It was good! They showed up on time, and I asked them about a coupon through Angie's List and he told me there was one in the phone book so I got about $12 off the service!

Ms. Rebecca at the offce is a star. The customer service she provided was excellent. She even helped me locate the part needed on the web site of the company that makes the part and distributes it because she happened to know that that company would provide it to me for free. The plumber who came to do the work was right on time. He was efficient, quick and neat. The whole experience was a pleasure.

We knew the hot water heater was very old & needed replaced, but not now. Well 3 days before leaving on a 7 day cruise, I noticed a leak in the garage from the hot water heater. I called First Choice Plumbing Solutions that same day and they came that afternoon and replaced the OLD hot water heater and updated plumbing and wiring for the hot water heater to code. On the phone they were very polite and the service person was very polite and informative. They had given me a time for the service person to be there and due to long lines getting a permit, he would be about 45 minutes late. He called his office and told them and they called me prior to the time of the appointment and gave me a new time to let me know he would be late but still coming. I really appreciated the call. Yes I would bring them in again for a job.

Smoother than anticipated

Called First Choice Solutions and set up appoinment. Serviceman arrived on time, examined the problem and gave me several alternatives. I chose and alternative and the service was completed within two hours.

Very pleasant person at the company office understood exactly what we needed and was able to schedule our repair promptly. Plumber arrived reasonably close to expected time. Began work promptly and finished quickly. Replaced the leaking valve and let us know that we needed an expansion tank to be in current code compliance. He was able to install the tank while here and saved us the cost of a return visit.

They were great, neat, courteous and responsive.

Contacted company and set up appointment for the next day. The gentleman was very nice, did the job well (no more leaks!) and made sure the area was clean when he left. Very satisficed.

Rebecca was very polite and helpful on the phone and sent Gabe right out on a Friday afternoon. He diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and we agreed that he would return the following morning to complete the repair. (I had another appointment that day or he would have done it then) He even explained the problem to both me and my son who was on speaker phone! He was very patient and answered all our questions. He even agreed to fix another small problem with the toilet tank that my son suggested he look at while he was here. Gabe explained that, since he was already here, company policy allowed him to fix that small issue for parts only charge--no labor. The installation of the water heater was done professionally and he tidied up nicely when he was done. I sent photos of the repairs to my son, who pronounced it a "job well done!" I was pleased with the efficiency and polite service I received. There was an Angie's List coupon, but Gabe explained that they would give me the "senior discount" since it was greater than the coupon amount. I hope I don't need a plumber again anytime soon. But, if I do, I will surely call them back again and would even request Gabe! Thanx!!

My reverse osmosis system blew a leak and I awoke to and inch or so of water in my home. When I called the plumbing company I was told they could have someone out here between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. I had discovered the water about 6:00 AM and had been mopping water up from the kitchen and the spare bath. I called the plumbing company just before 8:00. About 15 minutes after I talked to the company a young man called to say he had a cancellation and would be right out. He was here within about 30 minutes. I had turned the main water valve off as soon as I knew where the water was coming from. He turned it back on so he could assess the problem and after turning the water back off, asked if I wanted to disconnect or repair and I told him to just remove it totally. He remov- ed it for me and put it in the garage for me. He then replaced a piece of pipe and that was it. After he left I again went to Angies List, this time for carpet cleaners to abstract the water from my carpet.

It was an excellent exerience for us.

The lady I talked to was very accommodating and scheduled an appointment the same day which was unexpected but very nice. She later called me and let me know that the tech was running a little behind. Another nice touch. The tech arrived, I think his name was Gabriel .....not 100% sure on that. He was friendly , thorough , and knowledgeable. He looked at the mess I created and gave me an estimate. I haven't needed the services of a plumber in some time so I was a bit taken back at the cost involved. I agreed to the price and he started the repair. About 2 hours later + or - a few minutes he was done. He did a great job and cleaned up nicely afterward . There were a few materials involved but it would seem that most of the costs involved was for labor. The work order did not break down much, so I'm not sure what the labor rate was....I could have asked . At the end of the day, albeit pricey, I was very happy with the service and quality of the work. I would certainly call these folks again. Just to clarify, the price of the repairs did not include the costs of the new fixture.

Overall I believe I was charged fairly for a job that did not seem very simple.

Early Wednesday morning I put a large load in the washer to get that chore over before tackling some outside painting. As we ate breakfast, the washer began draining out of the pipes in the wall onto the floor at the base of some kitchen cabinets. My sons and I pulled out the lower cabinets on that wall, attempting to find the source. We knocked a small hole in the plaster, enough to see that water was pouring from a cast iron pipe connection. Since I was not sure whom to call, I started with a couple of friends to ask for recommendations. Receiving none, I decided to join Angie's List. After reading reviews of several companies, I called First Choice Plumbing Solutions, the first one on the local list. I called somewhere around 10:30-11:00, got an appt. for 3:30, and received a call from Joe about noon, saying he could come earlier if possible. He was here by 1:30 or so, looked at the problems, went for some parts, and was back about 3. He and his helpers worked diligently and efficiently to solve not only the leak, but Joe went out of his way to anticipate what might happen soon with those old pipes and repaired and replaced even more than I had expected. He suggested some work we might want to consider in the future, too. All this, and he stuck to the original estimate of costs. He stayed late to finish the work the same day.I certainly recommend this company to others and will call him for future work here. They are professional and competent. Thank you, Joe!

