We just recently had a flat roof replaced by Farrell Roofing. We had used them in the past and they were very professional. This time how ever they were not. They left trash in the back of the house, and damaged the gutters in the back of the house. They had to be called back twice to correct the trash issue left in the back of the house and to properly finish nailing down the roof. When we contacted the company regarding the damage to the gutter that had to be removed we were never contacted back for a resolution of the problem. I don't think I would recommend them to anyone I know and will probably never use them again.

One of his employees stepped thru my ceiling. Repaired and finally painted after several phone calls and weeks. Roofers threw away some of my leaf guard on the gutter and after many phone calls I got no response or repair. Not Happy! This is the second roof I had them do for me and both times they broke something or threw away something they shouldn't have or put dirty second hand parts on my house. Not Happy at all!

WE were very impressed with able and his crew, for being so detailed in the way they went about checking and repairing our 50 year old roof. What a great job they did around the fireplace. The roof has never looked as good as it has now. The Farrells have put together a great roofing company and team. I would tell every one that needs a new roof to call y,all thanks .Also the clean up was like someone took a vacuum cleaner to the yard. you not know that they had even been here.GREAT JOB

Farrell Roofing performed an excellent repair of a roof leak at our home today. Brian Verney and his teammate O.B. quickly identified the cause of the leak and performed a quick and thorough repair in under 2 hours. I have used Farrell Roofing for many years and have always been satisfied with their work.I highly recommend them!

Outstanding Job...I rec'd three bids for the project..Roy from Farrell roofing quoted me a reasonable price....The project was originally scheduled for six weeks away but due to a cancellation, I was able to schedule the project for the following week....The roofing shingles were delivered at 7:30 in the morning and the crew was taking the old shingles off within the hour....A crew of 15 worked on the roof until dark...Then, The next day, 2 guys came back and finished the job by 10 am....It looks awesome!!!!!

This company was a NO show and did not give me a “courtesy” call to let me know. After waiting a few hours, I called to let them know their crew did not show up. Their response was “thanks for letting us know”. They had NO idea their crew was not on the job.... Seriously??? They said someone else would come out within the hour and 7 hours later, a NO show AGAIN!!! Do NOT waste your time with this company. Very Disappointed!!!

Farrell Roofing, Inc., of New Port Richey, FL installed a new barrel tile roof on our home in January, 2017. Three months later there was a leak in the master bath. The job took two callbacks to repair. June 2018 we reported roof leaks to Farrell Roofing in the living room and master bedroom. Farrell Roofing came out to repair. The service tech asked “who did the roof?” Our response “Farrell Roofing.” The service tech informed us that the flashing was IMPROPERLY INSTALLED around the fireplace. Stucco was NOT installed to cover the new flashing that resulted in leaks around the chimney. Farrell replaced the flashing and new stucco around the chimney. Farrell Roofing returned several weeks later to mortar the rooftop. Throughout the process of the original installation, roof repair in the master bath, roof repairs above the living room and master bedroom phone calls were NEVER returned. We had to be responsible for all follow up calls. Service techs showed up without scheduled appointments. During the process we asked an office service representative on several occasions to have Mr. Steve Farrell to call us. Mr. Farrell NEVER called us. Poor quality, poor customer service, and lack of communication starts at the top. It is clear that Mr. Farrell and his company, Farrell Roofing Inc. do not care about quality workmanship, follow up, or customer service. We have a new roof that is approximately 18 months old that has already had three problems/leaks. At the end of the project the master painter showed up without a scheduled appointment. His supervisor was responsible to schedule and confirm the appointment with us. The master painter, Jack M. was very professional and did a very good job. Extremely Unhappy Customer,

Excellent. I used Farrell in May 2010 to repair a leak we discovered the week before we moved overseas. We’ve been out of the area since then and renting the house out. We decided to sell last fall and called Farrell again to do fascia repairs and painting. When the paint crew showed up the foreman, who knew I was going to sell the house, called me to discuss the exterior condition. He sent me several pictures showing deterioration that the tenants had not told me about and recommended repair and repainting that could be done through Team Farrell. I agreed and they got it done within a week. It was a great job and the house sold within a month for more than asking price. The crew was professional and I really appreciate the fact the foreman went the extra mile to call me and make recommendations to help sell. Great company. Thank you

This is my second review on this company. Dustin came to the house on time, identified the leaks and fixed them. He also provided me with an estimate on a new roof. Dustin was highly professional and efficient. I am 100% satisfied, and going to book an appointment to replace my old roof. Again, I was not charged for the roof repair. Their work is fantastic. They came out with 16 people. They did everything in less than 8 hours and did a fantastic job. They surround your house with tarps and when they're through they remove them and there's absolutely nothing anywhere.

Crew started about noon,finished about 6. Found additional problems that were promptly addressed. Excellent good.

never showed up NOT GOOD BUSINESS so far i waited and never came twice i missed two days of work thanks team farrell for costing me 500.... i called friday and got a appointment for monday took off work monday they never showed up i called they said i wasn't in the schedule i said i called friday and you guys said someone will be out monday and call me 45 min before never got a call so i called they said they could get someone out tomorrow which was tuesday took off work for tuesday now to and again no one showed up again called back tuesday and they said i wasn't in the schedule again that they don't know what happen but i can get you in for saturday now they say over a week from the first day i called and scheduled a appointment i am very upset with losing the 2 days of work and with the farrell company... i will be taking all my remodeling, roofing and construction jobs elsewhere for now on if this is the way a future customer is going to be treated...... i had the same problem the person just wrote a long review about and like others have said they are very unreliable.... like that other guy said if you like losing days of work and time and money because they don't do their jobs or schedule the appointments right this company is for you.

