Installed new ice maker line thru kitchen angle stop thru cabinets to the refrigerator. Job went well. Very efficient worker. Got lots done. Happy with outcome!!! 5% discount not quite accurate.....

He found a severely cracked toilet that the house inspector missed. Gave me the details I needed to replace it. He then checked the dishwasher which was not draining, he told me it was not the plumbing but the dishwasher was broken. He checked the water heater and the sink in garage and noticed the sink was leaking. He brought back a new toilet and fixed the sink. He worked efficiently and quickly and came when he said he would.

I was really impressed with the overall service provided by this company. Mike explained what he was doing all the way. He said that all the parts in my GB toilet should have been changed. He was able to use the part that Moen had sent for the shower and explained that the cartridges were worn. He had both showers and the toilet fixed in under an hour. I am happy with this company and would highly recommend them to my friends. THANKS ANGIESLIST.
Description of Work: My GB tank had a leak dripping onto the floor from the hose, and there was no cold water from the shower faucet. In the MB there was no hot water from the shower faucet My house is less than 9years old. I called another plumbing service 9mths ago because the GB toilet had water running into the bowl. I was told that to fix it plus the both showers would be approx. $450. BenFrank explained that parts plus labor cost. I was stunned and opt to only fix the toilet. He took the cover off, put a washer or something which took all of 5mins and charged me $248. He said whenever I call for the showers I won't be charged labor or some such thing.However PLUMBERS left a bad taste for me. I decided to contact MOEN for the needed parts and hoped for a better business. This visit to my home I contacted AngiesList.

Retored water pressure from a very small flow to normal water pressure.
Description of Work: Problem: low water pressure throughout the house especially when a second faucet was opened. It was extremly difficult to shower. A floushed toilet would practically turn off a shower or water faucet. John Fitzpatrick of First Choice quickly determined what the problem was. He then proceeded to change a valve coming in from the outside.

The overall experience went smoothly and was fixed to our satisfaction. Robert was prompt, friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to call 1st Choice again should the need arise.
Description of Work: I had a problem with slow drainage in the kitchen sink. Water would back up in the wet bar sink if large amounts were poured into the kitchen sink. After snaking the main line and not finding any blockage, the technician (Robert) found the auto vent under the sink had been improperly installed. He put in a new one and we've had no problems since.
