Jay responded promptly to me voicemails, got me scheduled on short notice and provided me with a report to me the same day. I would definitely recommend JCM.

Great!!! Jay and his son were early for their appointment. I arrived for the home inspection 15 minutes early and they were already there looking around the house. Very detailed and Jay takes his time to explain everything. Great service, highly recommend. Will use again.

Excellent, Jay and his son worked together well to get through a large old property. A 4 point was required and he was knowledgeable in the ins and outs of the process. He found some things and was able to discuss deficiencies and aided us after issues were resolved. Good finds and positive feedback was appreciated. Communication through process was the best! He followed through and had quick responses to email and call. He did wind mitigation termite and home inspection for us. I will recommend him to anyone I know buying a house. I have used several inspectors before, Jay is the only one I would refer to a friend.

Jay was awesome. When we arrived at the property, he and his son (assistant) were already there on the roof inspecting it. They were very thorough and Jay was very educative. Once he was done with the inspection on the outside, he pulled us to the side and told us what needed attention/fixing as well as on what to keep an eye out for as far as maintenance such as roof, paint, structure etc. He went above and beyond what I believe another inspector would do. I was glad I was able to find him from other reviewers and would highly recommend to others. As of right now, I have already recommended him to my realtor, the listing agent, as well as my home owners insurance agent. =D

The short version "FANTASTIC" Jay arrived on time, explained the process thoroughly and got to work. Very systematic step by step. Jay used a drone to inspect the roof, and thermal imaging equipment to inspect for mold. Jay got up in the attic and discovered few roof leaks as well. The report was very detailed with photos, and organized addressing each section independently. Pluming, electric etc... I called Jay a day after the inspection with a couple of questions, his response was immediate. Thank you very much Jay, much appreciated.

The price was very fair. He got back to me real quick.

Very pleased all around with services provided by JCM. They conducted a 4-point and mitigation inspection. I was educated on the process and now have a better understanding what the insurance company's want/need and why.

Very good! I had to have my inspection preformed in my absence (I'm in another state) and everything was completed by phone and email.

This was by far the best home inspection I have ever had. Inspection was extremely thorough and I was walked thru every step of the way with condition, suggestions of how to repair, etc. Definitely recommend. In the past I've always used realtors recommendation in hiring inspector. I have never been satisfied. This time I decided to go thru Angie's list and was never more pleased!!

I didn't check prices but their price seems fine. Yes, I would use JCM Building Services - Inspections again in the future if needed. He referred me to another person who did some kind of an inspection for me and I was very satisfied with his referral.

Great! Jay is wonderful to work with. Very responsive and has a quick turnaround time. The owner Jay arrived at the home site before scheduled time, which I appreciate sine time is so precious to everyone involved. So he started the job early and was finished in the time allotted. I would definitely recommend his company to any one that would need a home inspection.

Quality of service was good, but had some concerns, though.

The home inspection went great! Not only did he provide a thorough inspection, he gave great detailed repair advice. We walked through the house inspecting every nook and cranny. After the inspection he provided an extremely detailed report with tons of pictures. I highly, highly recommend.

We purchased this deal on Angie's list for a new home that we had bought. Jay Murray contacted us and came out just a few days later. He was excellent and took time to explain everything as he was doing the inspection. He was very thorough, polite and knowledgeable. We learned so much from him. He noticed that there were some tiles missing on the roof and another area that needed repair so he offered to come back once we had the repairs done, take pictures of the areas and send us another full report. We received another 6 page report with photos and details of everything that we needed for our insurance. We were extremely pleased with Jay as the job he did surpassed our expectations. We would recommend him and use him again.

Jay was very punctual arriving about 10 minutes earlier than the agreed appointment time. He proceeded to do the complete home inspection which took about two hours. He fully explained everything he was doing and took the time to answer all of my questions. Jay is a true professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a comprehensive home inspection. He will catch any and all issues and even checks out all the appliances. By using his infrared camera he caught an issue with the central A/C which lead to the fact that the coils needed cleaning which saved me over $600 that the seller ended up correcting. A great experience!!

The inspection was very good and thorough. He notified me of several issues that we needed to address after the purchase or to use as negotiation points. I like having a punch list of items needing attention. The one area I was less than 100% satisfied was the pool inspection. I'd save my money next time and have a pool company do an more thorough inspection.

Jay did my my home inspection and his work was exceptionally well done. I received my inspection via email the very next day and I was able to determine if this property was worth buying. The report was very detailed with pictures and showed the areas of concern. Since the inspection results showed that the HVAC system was not in the greatest condition, I was able to ask the owner to fix it, along with the expansion tank on the water heater. I asked Jay to come an reinspect the property again after the work was done. Unfortunately the listing realtor and my realtor wasted our time, they lied to me because the owner never fixed anything. Be careful with realtors they are very sneaky and they will try to fool you. Jay showed me how the HVAC works and the repairs that needed to be done. I will definitely recommend him and I will certainly hire him again. Thank you. Mayra
