I set up a cleaning time on a Saturday morning, and they were at the house right on time. There were 3 ladies and they were so nice, polite, and very professional. They spent a good deal of time at the house and I definitely feel I got my moneys worth. I cannot say enough good things about this company. This company gets an A++++++++ in my book!!!
Description of Work: They cleaned a 2100 sq ft rental house that needed some serious attention - especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. I was so impressed with how clean everything was afterwards. The walls were wiped down, the doorways were no longer dirty, the floors were no longer greasy and sticky, the bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. I was amazed that the stove and refrigerator were moved out and everything behind it was cleaned. They even moved the washer and dryer and cleaned behind them.

This review could not be for our company. You have mistaken. You purchase a 6-hour coupon to clean your home through Angie's List. You did not leave a phone number on the email alert that we got from Angie’s List. We emailed you twice requesting your phone number so that we may call you. Your name seemed familiar so we checked our records and realized that we had cleaned for you before. We called and left voice messages. After the fifth day, you called and we explained that we called and left messages. You explained that sometimes your phone doesn't work. Over a year ago we cleaned your home and it made me (owner) ill. There were cat feces and litter everywhere on the floors which were impossible to get off. I had to pour water on the bathroom, kitchen floor and hallways to soak the feces in order to scrape them off the floor so that we could sweep and mop. You apologized for the condition of the house explaining that you were ill and couldn't clean, but the house appeared to have not been cleaned in years and needed a hazmat team to clean it, and due to the condition, I got ill for a couple of days after cleaning your home. Last week, after recognizing that you were this client, we explained that we would not be able to clean your home again and suggested that you find someone else. I asked you to call Angie's List to request a refund and you said that it was my responsibility to do so. I explained that Angie's List would not issue the refund based on my call and that you should contact them. You refused. I called Angie's List and spoke with my Account Manager and he said that they cannot reach out to members and that you should call them. I begged them to try as I was afraid that you would use this medium to vent your frustration as you were being very hostile to me on the phone because you were being evicted from your home and had no one to clean it. I understood your situation as you crying to me on the phone and said that you had no one and nowhere to go. Somehow, Angie's List was able to make contact with you and issued your refund last week. We have our email and phone records to prove that we tried to make contact with you. We are of the opinion that you may have tried another company that may have come to your home but we did not visit you as I knew that we would not clean your home again due to its condition. We would appreciate that you remove this review as this is a very untruthful event that you wrote about us. We made every attempt to contact you and asked Angie's List to help us in contacting you and refunding you the money. There is nothing else we could do. We am sorry for your losses and what transpired for you to be unhappy right now but it is unfair to take it out on us when all we did was to refuse to work in an unsafe and unhealthy environment. They came out first time and husband went through my front screen door. They did a great job cleaning but they didn't even offer to pay for screen they broke. We just replaced screen after someone else walked through it. It's not a screen we can just fix screen we have to replace frame and the frame was bent as well. Had them out again and an entire room was missed and everything was half done. This continued and follow up was not timely. Owner only texts to schedule and weeks would go by without response. Good day. This is not entirely accurate. We cleaned for you 12/14, 1/15, 3/15, 5/15, & 6/15 for a monthly request. You stated that you were comfortable with text message and would contact us when we were needed. As a matter of fact, you stated that you were very busy and would not know your schedule until certain times, then you would text your request to us. We were not able to set you up on a steady monthly cleaning schedule. We BOTH had lapses in days for responses (I do have the text message responses to show how long you took to confirm your appointments). The accident that happened did not tear your screen completely and you did not request that we do anything about it. We are insured and would certainly have done so. You were very happy with the cleaning and never talked to us about the incident for the 6 moths or so that we cleaned for you. On one occasion, a cleaning was not done to you satisfaction. You stated that in one room there were dust on the lamp, headboard and another item. You also stated that a section of the floor in the kitchen seemed to have not been done well. We stated that we could re-clean for you but we both agreed that instead of doing so we would charge you less for the next cleaning. You were happy with the next cleaning (which was discounted) and requested that my daughter (one of the cleaners) always be there. We complied. You took awhile to get back to us on when you would want your next cleaning and when we reached out to you, you stated that it was already done and you would get back to us when you were ready again. We began to believe that our cleanings were satisfactory to you as we received no other complaint. On July 12, to our surprise, we received a text message from you (as this is the only way you contacted us) explaining that you will no longer be needing our services. You thanked us and wished us a great rest of the summer. Perhaps 90 percent of out clients communicate with us via text messages as they can reach out to us any time using this medium. Whether it be after closing hours or on weekends, or during the night. They have explained to us that they are happy with this way of communication as it is also a record of the dates and times they have requested and the confirmed appointments. You did not indicate that you had a problem with this as this was the ONLY way you communicated with us also. We are sorry that we did not communicate more about the door as I now realize that you must have felt very upset about it. It was our mistake not to have offered a replacement and we apologize. It now seems to have been brewing something unhealthy with our business relationship which has now made you to make this decision. Regarding the cleaning, after we cleaned your home again, you sent a text message expressing how happy you were with the cleaner and wanted her all the time to be a part of the cleaning team, so now we are surprised. It was a pleasure working with you and hope that all goes well with you for the future. Thank you.

