Description of Work: GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE |WAY TO HIGH COMPARED TO EVERYONE ELSE AND THEY HAVE A LOT OF BAD REPORTS AGAINST THEM

Description of Work: I scheduled the work to be done and gave them a $1250 deposit. When I attempted to contact the sales rep, his cell phone # was disconnected. I had to contact the office for information. They had the rep call me back. He acted as if he forgot who I was. I had to remind him by refreshing his memory of our meeting. Not really good up front PR. Not a great confidence builder when you're paying for a privacy fence. The work was done. However, I had to clean up the messes the workers left in the driveway (spilled gravel and concrete). One supervisor called me and told me that it was "industry standard" for workers to leave the dirt they unearthed laying around in piles, which the front office disagreed with. I suggested they get 5' x 5' plastic sheeting to put the dirt on, instead of just raking it over the grass for the rain to wash down and either re-use the dirt to fill in the holes completely or (in my case) fill in holes in the yard, which I could have assisted them in doing (and ended up doing myself in large part). The crew had to come back out to replace damaged parts that were originally installed by them, which I believe they should have caught without my having to point it out and complain to them. You get that feeling that someone is trying to "get away" with something when they fail to completely ferret out defective or damaged parts and just install them anyway. The front office however was courteous and handled my disputes in a prompt manner, so I cannot completely fault them for being the problem. Their workers are not supervised on-site however, which could be problematic if you're not right on top of them. The sales rep never came back out to see if we were satisfied. When you spend $4200 on fencing, the least you'd expect is follow-up. The front office did call me to check to make sure everything was okay and I paid them in full only after I knew they had fixed what they needed to fix. Not all of the holes dug were completely filled in and I am still doing that. I even referred this company to my next-door neighbors (during the installation), who were talking to another company but weren't happy with the responses they were getting to their inquiries. I gave them a "B" because of the on-site issues and having to have them come back out to replace parts they should have caught in the first place. There are still scuff marks on some of the fencing, which will probably come off with a thorough cleaning with a Mr. Clean eraser. At least the fence is under warranty, which is a saving grace in of itself. The fee charged was ballpark average when compared with other bids we got. It is sad that the front office is the only customer service feedback you get and not the sales rep, who probably made a commission off of this. I should also note that it is difficult finding decent contractors of any sort in Florida that actually do the work they say they'll do in a timely fashion, largely in part due to the housing crisis and that many of them moved away to work in other locales. Many of them are drinkers, who show up late with hangovers, if at all. At least this company DID do the work, despite the issues, so that's why they got a higher grade from me. Anyone using this service is encouraged to keep a strict and constant, open line of communication with this contractor and their front office. I would probably recommend them to others, with the foregoing caveats. They do actually DO the work, which in Florida says a lot.

Description of Work: We had an appointment scheduled and they did not show. They rescheduled for the next day after we called them. We decided to use another vendor in the area USA Fencing. Very dependable and excellent work.
