Description of Work: First day in our new home a toilet shut off valve broke. Via internet, we put in an emergency call and they responded within an hour. Pricey but we were pleased and signed up for the monthly preferred club. We paid for about 6-7 months and promptly withdrew. We did not find any savings belonging to their plan. As a matter of fact, we found the phone staff rather irritating.

Description of Work: The electrician replaced the main breaker panel/box to our house. We had it replaced because according to the house inspector for the buyers of our house, it was not functioning properly and could potentially be a fire hazard. | |The electrician arrived at the time promised and began the work as soon as FPL arrived to disconnect the service to our house. The finished repair was approved by the Martin County inspector who actually said it "looked beautiful." While we were not happy to have to spend so much money, it was necessary. We were very pleased with the electrician's work and if we were not moving out of state, we wouldn't hesitate to use his services again, if needed. | |

Description of Work: Had no hot water this morning, so I assumed it had something to do with the water heater which Miranda installed in 2009. I called them and they advised me it would be a $129 charge for the service call plus any parts. This being a Sunday and Mother's Day I was thankfull to get someone to respond. Turns out that it was a broken water pipe. It took the technician less than 15 minutes to make the repair ( a splice) with virtually no parts (all labor). The final bill was $498.00 !!! I had two coupons which brought the bill down to $448.00 which still was extremely pricey for the work performed. I will have to look for another company with prices more reasonable for future work.

Description of Work: Mike (the president) send Donnie to review the problem with my pool heater (heat pump). After learning that the heat exchanger was cracked, I worked with Mike to help me locate the company responsible fot the warranty work. After numerous calls and research on his part, we were able to contact the company in California who ultimately replaced my unit. Mike did an amazing job helping me out with this problem even though it was not his unit or responsibility. I have always relied on Miranda for all of my A/C needs, whether it is routine service or new installations on my rental properties.

Description of Work: I called due to the fact the my sink and washer drain were backing up. After snaking the line 3 times the water drained out. He keep trying to up sell products and told me that the snaking would only be temporary. Well it lasted about 8 days and the clog was back. I called to state that the drains were clogged again and was told I would be called back. I gave the young lady my cell number stating that I was at work she would need to call me on my cell. I told her I was unhappy due to the amount spent. I received a message on my home phone after waiting all day and was told that he spent two hours at my house and that they do not guarntee that snaking would clear the lines. Call back if I had any questions. Not a good company to call stay away unless you want to pay them over $500.00 to power wash your drain lines not including the service charge.

Description of Work: Total removal of an older and underperforming air handler and condenser, and installation of a new 15.0 SEER 1.5 ton condenser and a new air handler system.

Description of Work: We replaced old hot water tank with a tankless hot water heater. We replaced older A/C system with a more efficient system.
