+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job at a fair price. There was a miscommunication with my renter and they did additional work, and still did not charge me more than the original estimate. I would (and will) absolutely use this company again.
Description of Work: They re screened my entire Florida room (1970's style) and removed some old vinyl window frames. The job was finished the day after I called. Steve was great to work with and his son did a really nice job on the screens.

+ 0 moreThey came promptly and got the job done, screens look great and cleaned up after themselves. But I did have some problems with them. In order to re-screen, they had to take the cage off and walk across the cage, he took a power washer and blew everything from our gutters into the pool, not only did the leaves and junk blow into the pool but also all the dirty water. This has messed up our filtration system, our ph balance, and also cost me a lot of money getting my water balanced again. I was not consulted on any of the power washing or cleaning of gutters and I was there the whole time. They also power washed our river rock deck and caused pieces of river rock to fall into the pool and caused our traps and filters to clog and not work. They just took our check and didn't tell us about any of this and it has cost me a lot of extra money. I gave them an A for the screens but the rest of the work was awful.
Description of Work: Re-screened our entire caged in pool area.

+ 2 moreYou just couldn't ask for a nicer guy! Steve even let me mail him a payment by check, even though I'm out of state and others have asked for money orders. He recommended a Realtor to me and I could see he was genuinely concerned about me being able to sell this house. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. While he had the old screen off on the Florida Room, he cleaned the outsides of the vinyl windows for free because "it didn't make sense not to since they were so accessible." I will be down next week to work on the house myself. I will DEFINITELY be calling Steve in the future for more work. There's a lot that needs to be done, and he works in several categories. When you find a contractor who's honest, professional, and caring and who does quality work there's no reason to look elsewhere!
Description of Work: First, Steve went to my home and provided me with a free and thorough estimate of several projects in response to an email I had sent him. Then he called me long distance and we had a lengthy conversation about all of the services he could provide. I really felt like he was trying to guide me to make smart decisions that would increase my home's value at sale time, not to pay for work I didn't need. Then, Steve repaired several vinyl windows in my Florida Room that were damaged by vandalism, rescreened the Florida Room to repair damage to the screen, re-aligned the door and replaced the broken lock, rescreened the front porch entrance to the house with a lighter, brighter material than was there originally, and he even emailed digital pictures of the work to me since I am not there to see. In addition, he emailed pictures of some of the other projects that I had opted not to do yet, so I could see the extent of the damage.

+ 0 moreI called Steve yesterday. He answered the phone himself and we made an appointment for him to come later in the day to give an estimate. He called me to let me know that he was running 10 min late. He arrived when he said he would. Gave me an estimate for the work involved. I asked how soon he could do the work. He actually came today. He again called to let me know that his brother would start the set up while he was doing a smaller job nearby. His brother and the rest of his crew showed up on time. Steve came shortly thereafter. The work was completed in about 4 hrs. They were neat, clean, professional. I would definitely call him back for future work!
Description of Work: Steve and his crew replaced 3 sections of Lanai screens due to rips/holes, installed a metal angle strip to cover a 1 inch gap near a railing on an existing screen that was never installed properly by the previous home owners. He also caulked the strip to make sure no bugs would come through. He also pressure washed the entire 'bird cage' which is fairly large.

Steve returned my call within 15 minutes, was available the next day, arrived on time and had the entire screen replaced within 15 minutes at an extremely reasonable price. He and his assistant were polite, efficient and cleaned up every single scrap. While he was working we were chatting, and when he found out that we were recent transplants to Florida, he talked about UV damage to aluminum enclosures, what maintenance I should do, how to keep it looking nice and what I might need to do 5-7 years down the road. I will definitely use him again if needed and have recommended him to all my neighbors.
Description of Work: Steve replaced the screening in the lanai enclosure screen door that my large dog put a hole through.

+ -1 moreSteve responded to my phone call immediately and arrived at my home later that day to discuss the job and provide an estimate. After a thorough and careful discussion of pricing options, we settled on a fee for the enclosure. Steve reliably gave me an estimate for the new aluminum panels within 24 hours. As promised, the crew turned up on Monday afternoon and completed the job by mid afternoon the following day, despite several periods of rainy weather. Everything was cleaned up; even plastic debris that had fallen in the pool was gathered up using a snorkel and mask.
Description of Work: Steve and company replaced my screen enclosure and substituted new aluminum panels on a section of old, faded plastic paneling and included pressure washing of the metal frames and gutters above the lanai overhang. When I had hired this company about a year earlier to replace a few panels, Steve had given me a price quote for the complete job. His current estimate was not much higher, even after 18 months.

+ -1 moreIt was fairly late in the day, when I called them to explain the hole made by an animal, but I was worried that during the night something might come through the hole, again. I asked if somebody was available to come over, to at least patch it. Somebody actually answered the phone, when I called, no recording! I was told somebody would come over, that evening to patch it. I went with my gut feeling and didn't call anybody else after this, because I was so impressed, they came out late in the evening.
Description of Work: They removed the old screen, that was around my pool. Replaced it with new screening.