Farrell roofing had repaired roof leaks for us for many years . So when is was time to replace the roof we naturally called them. They were professional at every step. They explained the process thoroughly, Quoted a fair price, and arrived on time on the scheduled day. Within minutes of their arrival , a team of at lease 30+ people were on the roof . Some were covering landscaping, placing plywood against the windows to protect them, and removing the barrel tiles from the roof. They had a project manager on site the whole time . They had several trucks coming in to haul away the old tiles. The worked from early morning until after dark and had almost all the work done. the roof was replaced and there was only a few touch up things left . They came back the next morning to finish up. During the whole process they were cleaning up . when they left on day one there wasn't anything left on the driveway. No Nails , No Screws No debris at all. They even had someone come back to touch up any paint on the chimney . And they were very reasonably priced. ( We were told by another company that they would take a week at least and the cost a hauling away the tiles would be extra.) Farrell roofing quoted a fair price with NO additional or hidden costs. . I should add that we had them replace a roof on my mothers home several years ago and we were totally satisfied with that job We highly recommend this company.

Farrell was quick to respond, on time and willing to work with an oit of town landlord. Professional.

The choice was between two companies: one was a little more expensive, Farrell a little less, but they wanted to charge up to $500 to replace any bad wood--we agreed to my paying up to $250. So imagine my surprise when I have the check ready for $5850 which included the extra $250 and they tell me the bill is $900 higher. I refused to pay, so we're probably headed for court. If that works for you, they do an excellent job.

Has never seen such an efficient crew. Was hard to tell who the foreman was as he did not have to give any orders. Everyone kept moving from task to task without need of instructions. In 5.5 hours they ripped my old clay tile roof, fixed the wood that needed to be replaced and placed a high quality GAF shingle roof that earned me $500 insurance credit. My only regret is not having it done before. Highly recommend

Farrell installed a new roof in 2014. After suffering through the home being extremely hot through the summer of 2015, and In preparation for the hot weather being here soon, I had someone check my attic. It was discovered that the roofers had shingled over the opening underneath the ridge vents they had installed and there was no way for the attic heat to escape. I called Farrell Roofers to schedule an appointment to have the problem checked out. They failed to respond to my request. I had to hire another roofer to fix Farrell's mistakes. So, even though Farrell had been paid in full for the install of my roof, they refused to provide any type of service to correct their mistakes. My recommendation is :if you hire a contractor, and there is a new roof in the plans, ask who is going to be doing your roof. If the answer is Farrell, say No Thanks. If your relationship with your contractor doesn't end in his satisfaction, Farrell will not stand behind their work.

Ihave a small single story home that needed two flat roof areas resurfaced. It appears that the quality of workmanship is good, but unfortunately I have been extremely disappointed in how this company has handled my business. I was given an estimate for $2,895 and had expected some additional charges for replacement wood, after a discussion with their representative, Wayne Stewart. In his description he stated that a portion of the soffit at one side would need to be repaired, a small area of rotten wood in the front, and possibly some in the rear. When the team came to complete the project there was no mention of unexpected or extensive repairs needing to be done, and no one contacted me to show me the work in progress. They did, however, present me with a bill for 150% of the original estimate ($4,245), stating they had used 312 linear feet of wood to repair my roof, at a cost of $4.25 per foot. They also said they would be sending a company representative in person on that day to collect payment. I was totally taken by surprise and requested an explanation, which they said would be referred to a supervisor. Meanwhile, I personally measured all areas of new wood replacement that could be easily seen, as well as an estimate from photos they sent me via email for an area covered by the new surface. I have had 3 independent witnesses do the same, and we have all come to the same conclusion, that Farrell Roofing has greatly overstated the amount of wood used. I requested a company representative come to my property to inspect and explain, but when Wayne Farrell arrived, he was immediately rude, aggressive, dismissive and refused to discuss the details of work completed. His only suggestion was that I could pay them to rip off the roof and inspect what was underneath, he then walked away saying he wasn't going to discuss anything and drove off. I am a calm, well-mannered 5 ft woman and he is a big, intimidating man, so I don't think there was any threat to his safety that warranted such unprofessional and unhelpful treatment to a customer. By the way, I have already paid Farrell Roofing the estimate amount of $2,895, so I feel the least they can do is provide me with an explanation for why they didn't give me forewarning of their greatly increased fees, and the courtesy of a professional and informative visit from a representative to discuss their excessive additional billing.

Originally performed 6/2012 roof repairs and they do provide a 1 yr. warranty shortly after a year, I had reoccurring issue at same location. They came out and said since it was out of warranty, they did some additional repairs. This month, we returned from vacation and had leaks in the exact same places that had previously repaired twice. When they came out, we had aleak in the front of the house. The 2nd leak was in our family room where we had water coming into the room and leaking on the floor. These were the exact locations they had repaired in the past.The original problem was never really repaired. I called and talked to them and they argued that it was out of warranty. I asked to speak to someone else. They offered to send an estimator out to come out which wasn't satisfactory.I sent a letter to C. Farrell on 8/6 and haven't gotten a response.I have since had 2 other contractors out and they say the problem is on the flashing on the roof. They replaced valleys and some underlayment sheeting that was part of the damage. The valleys have not corrected the problem.
