We compared this bid to two others. They were all close in costs, but varied slightly on what they wanted to do with duct work. We went with Powell because they provided a 10 year warranty on parts and labor. The installers were polite and professional and the system has worked great.

We were very happy from start to finish.
Description of Work: We were having trouble with the pan under the AC filling up. We called the installer who indicated it might be a dirty filter (we change it often) or a clog. Not happy with that response we sought recommendations for other HVAC companies and decided to called Powell. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive - but on basis of recommendations, we gave them a try. We were very impressed first with company staff and then with the technician - he identified the problem and suggested a solution, and conducted a very thorough cleaning and maintenance inspection. We were very satisfied with all aspects of our interaction with Powell and would highly recommend them.

I was not happy with their services at all. I found out afterwards that they over charged me by about $2,000. The unit they put in is too large. It builds up moisture and leaks through the ceiling. I ended up having mold problems because of this. The unit does not cycle either. I was told by another company that it should be. They did not show up on time and it took 2 days for the work to be done. I will not be using them again.
Description of Work: I had a new unit installed for my 2200 square foot home. They removed the old unit and installed a couple more vents as well.
