Farrell Roofing was the fourth estimate I received and the lowest, but that didn't reflect on their quality of work or material. I was impressed with the professionalism of the company fom the time I got the estimate to the completion of the work. The crew of 18+ men had the old roof stripped off and cleaned up within a few hours. The shingles and ridge vents were finished up by a smaller crew. Everyone in the office was very nice and professional when I went in to pay the invoice and get the warranties and other paperwork. I have already recommended Farrell to several friends.

Searched Angies List for a few roofers and decided on Farrell Roofing. My choice was based on reviews and they were able to check my leak within a few days. They answered the phone immediatly, I didn't have to leave a message. They were courtious and helpfull. Roy arrived early for the appointment. He was driving a nearly new truck in perfect condition. In my opinion this might be the first indication of a professional sucessfull company. Roy came into the house saw the stain from the leak, went out to the truck and climbed up on the roof. Within 2 minutes he found the problem A few nails had popped under a shingle. He lifted the shingle and applied roofing sealer and hammered the nails down. He also walked around the roof to see if there were any more problems. He spotted an area he didn't like and re-sealed it. He camed back down as I prepared to pay him asking him how much was the service. He replied: "For that, no charge!" Amazing. I have never dealt with a company that provided a service and didn't charge me. Even for a small job. I am sure when the time comes for a new roof, Farrell Roofing will be my number one choice, and so will be my recomendation.

In April, 2011 we bought a home that had to have the roof replaced. Our church, FUMC of Hudson, FL, had just had their roof replaced , so I asked the person in charge of buildings if they could recommend any company. I was given a glowing recommendation for Farrell Roofing. Although they were highly recommended, I still sought out three estimates. I was very surprised at the difference in prices for exactly the same material from the three companies, a difference of over $3,300.00, with Farrell being the lowest. I choose Farrell, we worked out a repair date, as I had to wait for closing on the house, The house closing was delayed several times, so the date of repair had to be changed several times. Each time Farrell Roofing was very patient and willing to work with the new date, telling us not to worry about the changes. When the actual date arrived, they were there as promised, at the time promised to begin work. I could not believe how quickly my old roof was taken off by one crew and a different crew arrived to install the new roof. Both crews must have had a dozen workers. In less than one day my new roof was installed and everything cleaned up. They were very careful to protect my plants, everyone was very pleasant and professional to work with. I appreciated very much hearing no "foul language or swearring" by anyone on the job. I did have to have some sheets of plywood replaced, and some 2" x 4"s and 2" x 6"s, the extra charge was about $400 above the estimate, which, of course, could not detect hidden damage. I was extreamly pleased with the job Farrell Roofing did for us and have recommended the company to many. A small leak was discovered after Tropical Storm Debby in June. 2012. I called Farrell Roofing one morning and they came out the same afternoon to see what they needed to do to fix it. Two days later they were there and did the repair work. Farrell Roofing also took care of the cost of having the damage caused by the leak repaired. I can not say enough about how great it has been to work with Farrell Roofing. The true test of a company is the service you get from them after they have your money. Farrell Roofing is the best as far as I am concerned.

They did an excellent job; best contractor we have ever had. They provided high quality service; the best in the area.

Farrell was very easy to work with -- we arranged a day for an inspection, and promptly received a report and estimate within 24 hours. Once we decided to go ahead, everything went as scheduled. They even determined that what we'd long taken as a plumbing vent was an old furnace flue no longer connected to anything, so recommended removing it to prevent leaks. After the job was done, they offered to send a report to our insurance agent to update the policy records, which resulted in a premium reduction. All-in-all, reliable and professional -- I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

They were fabulous. They were fantastic. Everything was mind-blowing! Everyone in our neighborhood came and looked at our roof. At one point, we had thirty-five people on our roof all working. They got the job done in a half of a day. We had a salesman at our house that had incredible and top notch knowledge. They were so on the money.

They were excellent. They are dependable, quick, and do the job. I would recommend them. Their price is a little higher, but they're worth it.

When Ray arrived from Farrell Roofing we brought him into the house to see where the water had leaked in from the chimney. He went up on the roof to have a look around and found nothing wrong with the flashing or the chimney, but did find a hole in the roof where a nail had popped. He took pictures of his discovery, came down to show us and then went back up to seal the hole from above and below the shingle. He refused any payment for what he did! He said he was glad to help and hoped that this solved the problem.... and if it didn't he would come back and look again. This man could not have been any nicer to two complete strangers. If I need roof work I am hiring Farrell Roofing!!! P.S. We think he stopped the leak, we just need to wait for it to rain more to be sure!

They were going to place something to stop the leak with some different roofing material but their prices were a little high.

Dennis was very professional and explained the system. The price was very reasonable since they charge the same price for a peel and stick or felt underlayment. Since we are in a high velocity zone and on the water we did choose a thicker peel and stick underlayment than the type they use and paid the difference.

Loved working with Farrell Roofing, their salesman was so courteous, freely gave so much information & answered all of my questions. As a woman, I really didn't know that much about roofing other than what I had read on the internet & in your booklet. I decided to actually climb up on the roof with all the salemen (much to their surprise) & see for myself what they were talking about. Glad I did. Farrell was the only company that did not try & rip me off. What the other 2 salespeople wanted to do & charge me, Farrell told me I didn't need & it would be a waste of my money. Farrell's quote turned out the be the best of the 3 companies.. After having the roof replaced, we have had several heavy downpours, I have not experience any problems. I would definitely recommend Farrell for any roofing jobs.

