Great. Plumber arrived at appointment on schedule. He worked diligently and efficiently throughout entire repair.

I was not that happy with that service. The whole thing was rather confusing to me. The first service came out and worked on three toilets. They only charged me $100. I thought that was reasonable. The issue was the flapper on one. The guy spent like an hour working on re-doing one toilet. I didn't understand what was going on. It seemed ridiculous. A flapper supposed to be easy to fix. They charge me another $100 to come back later to fix the flapper in the toilet upstairs. A $100 for one flapper was just ridiculous. They're supposed to be easy to change, I thought. Why do they charge so much for a flapper? I needed it fix because it was running. I thought they were something more than that. I thought they were going to replace the mechanism inside. They did not do that. They were prompt and timely. They talked to me about what they were going to do. I'm still hearing the toilet run upstairs. I don't think they got done what needed to be done.

I had a renovation gone wrong by another (non-Angie's List) contractor who had improprerly run a cheap plastic line from my copper water supply through the ceiling and to my new refrigerator on the opposite wall with inadequate "couplings" as well. Unfortunately, it burst in short order and caused close to 10K in water damage to my home. R. Carr Plumbing had great references on Angie's List and when I called for a free estimate, I was equally impressed by the professionalism and punctuality of Gregg. He emailed me with the estimate and his findings which I needed for the insurance company. Gregg also promptly answered some of my later questions via email, and then waited for the insurance process to proceed. Both Gregg and another plumber, Joe, came to my home exactly the time they stated and proceeded to work efficiently and professionally. This was not an easy job as it was in a hot, cramped area in the attic near the soffit, plus other lines were run into the small opening they had to use. As asked, they saved the defective lines for me to send to my insurance company and explained why they failed. In fact, they identified and replaced another connection to my garbage disposal the prior company had installed in like manner, but had not yet failed. I was quite impressed with both of them as well as Jan, who coordinated the work from the office. They are not only skilled and professional, they are darn nice people to work with.

This was completed in half a day and they were very prompt. I would call them again in a heartbeat. I feel the price was reasonable.

We could not shut off the water and had to get the city water department come out and shut down the water to the house. It still was running so again they came to shut it down. After calling the company and telling them about the emergency , they dispatched the plumber who arrived within an hour. At first the lady said it could be a couple hours, but she called back to tell us that she had found a available plumber who would be there shortly. When the plumber got here, he was not happy that the water was still running and said he couldn't fix the leak until it was off. We told him the water company had been here twice, so he went outside and was finally able to shut it down using a lot of force. He had to work in cramped quarters but managed to do the plumbing job. We were left with the clean-up, which is fine because they are paid by the hour. We also chose to reconnect the sink ourselves.

R. Carr's plumber, Greg, came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate on multiple plumbing jobs, including changing shower fixtures, re-lining a shower floor, and other items. They were prompt, professional, and reliable. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Carr was very slow to answer emails and did not want to cooperate with specific qualifications for the Renovation loan I was signing. The requirments, set by the bank asked for 3 references in order to continue with the project. It was extremely difficult to get any response from Carr after they provided the initial quote. This in turn delayed my process for closing and thus delayed projects that where already in place. I would not recommend this company due to the lack of professionalism.

I have used Carr in th past and would continue to use them in the future. Their response was quick and they provided an estimate over the telephone for a replacement water heater. The water heater was replaced the following day at a time of lmyu convience. The technician was professional , quick and offered advice for operation. They are a mid sized comany operating out of Safety Harbor and have been in business Many years. Great company with excellent service people.

Initially, the washing machine drain line was backing up with water coming up over the top. Joe came out and saw the line needed replacing, as the bottom of the trap had quite a bit of rust. After snaking the line & installing a new PVC trap and drain pipe, we were good to go. However, after 2 weeks, water started overflowing out the top of the drain line again...REALLY?? Called Jan on 6/25 & she had Walt out in about an hour. He climbed up on the roof and used a big diameter snake to dislodge what appeared to be a considerable clog from the line. The best part? The second svc. call was covered under warranty per R. Carr!! Is that not the absolute BEST in customer service? Needless to say, I will recommend R. Carr Plumbing to anyone who'll listen. Satisfaction guaranteed is not just a catch phrase with them, they mean it!

R Carr always shows up when promised. The guys who do the work in the field are always nice, polite and knowledgeable about the job. The staff at the office are a pleasure to deal with. they have helped me find exactly the products I need for renovation projects. I would not call anyone else for my plumbing needs.

They were prompt, courteous and neat. Put a plastic pan under the water heater. We had a metal one before that cracked so that water leaked on ceiling below. Have used this company for all our plumbing needs and would recommend them.

Chuck arrived as scheduled, made a professional appraisal as to problems we are having and repairs that needed to be accomplished. He is a very personable and professional plumber and I enjoyed observing his work and chatting with him while he did the work we needed. One of the faucets (that supplies water from the main to the house,) required removing and Chuck replaced it with a on-off handleand welded the new connection. The outside shower was dripping and had a broken handle. Chuck resolved the problem, installed a new on-off faucet handle and he replaced the entire works so the shower is usable once again. Again, I congratulate R. Cobb plumbing for the quick response and the subsequent outstanding repair work, and Chuck for his professionalism, knowledge and ability. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors and will call R Cobb anytime I need a plumber..

Overall the "service" was great. I have an issue with a fuel charge and found the email address does not work. Below is the email I tried twice to send to support@rcarrplumbing.com and came back as undeliverable. Here is the email: To the Manager at R Carr, Plumbing: I had a leak repaired yesterday by Heath. I was quite happy with the repair job. Today looking at the invoice #001749 before I filed it I noticed a $9.00 charge for fuel for a total of $115.19 before my $10 Angie's List coupon. leaving a total of $105.19. Here is what you say on Angie's list: 45 employees. Uses subs. Cost is determined by the job. No travel charges. Extra charge for after-hour emergency service. Additional email -support@rcarrplumbing.com. Award winning. Additional DBA - R Carr Inc. So much for the "No travel charges". Your office is 3.3 miles and eight minutes from my home. Even paying both ways it is only 6.6 miles and 16 minutes. If your van gets 10 miles per gallon @ $3.50 per gallon that would be a cost of $2.31 for fuel leaving $6.69 for travel which works out to $25.00 per hour for the drive time. You get a really good rate for Heath at $98.00 per hour. At $107.00 per hour you are charging too high a rate for this area. And that is what you charged me. You could also add $10.00 for "shop and truck supplies". Then you could be charging $117.00 per first hour. Needless to say I do not care for this approach. Stephen Collins

The job went well. I have used this company in the past with equal success. They are always pleasant, professional and do the job as one would expect. The service tech showed up on time and proceeded to do the installation quickly and efficiently. I would recommend R&R and use them in the future.

Friendly people on the desk, spoke to the serviceperson and he explained the problem. Quick repair. The only issue I have is that they were suppose to send a receipt and invoice for the repair to my NJ home since the service was performed on one of my Florida renatl properties. I never received the invoice/receipt even after sending another email. I understand that this is probably out of the norm, so I don't hold too much against them for that. I would use them again. Repsectable company.
