Boyle's Aluminum & Screening

We rated Boyles Aluminum and Screening with an A, but would give them a higher grade if available. 1. This is a family owned business, unusual these days. We met both brothers, Craig and Eric, who demonstrated friendliness, courteousness, knowledge and experience. They both clearly took pride in their work. 2. We were presented with multiple detailed options, and they were patient while making choices. We never felt rushed or pushed into anything. 3. Pricing was reasonable for high quality workmanship and craftsmanship. Any potential extra charges were discussed prior to the start of the job. 4. They offer high quality supplies, are a licensed dealer , and their product comes with associated guarantees. 5. Top quality workers and workmanship. The screening is impeccable, not a wrinkle or gap! And the aluminum work was seamless and gapless, very high quality! The job site crew chief, Josh, was always willing to take time to respectfully and knowledgeably answer any questions we had along the way. Each day they cleaned up, and left no mess or trash on site. 6. Eric and Craig were very easy to communicate with, always responded within 24 hours and often much sooner. We were able to communicate easily by phone and online. They addressed any concerns immediately. We give Boyles Aluminum and Screening a full recommendation, without reservation, in fact, we rehired them to return next month to replace our gutters, soffits, and apply new aluminum fascia covers around our entire house.

Great job very professional and very neat!

Although the work was done a few days later than scheduled, this was not due to the fault of the contractor, but bad weather. Once the rain let up, they were there quickly on the premises and completed the work. They had done previous work for me and this was no different. Very professional, worked quickly and did a great job. There was some touch up that was needed and they returned quickly to complete my request. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Terry arrived on time and we proceeded to walk the property as I explained what I was looking for. Shortly after our initial contact I received a very professional quote where all Boyle's work was clearly laid out. I chose another company from Angies list due to the cost submitted by Boyle's. In fairness Boyle's quoted 7" gutters and 4x5 downspouts where all the other providers quoted 5" guttering as being adaquate except around pool area where they also quoted 7" guttering. Rescreening of the pool was also somewhat higher then the other providers. I really wanted to use Boyle's but with such a price difference I just couldn't justify the additional cost.

Excellent workmanship, and quality of products. No problems. I have used this company in the past to replace gutters around home. Outstanding company. Trustworthy.

The technicians arrived early on morning they stated they would come in phone call nearly a month earlier. They worked on the railing cuts out by their truck to avoid metal shavings around the pool area after which they connected the two identical sets of railings in two separate locations into the existing pavers. They also shored an existing horizontal railing on the upper lanai. Workmanship was excellent. I did suggest dustpan and brush for bits of shavings on the steps rather than a blower, which would have put the shavings into the pool.

All went well, they started on time and finished the same day. When the service man arrived we went over the job again to make sure the doors were spaced they way I wanted and the type of screening to be used was confirmed. When they finished there was no mess left behind. It looks nice and I have had lots of compliments from my neighbors on the new outdoor room. We have been enjoying these lovely days out there free from bugs etc.

This review is long overdue. They did a quality job and were easy to deal with. The only drawback was that it took a few weeks to get the job scheduled as they are very busy. They were professional about scheduling and following up. I would highly recommend them. It turned out great and was completed on time and for the cost quoted. I see them often doing work in my subdivision.

I had two quotes lower than that given by Craig; both quotes entailed gutters and the re-screening. Boyles was, however, lower on the gutters as a stand-alone item, so once my husband and I determined that they did a great job on our gutters, spoke with Craig about matching the quote of 'Reliable Screens' (that given for JUST the rescreening) which he was willing to do. The third (lowest bid) he would not 'match', citing that he was fairly certain they use undocumented laborers whereas Boyles does not. Work started with 'Dave' ('Super Dave') coming to power wash on a set day. He was on time, personable and professional. The rescreening was to start on a Monday. The day dawned as a soggy one and only one individual was sent. He got permission to stop working when it rained and my husband and I were a bit dismayed when he didn't utilize the remainder of that day (as the weather cleared completely). He returned Tuesday with another fellow, both of whom worked through a long day of taking down the old screening, putting up the new, re-anchoring and cleaning the work site. I was pleased that Jarod, whom these fellows both report to (?), came to review the work several days after it was completed and to hear first-hand my/our perception of Boyles work. The rescreen looks great and all doors are performing as if new. I would hire Boyles without reservation but am glad (and would recommend) they continue to stay financially competitive in order to show off their ability and garner good will and future referrals.

Arrived on time, worked efficiently, no messes.

We were extremely pleased with Boyle's --- their planning, engineering and construction were outstanding.

It took a few weeks from signing the agreement to installation but that was no problem for us. Everything was exactly as we had specified (color, gauge of mesh screen etc) and the workmen were friendly and easy to work with. The clean up was exemplary and we are very pleased with the result. PS. The people at the office are great too. Boyle's installed a doggie door for us last year which developed a crack. One call to the office and it was replaced quickly.