Above statement pretty much explains it all. Just would like to add because of home size and having to deal with a tremendous amount of dust, job took more than six hours more like 8 hours.
Description of Work: Cleaned entire home with the exception of garage. Mopped and cleaned tile and marble floors. Also cleaned wood floors and all window seals. Cleaned three bathrooms, living and dining rooms, kitchen, family room , wiped all surfaces and overall did a very good job. Very thorough and professional. Have no complaints about work done. My only complaint is communicating with them to set up services. Would try calling texting and email with no response. To be fair we are only here part time and was not able to set up regular visits in the beginning. However I told them I would like to set up regular monthly cleaning and I would plan to be here. They never got back to me to set anything up. I would like to continue using their services because honestly they are the best I have ever had in any area of the country I have lived. She didn't dust anything including the entertainment center, mirror wasn't cleaned, and Jacuzzi was still dirty. She vacuumed and mopped the floors. Nothing was moved to get a really good cleaning. I kind of felt like it was a rushed job. Update to Service Provider on 7-14-15: First of all, what ever happened to the customer is always right? Second, she forgot to mention that I tipped them so in whole I paid $110 ($90+$20 Tip). I never said light dusting. I needed my house cleaned so that would mean everything dusted. I asked her about the Big Deal for $100 of 4 hours house cleaning and she told me that this was for just a one-time cleaning. She pretty much talked me out of purchasing directly from Angie's List and I didn't know any better because I had just joined. She didn't really want me to purchase this.

Good day. We are very sorry to learn you that did not have a wonderful experience with our services. We must point out a few things to you. After the walk-through you called the office to change your mind about having us provide services due the price of $100 that was given. That price was given because that was what you charged your previous cleaner. We would normally charge more. When you called, you were told that we would reduce the fee to $90 and you agreed. That price would give you a shorter cleaning time. When the cleaning crew of two ladies arrived, due to the fact that you did not want to pay more, you told them to lightly dust your home because it was not dirty. This they did. Your bathroom and Jacuzzi were cleaned properly and things were moved and cleaned. You did not request a deep cleaning which would include moving many items and furniture, but small, obvious items were lifted and surfaces cleaned. We must point out that this team is the same team of which the past few members of this medium have written about. We were reluctant to provide services after your first conversation with us as you advised us that you had dismissed eight cleaning professionals. We, however, went through with the service because we did not want to disappoint you. Somehow, we were still unable to clean to your satisfaction. We would have hoped that you would have called the office and advise of the situation and we would have sent someone out there right away to correct what needed to be taken care of. Your comments here went up within two hours of the cleaners leaving there and your home was their last one for the day, which ended in the mid afternoon, so they were not rushing and had time to return, if needed. Please understand that your time for the price you wanted would have to be less than two hours. We aim to please our clients and are very sorry to know that you were displeased. We offer 100% guarantee so please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your experience with us better. Thank you.

Charmaine sent her daughter and a helper - two young women who worked HARD for two solid hours. I had a lot of post construction dust covering everything and by the time they left, the place was spotless! The floor was mopped twice...she changed out the water several times to assure that she wasn't remopping with dirty water. Furniture was moved and cleaned behind, bathrooms cleaned, and the only tiny area they missed was the top of the refrigerator (and the only reason I even know that was because I climbed up on a ladder to put something away in the cabinet above the refrigerator and saw the dust - and even if I were doing the cleaning myself, I might have missed that!). They took no breaks, wasted no time and worked VERY HARD. Worth every penny. I will definitely use them again - nice, polite, professional and thorough! Mama RAISED them RIGHT!