I had an amazing expereince, as mentioned above.

The person got here on time. I explained that the kitchen and master bathroom faucets were dripping and I need both toilets pumps to be checked. He explained that the faucets needed to be replace in the bathroom and suggested that since my husband is handicap that we install a new toilet high enough for him in the master bathroom. The guest bathroom only needed a new pump and he would repair the kitchen faucet. He gave us a quote of approximately $800.00 for all and we gave our OK. Once he started to work with the kitchen faucet he realize we needed a new one. He then gave us a new estimate of $1000.00 for everything and we approved it. We found that he was very neat and nice. Yes, we would recommend this company.

The job started off okay. The plumber who was supposed to come was laid up with a shoulder problem so the owner came in his place. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasant person. He started in the master bathroom and things went well until he went to replace the wall mounted shower controller. He couldn't get the old cartridge out and told me he'd either have to cut a huge hole in the tile and cover it with a chrome plate or he'd have to cut a hole in the dry wall on the other side of the shower wall. Neither option was agreeable to me and I was visibly upset. I left the room thinking he would cut the drywall and I would have to call someone to patch the hole and then find paint to match. He called me in after a considerable amount of time had elapsed and showed me he had gone to extraordinary means to free the cartridge without making either of the undesirable holes. He did show me where he had cut his hands on the tile because of the confined space he had to work. The bottom line is he knew I was upset and he wanted to make me happy and pleased with the job. It took an extra 3 hours for all the work to be done because of the problem in the bathroom. He also ran into a problem removing the kitchen faucet as it had been installed wrong but again came up with a non- invasive solution. It cost more than previously quoted but that was understandable considering the three extra hours to finish the job. I truly believe it was important to him to do the job well and leave the customer happy. Yes, I would use this company again.

Water leaking from our water heater was a pretty good indication we needed a new one. After some online research, I contacted 2 big box stores to buy and arrange for installation of a new one. After having decided on 1 of these stores, their plumber arrived and on his way to the unit, informed me I was not going to be happy. It was difficult to extract the information from him, but after establishing that all they wanted to do was nickel and dime me to death, I told him, in no uncertain terms to get off my property. I didn't like his attitude or his prices. That's when I got smart and went on Angie's List to find a local plumber. Enter First Choice Plumbing Solutions! After 1 call, John was sent out to give me a free estimate for the water heater purchase and installation. John quickly analyzed the situation and quoted me a price. That price, with installation, was well below that quoted by both of the big box stores. It was a no brainer! John told me he had the new water heater in his truck and upon my agreeing to his estimate, the unit was installed! What a pleasure! I had been looking for a new plumber and I found one! I couldn't be happier with First Choice Plumbing Solutions and I have already recommended them to my friends.

Joe was professional, prompt, courteous and had the problem fixed at the price he quoted. $20.00 coupon accepted. He also called Brett (drywall installer at First Choice) to come out to assess drywall damage and repair. Brett has not yet come out and will amend add another review for that portion of the repair. He also made out the paperwork for a possible insurance claim and said Brett would also assess/estimate for insurance claim. Overall very good experience. Would definitely use again.

Called First Choice on a weekend to clear a drain line thinking we would have an appointment next week - but they were able to come that day as the last appt. Actually called with new time to say they were running a little late and arrived on that time. Ran a snake from the roof - took two times to clear. While I had the plumber here I got an estimate to replumb an old poorly working three valve shower with new single. This was no easy task with the tile work, but John had parts on the truck and was willing to stay late & finish the job - the same day. Very professional, good clean up, and appreciate having our extra shower back!

Phoned company in the morning and John arrived 4 hours later right on time. Briefed me and provided an estimate for the work he intended to do, and received my permission before proceeding to do the work. Fixed some problems inside and out efficiently. He explained what he planned to do and why. I will definitely call on them again when anything needs attention. He mentioned that they fully warrant their work too.

I would use them again in the future.

My toilet had sprung a leak. I called First Choice Plumbing Solutions, because I had used their services before and I was very satisfied. John was the plumber I had the first time I called for help. Not only is he nice, but he knows what he is doing and he is reliable. He is always there on time or before time. I would definitely use First Choice Plumbing Solutions again and I would recommend them.

I called First Choice about 9:30 am and they were very polite and courteous on the phone, an appt. was setup for 230-3pm same day.John Fitzgerald called about 1/2 hour later to say he had a cancellation and could he come in about 1/2 hour. I said ok and he was very prompt. He explained what the problems were and how he would fix them and gave me an estimate right away. The price was great and he performed an excellent job! It took him about 25 minutes for both problems. He is very courteous, personable, profession and knowledgeable! I will definitely use First Choice again, and I got $20.00 off the work with the coupon from Angies! GREAT WORK!