I was in class when they came. But my husband texted me and said they were there. They were all dressed with marked shirts and marked vehicles with their company logo. All of our neighbors were impressed. A few hours later, I get a text the roof is done. It was the best decision were ever made using this company. Putting a roof on is probably the biggest expense you can make on a house and we are so glad we picked this company.

I was extremely disappointed that Florida Southern Roofing tried (what I felt) to take advantage of me. Farrell Roofing gave me a really fair price. I will definately be calling them in a few years to replace my roof. Great job Farrell Roofing.

Mr Dennis Mckown came and gave me an estimate for the roofing and explained thoroughly the job that needed to be done. Nevertheless, Mr Mckown called several people he knew work on wood, gave me some ideas on how to minimize cost in couple of projects I have in mind. Unfortunately the lanai needed some wood work done, so I found a company that did both. Very professional, courteous, an outstanding human being. This people are numero 1 on my list when I get around to do the house roof.

We were under a deadline to replace our roof to keep from losing our homeowner's insurance. I called several companies and Farrell was the only one who sent someone out the same day. Dennis came out and gave us an estimate and we were impressed with his honesty and knowledge. He said they could do the job in one day which we found surprising. A couple weeks later, they arrived at 8:00 to install our new roof. They had a huge crew. They took care to cover shrubs, etc. with tarps and protect our property. By 2:00, the job was done. They did an excellent job on the roof and an excellent job cleaning up. We were amazed at how well the job was orchestrated and how quickly they got it done. At one point it started raining as they were removing our old roof. They had some of the guys holding a tarp over the area they were working on while the crew continued on under the tarp. They paid attention to our deadline and came through for us. They far exceeded our expectations in their consideration, professionalism and the quality of their work.

. They were pleasant enough. But they took me to the highest price, on materials on everything right from the start and I was not happy with that. They could not offer me any options per say. I thought he would give me a quote and then if there was a possibility of doing something cheaper he would have mentioned it but he did not. I will not consider them for another estimate in the future.

A very large crew arrived with many trucks. They came with everything they could possibily need and went right to working tearing off the old roof. With so many working the old roof was off and hauled away in a short time. Rotten wood was removed and replaced with new pressure treated wood. The workmanship was good with most joints fitting together nicely. The new roof was applied and a lot of time was spent making sure all nails and scraps were picked up. The eave drip was cleaned all around the edge removing any tar that may have dripped on it. The members of the crew worked together so well that I never knew who the boss was. I had thought that I would have many questions as to what would be replaced and how the work would be done but there was no need for questions. All questionable wood was replaced and the work performed as it should have been.

Wayne was prompt, courteous and very informative. Knowing absolutely nothing about the tile roof on the house I had just purchased he took the time to school me in the care and maintanance of my roof and also did some much needed minor repairs on my roof. No job to small! Thanks Wayne, Joe M.

Outstanding! I discovered the leak on a Thursday, 10 days before I was due to execute military orders overseas, so had a short time to get it repaired. I called several companies from Angie's list, most would not even give me an appointment for an estimate before I had to leave. Farrel came for the estimate the next day (Fri) and I hired them on the spot. The two man crew came on Wednesday and completed the job that evening. Very professional and fast. They showed me every step of the job, matched the color of the current shingles, and cleaned up everything. Could not be happier with the entire experience.

They were very reasonably priced. They did an excellent job. The service people were polite and friendly. They cleaned up well and stuck to their estimate. They were punctual.

It was an excellent experience! They were very good. They said they would not allow me to pay for it until it rained again, and I was sure it was fixed.

They were very nice and I thought that they did a nice job. I got them through my contractor and Tina Farrell was the person that I dealt with. I talked with them an often lot after we got taken in and they got taken in. Whenever they were called to come out and do their portion, they came out and did their portion. I think that their price was fair. The delays were in getting the tile and due to my contractor. I think that my contractor was delaying people because he couldn?t pay them. He didn?t pay Farrell for the whole thing. Tina and I went together in front of the Board to try and get his license taken away. She and I still talk to this day, and when the contractor went bankrupt, we all tried to get the money out of him on his bankruptcy, and of course none of us got a cent.

I found them to be very reasonable with their price for the job they did. They seem to be cheaper than anyone else and our insurance gave us a discount on our homeowners insurance. They did a great thorough job and their clean-up was immaculate. They went as far as to clean up our lawn furniture. We will use them again in the future.

My sister was quite pleased with all aspects of the job including the price, quality of their work, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. They also did a thorough cleaning of the site after they were done with the job. John Bond even called a couple of days later right after a rain storm just to see if the new roof had leaked at all. It had not. Also, while the other Farrell Roofing jobs listed in Angie's List were for much bigger jobs, I very much appreciated the respect they showed my sister throughout the various steps of the job as well as follow-up. Very often, much smaller jobs can turn out to be a bigger problem getting the work done, etc. That was definitely not the case here and that meant a lot to me.