For start to finish, Boyles is what you'd expect any good ,reputable home improvement company. Communication was very good from getting a quote down to the final install. I initially had Boyles out to install new gutters due tot he fact we had our roof replaced recently and we tore out the old dilapidated gutters. Eric Boyle came out, quoted me the new gutters, and took a look at my pool cage as well, per my request. Eric was very professional and informative about he product and process. I decided right away to go with the gutter job since the price was right (quoted elsewhere as well) and they had colors and *important* gutter guards I liked to keep the new gutters clean from debris. Eric got back to me with a price on the pool cage and addressed every issue I had with the old cage, so I could confidently move forward and place the order for a new cage. I had a 1970's flat top old poll cage (linigh) that attached to the house poorly (under the soffits) that was in dire need of replacement. The problem was the amount of pine needles, leaves and other debris that constantly collected on top of the flat screen cage. The debris also collected under the soffits due to the lousy engineering of the old system. I had to painfully clean the top of the pool cage many times per year and it was not fun! The cage also cover other areas of the pool are porch that had no porch roof. Eric brilliantly suggested they could install roof panels to cover these areas to extend my covered porch a bit. They came out fairly quickly after the quote and installed my new gutters. There was a couple concerns I had (my own preferences) and they took care of them with no problems, and I got gutters to my 100% satisfaction. The new pool cage was to come after. Got a call a month or so later to remove the old cage and install the new one. The entire process was smooth. Again I had a couple issues of getting things how I wanted them (specific details). They obliged and performed the work until i was satisfied. I came home form work the day the cage was finally installed and I was blown away at how much better our pool are looks, my house feels, and how much quality and care was put into the install. They did a perfect job! That' what it's all about in my opinion. Good companies are ones who do what it takes to overcome any issues throughout the process to satisfy the customer. There will always be some kind of issue when we purchase improvements, or new things. Its how the company handles them. Boyles handled everything well and I couldn't be happier. I've already reccoemended them to a few other people, and have another cage replacement waiting for them right away!

In December Eric, one of the owners of Boyle's, came out to the house to give us an estimate on the work to be done. He was on time, explained what needed to be done, took pictures, and was a true professional. A few days later an estimate was e-mailed to us which we accepted and work on the house would take one day but they were booked until the middle of January. We agreed to wait until January 14th 2015 to have the work done. On the 14th of January two gentlemen from Boyle's came to do the work. I'm so very glad that we were home because no one from the company called to confirm that they would be at our house to do the job. Anyhow, the workers immediately got to work being very mindful of our property and cleaned up after completing the job. We were very pleased with the work and would use Boyle's Aluminum & Screening again. Thank you Boyle's for the great job !!!!!!!

We have used Boyle's several times at our home. Each time they have been very professional and knowledgeable, always getting the job done right the first time. I wouldn't hesitate referring this company to any of my family/friends, they are top-notch!

All went well. The Boyle Crew arrived promptly on both days, were professional and accomplished their work in a timely and efficient manner. I will use their services again in the future as needed.

Gave knowledgable recommendations to improve our runoff problem. Installers were prompt,polite,and they made me feel comfident in the work they were doing.This is the 3rd time we used Boyles and will continue to do so.

Excellent and professional service from my first phone inquiry through completion of the job. They were on time for the estimate and scheduling was done quickly once we received an okay from our H.O.A. committee to do the work. They supplied nice CAD drawings with the estimate that I was able to use with my H.O.A. application for the work. The installers were professional and arrived on schedule. I would recommend Boyle's to anyone that has screening work that needs to be done.

They knocked it out on a Saturday. In the following months we had some bad storms and leaks appeared. Craig came out numerous times during the following weather issues over a matter of months. and now it looks to be just fine. I have to hand it to Craig and his office people. They offered no excuses for problems. They just made it right. It's now coming up on a year and all appears to be well.

Gosh, the best detail I can give is that the work was done according to schedule, and completed in the same manor. Boyle's Aluminum also worked carefully on our pool deck. They were very careful not to damage the pavers recently added. Drop cloths were added to catch all debris. The new covering is beautiful, and will last a lifetime. A leak was discovered along the gutter line, which was quickly repaired. I would not hesitate to use Boyle's for any services in the future!

They did a great job. They came on the date as promised, finished as promised. Their work area was cleaned up and neat. They did an overall great job. We would definitely use them again.

Craig never called us or sent an e-mail estimate for anything we requested. I called and left messages for him on at least two different occasions requesting the estimates. I also went to his Tarpon Springs business location myself and spoke with an office assistant, who assured me Craig would be told about my request. Craig first came to our house on April 17th to get details for the estimates and I finally gave up trying to contact him after three attempts, including personally going to his office on May 28th, 2014. If he decided not to do the job, Craig should of at least extended the courtesy of calling me, rather than me wasting my time trying to get the estimates from him. Very unprofessional in my opinion. At least he showed up on time for the initial visit.

Incredibly good, Scary to see bird cage detached from house. The end produce eliminated 13 years of flooding during down pours. Wish I'd done this 12 years ago.

I contacted them by email Wednesday evening explaining what we needed and that the most important thing was replacing 1 door handle as it was unusable. Danielle sent me a reply before 7am asking what color handle did I need and to call he so she could try to arrange for someone to come by. I didn't get the email until late in the afternoon so I called & apologized - she said they had 2 people out the following day but she would schedule it ASAP. To my shock, Billy P. called saying he was 10 minutes away and was coming to do the handle and screens. I was ecstatic!!! He needed to go back to the shop to get a wider pet screen material so I called and asked Danielle if Billy could replace both handles. Billy returned and did the entire job and was done by about 4:45pm. I was amazed and didn't expect them to fit the entire job in at all - I would have just been grateful to have the handle fixed. Even neater was when I tried the new handles - unbelievable the difference!! If you are putting up with old sticky handles on your lanai doors or screens with holes - CALL Boyles!! It's a shame that we waited so long!
