Response from Plumbing Dr II
Mr [Member Name Removed]called our office and had a high water bill. A few months before there had been a car accident in his yard and he was sure this was related. We arrived on site and the water meter was spinning. This indicated there was indeed a leak. We tried to turn the water off at the house, but the shut off was not working, so we replaced shut off and relief valve. Once we able to turn the water off to house, the meter was not spinning. This indicates the leak is inside the house. We determined Mr [Member Name Removed]had a slab leak. We suggested he contact a leak detection company. Mr [Member Name Removed]called back a few days later and said he did not believe us. This had to be related to the car accident. I sent the owner of the company out the 2nd time, who did confirm it was a slab leak. We again advised Mr [Member Name Removed]to call a leak detection company. We never heard from him again, except when he posted this review. The $150 charged to Mr [Member Name Removed]was for 1 hours work plus a new 3/4" sharkbite ball valve and a new 3/4" relief valve. Description of Work: My task for Plumbing Doctor II was an install of a new kitchen faucet. The phone arrangements clear, the time set, and the task completed to my great satisfaction within an hour. Any number of plumbing problems may crop up in the future. I will be calling the Plumbing Dr II and staff.

Description of Work: They installed a new kitchen faucet, redid the supply line to the ice maker, updated/replaced connections under the kitchen sink, installed a new backflow preventer, and put a new cartridge in a bathroom sink faucet. Materials supplied included in their bill were: supply line to ice maker, new connections under the sink, backflow preventer, and the bathroom sink faucet cartridge. RE: Promptness - service was delayed due to several (unpredicted) emergency commitments they had to take care of. But they did call us to let us know about their situation.

We went out to (Member name removed) house to look at the job. After thoroughly researching what needed to be done, we decided not to bid the job. We called (Member name removed) and left a voice mail indicating we would not be bidding the job. Since we were not bidding the job, there was no proposal to send.

Description of Work: I had a maze of plumbing and filters beneath the sink of the used house I bought and the water and ice from ice despensor of my new refrigerator was cloudy. I called and a tech actually arrived on my door step in less than a half hour. He cleaned up that mess and gave me some advice on some other issues, which I will call them back for.

Description of Work: I recommend these folks whole-heartedly. Two fellows, Brian and Mike, came to my house to remove some polybutelene (sp) pipe and replace it with upgraded PVC. The job required removal of the old pipe, replacement with new pipe, connecting to the hot water heater, and checking for leaks. The job was done speedily and without leaks. In addition, these people were personable and knowledgeable and neat. Total time spent on the job was @ three hours. I am a well-satisfied customer.

I highly recommend this company. We called them at about 9:30 am and they had someone at our home by about 11 am. The plumber called to tell us when he was on his way. He was professional, courteous and did the repair quickly and very efficiently. The price quoted was the price we paid. We are highly satisfied with their work and will use them in the future.