Two girls came in, one was good, the other was very young. To me, she was sick or had allergies. She was constantly sniffing her nose and it was running. The poor girl couldn?t function and I had to give her tissues. It was awful. I can?t be around people who are sick, so they shouldn?t have sent her. She?s a nice girl, but she?s not equipped for housecleaning. She cleaned the appliances and she did an awful job. The stainless steel had streaks all over them. She polished my living room furniture and dining room table and it was all spotty. She doesn?t go just one way and I can see all the marks. It was a disaster. They cleaned everything and then she asked if I wanted my rugs vacuumed. Isn?t that the first thing you do?? That should have been done before they mopped. The feather duster they used was falling apart and I am still picking up pieces of feathers today. The two girls were running over each other. Instead of separating the house, they would start and stop different rooms. I ended up having to help them. I couldn?t wait for them to leave. They were supposed to be here between 1:00pm and 1:30pm. I get a call at 1:20pm saying that the other client wanted more time. I reluctantly agreed, because there was nothing I could do. I was then given a time between 2:30pm and 2:45pm. They don?t arrive until 3:20pm. They never apologized and I found it very unprofessional. The company never followed up with me to see how the service went. These cleaners are not trained the way they should be. The owner needs to go out to these houses and teach them how to do things right. I should not have to babysit them and tell them what to do. I also have a I robot that i ran through the master bedroom only and after it was done the cup of dirt on the I robot was full.

Good day to you. We are very surprised at the review we received from you. You didn't call the office to complain or make any request to correct any situation with which you were dissatisfied, which would have been a fair thing to do. We guarantee 100% satisfaction and would have been more than willing to have another team re-clean your home at no additional cost. The young lady to which you refer was not sick. Yes, she has allergies which is affected sometimes by allergen in the homes that she cleans, so something in your home could have activated her allergies. We do not send sick people to work and we do not work with them but allow them to stay home and get better. Also, she has a very small frame and a childlike-looking face but she is well of working age. We are also an equal opportunity employer so having allergies or looking young does not constitute a good reason to not have someone work or to not employ them. The African-American worker called the office to complain that she felt very uneasy as your husband kept coming into the room while she was cleaning and she felt she was being racially profiled. Please understand that all these can make an individual feel very uncomfortable and unable to focus. The workers were bombarded by you and was nervous all the time while they worked as they were constantly monitored, policed and scrutinized. They were constantly afraid while they worked, as they believed that nothing they did would every please you as you wanted to show them how to do everything. These are the same workers who have worked in the homes for clients who have left the wonderful reviews you read here on Angie's List. If people are given a chance to work on their own, they will perform better. You purchased 4 hours of cleaning and were asked to state your priorities, which were your floors and bathrooms, therefore, they did not focus on your rugs. After they were done with your priorities, they had time remaining and asked what you wanted to have them do and at this time they asked if you wanted the rugs and carpet vacuumed. Usually, when we are performing a complete cleaning, we vacuum all floors and carpet/rugs before mopping. We were only trying to make sure we did as you requested and complete the hardwood floors first before the time ran out. You also changed your mind and told them to perform different tasks than what you originally told them to do, You also went back over the work that was done, including the stainless steel appliances. The supervisor was about to have the worker fix the polishing of the refrigerator but was not given the opportunity because you stepped in and decided to correct it yourself and attempted to teach the employee how it should be done. They felt that the way you spoke to them was very condescending which added to their frustration while they tried to clean your home. The method we employ may be different from what you would use but it has worked for us. We won't necessarily have one person clean an entire room. They perform different tasks in the same room. It does not make it incorrect. I am sure if these workers were given the opportunity to function without the constant distraction of being told how to do everything, you would have felt better about the result. The price, I believe was very low and this type of work deserves to be properly compensated as it is all manual labor. In fact, you were charged well below the norm. The other issue you discussed was the time. You were called and told that the team was at another location and the client was requesting to purchase additional time for them to complete the cleaning. Your permission was requested to have them finish the job with the previous client and come to your home later around 2:45. You were told that this time was an estimate. Cleaning for the first time is always an estimate. They did arrive later than that time and I agree that you could have been given another call, and we apologize to you for you not receiving this call. You stated that you reluctantly said yes, but you were told that you did not have to agree (because we could make another appointment to complete the tasks for the client). We do this many times as Angie's List members know that they can purchase additional time. You were even told that you also had the option and that your job was the last for the day so it would be fine to do so, it needed. We are surprised that you stated that you had no choice when you were given one. The client would not be upset as she was willing to have us return to complete the tasks. We are sorry that it did not work out to your satisfaction and would be happy to re-clean your home with another team which would include the owner, however, we would not be able to do it under any stressful situation like before.
