My AC went out on Friday and Miranda was there Sat to give me a quote. I had a quote from another company as well. Miranda explained all of our options in detail. Monday Chad and Cody came out to install our new equipment. We were so impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. You get what you pay for with Miranda. High quality equipment and knowledgeable staff. They were extremely thorough and stayed until 2300 to get the job done right for us. I highly recommend Miranda! We are extremely satisfied! Thank you Miranda!!

The wrote me a report of the cause. I needed this independent review for my dealings with the original installer.

It was a good services but I thought the prices could be better.

May 17 -2017 The tech came and fixed the problem on my air conditioner outside unit (2 capacitors ) ... an easy and fast fix , but he charged me $617.29 for the job . The job description was as follow : I paid $129.00 for "emergency hours) at 5:35 in the afternoon . He charged me $313.29 for one capacitor plus $175.00 for the other one to a total of $488.29 for two capacitors . I told the tech that his business card mentioned a $25.00 discount so I was able to reduce that from the total which now was a final $592.29 . Afterwards , still in shock because of the price for such small job , I grabbed the bad capacitors with me , sat in my computer , entered online and found the real actual price for the two capacitors : 1) the one that they charged me $313.29 cost actually $34.69 brand new 2) the second capacitor that they charged me $175.00 actually cost $9.42 brand new ... both have free shipping on ebay . 1) capacitor CSRU2 ([*** Link removed ***] actual Cost $34.69 2)capacitor Packard POCF35 ([*** Link removed ***] actual Cost $ 9.42 These people charged $488.29 for two parts that their real total cost $44.11 ... I was overcharged a whopping $444.18 over the real cost of those parts ... that is , 11 times the actual cost of the two capacitors . When a business charge a customer eleven times the cost of the parts, it demonstrates intent of ripping off that customer . I am so overwhelmed over this flagrant abuse if I can call it that , that I decided to post it online to warn other potential victims . Please , stay away from these people if you don`t want to be robbed . I am , frankly speaking , so appalled by this that I am deciding to make a letter of complain to the office of the Better Business bureau of Florida to denounce the price dealings of this company and ask to be refunded at least $400.00 for the enormous , excessive charge for the two capacitor parts . I am not disputing the cost of the visit , which I agreed to pay . Customers, beware of this company !!!

It was excellent. They were very professional and courteous. They were above and beyond my expectations.

We purchased a small condo in March that needs a lot of work so I joined Angies List to find reliable people to do some work. The Hot Water heater was sitting in a metal pan with some nasty looking brown water around it and occasionally I could hear water dripping - none on the floor but I figured it was just a matter of time before the thing sprung a leak and I didn't want water all through the condo especially since we had just installed laminate floors. The furnace also appeared to be on it's last legs - the condo is about 25 years old and I bet the heating, a/c and water heater were almost that old if not original. I originally got a quote from another highly recommended (on Angies List) heating and A/C company but they didn't do hot water tanks. Because the hot water tank was my main concern and due to the fact that they are all in the same closet, I wanted everything replaced at once. I contacted Miranda and the gentleman, one of the owners of the company, came out and looked at the situation. He made some recommendations regarding the closet where the units were housed and he gave us a quote. It was much higher than I expected based on the previous quote - but this included the hot water tank, work to fix up the closet and replace the stand (a rickety piece of wood) holding the heating and a/c unit that is above the water heater. In the end, we thought the more complete work would be worth the extra money. We scheduled the appointment for the replacement in the same week. The work was done quickly with very little inconvenience to us and the folks doing the work were fast and cleaned up after themselves very well. I am completely satisfied with the work performed and believe I made the right choice in having the work done by Miranda.

Miranda started the job to fix our bathtub in Oct 2012. The plumber put a hole in our wall to see how to order the new drain. Three months later he cam back with the wrong part. They reordered the part and came back in April 2013 with the wrong part again. This time the plumber knocked a hole in a different bathroom to see if he could use the part from that bathtub. They came back in July 2013 with the wrong part. Now I have 2 disabled bathtubs, 2 holes in 2 different bedroom walls. We talked to the owner of Miranda in August 2013 ( the person said he was the owner) and told us they would get right on it immediately. Two weeks later, September 2013 the owner ( a different person this time) told my wife that Miranda cannot finish the job. So we are stuck with two holes in our walls, Miranda has our parts for the tubs. In my opinion stay away from this company.

They were able to find the problem quickly and take care of it. Made recommendations for future issue with my ac unit and have actually called to check on how the work is holding up and if I need any more work.

