, but I thought it was too expensive for the quality of the products they proposed using.
