Description of Work: Our dryer died and we wanted it fixed but the circuit board was fried. The repairman said this was due to lightning but in fact the duct was clogged. We nearly destroyed a new drier because he failed to notice this and warn us.

Description of Work: He asked me a few questions on the phone. I told him the symptoms of my washing machine, & the sound it was making. Asked me what kind of washing machine I had, & he knew what part to bring the next day, & fixed. Very happy with his service.

Description of Work: Needed service on an icemaker on the GE side-by-side only 2.5 years old. He was very professional, called before he arrived to make sure we would be home. Diagnosed the problem right away. Needed a new icemaker (they sure don't make things to last anymore!). Had one on truck. In and out in 40 minutes, with very good explanations. If your refrigerator, stove or dishwasher is out of warranty, he is the guy to call. He used to work for GE authorized service years ago. Don't spend the extra money, if you don't need to. He is less expensive and his parts are better than authorized service. Great find on Angie's List!

Description of Work: Clothes dryer was not drying and heating up the laundry room. The fellow came on fairly short notice and worked to clean up the dryer lent and air ventilation as well as underneath. It required disassembly and reassembly which would have caused a lot of frustration for me. The dryer has worked fine since and I thought his price was reasonable for what he did.