The technician was friendly, and showed up on time. I have been using them for years.

They came in we told them our problem they went right to work They clean up after themselves how awesome us that!

We went with Miranda because they used only the best contractors for their A/C. They also charged us more for this A/C because of their guarantees wich were complete satisfaction. The first unit we purchased from Miranda froze up after only 6 months and since it was under warranty they fixed it. We were assured that the unit would last the full ten years. Two years latter it was gone. They offered to fix it but would gaurantee nothing. We were given a chance to buy another unit, supposedly at their cost, so we decided to do so. The second unit was the one that had the condensor fan blade replaced. We have used their plumbing and found that it is very, very, expensive and will never use them again. Their electrical is also extremely expensive and I will not use them.

They did the work well, cleaned up well. I would use them again

Mike and Miranda A/C (and plumbing) are very easy to work with. They replaced my A/C unit and corrected a plumbing issue that required that they coordinate both jobs with the maintenance person at my condo complex. The plumbing issue necessitated shutting off water for the entire floor while they worked. Since I was out of town during this time, I was naturally concerned about what might go wrong. I am happy to report that Miranda took care of all the details without issue, including sending me photos of the completed work, just as they promised. These folks are very professional both in the quality of work and the way they treat their customers. Seems like a well run business. I feel confident that I received an excellent value with respect to the services performed. Thank you Miranda Air Staff!

Overall, A bad experience (more than once).

I would recommend Miranda Plumbing.

They did a very good job. They called me back in a timely manner. They actually put in an access door in the closet for any future repairs, rather than going through the shower wall.

Miranda has been the servicer of the hvac systems in the home for many years. This, like previous work, was done competently, on time, as promised. No debris left behind. The white carpet outside the hot water heater closet remained white.

They charged me to come out and for labor for each visit. It has cost me hundreds of dollars.

He was on time and did what he came to do! Now having said that. I sat back and watched what he did and kinda thought that $329. labor for 1 1/2 hr work is a little high! no parts all labor.

They came first to inspect our air conditioning unit and when they did, they found out that I was going to have at least $1500 to $2000 of replacement and stuff. Then when they started to investigate further they realized that the whole thing hadn't been set outside on a slab as it was supposed to, and it was just set on the ground. So they explained everything in great detail to me so I decided that I was not even going to go down that route and that I was just going to replace the whole thing. They came the next day with a completely new unit for me. They replaced everything. I thought they were very thorough and they explained everything in great detail. They explained about the original problem and the next day when they came back with the unit, they showed me exactly what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. I was very pleased. In fact I bought a maintenance agreement from them to cover both plumbing and our heating system.

Owner, Mike, was awesome to talk to. I called so many places and by the time I got to him I was done looking. His pricing was pretty much the same as most, but his was a flat rate... most of the others were for the first 2 hours and then additional fees if service went over 2 hours. I definitely felt like I was not being taken advantage of for being a woman with no knowledge in this area. Calls were returned asap. Nice, professional and respectful. The plumber who came out, Eric, was SO NICE and competent. Because of the condition of the house, Eric was unable to check certain things I requested over the phone.... he reduced the price of estimate by 50%. We need plumbing work when we take possession of the home and we are, undoubtedly, calling Miranda Plumbing.

It went very well with them. They are a good service. The people that work there are very in tune to what is going on. They are also very prompt.

Everything went great. He worked from the minute he got here until the job was done. Cleaned up the extra supplies and left garage in same condition it was in before they did the service. He explained what had happened and install a later model. I can not find one thing to complain about their service.

This was my annual service job. They were out here promptly when they were supposed to be. The guy worked for about 1 1/2 hours. He replaced some parts that had to be replaced. He showed them to me before he replaced them and I agreed that they needed to be replaced. They did a very workmanlike job and he was very careful coming in and out of the house. He puts boots on when he came in to adjust the thermostat setting or to talk to me. He did a very good job and it is a very reliable company. I've used them for the last 5 years. The service call was $79 and they gave me a discount of $25 and then there were parts involved. The final price included the service call. Based on ads I've seen in the paper, their price is about right with the discount.

I called and was able to get someone out the same day for the repair as there was leaking from the pipe in the a/c unit because the drain was clogged. After the work was performed to clean the clogged drain, I was about fixing the damage to the platform at a cost of an additional $1500, which I declined that service. I was then told that their was a defective float switch which is the reason why the platform had damage to it and at that point I was told about the service fee that was never discussed when I placed the phone call for service. So basically work was performed even before there was an evaluation of what was wrong and what services needed to be performed.
