Description of Work: Took out the old cracked concrete driveway and installd a new one -- changing the outline slightly to leave more room for a beautiful live oak, and adding a decorative border. It was beautiful, and certainly added to the salability of the house. I only wish I'd done it sooner!

Description of Work: Albert Waugh is unprofessional and unreliable. He stated he would give me a quote and then stopped returning all calls and wasted my time. I am very grateful I didn't go with him. If he is this unprofessional in a quote could you imagine how he would be if things went wrong in a job?

Description of Work: We initially called Albert for a project which involved a very large driveway for our mid-century modern home that needed repainting. We purchased the 3 years ago and sometime between 1960 and the present the driveway was painted blue. Over the years the paint has peeled and it looks as if there was an attempt to paint a section white and then it was stopped. When Albert came for the bid he admitted that he was not the right guy to do the work, since they specialize in repouring or decorative stamping and we were not willing to spend that amount of money because we intent to sell the home in a few years. He did give us a quote for removing some badly damaged concrete and it was very reasonable. He also referred us to another company that he thought would be better suited for what we wanted to do. That company was out today and we are waiting for their bid. Albert is an honest guy that cares about his work. He is very responsive and I would definitely recommend him.

+ 0 moreAlbert is very professional and artistic about what he does. He knows what he is doing and obviously has some very good people working for him. He was the only person I called and I didn't bother to get any other quotes. He knew what I wanted - without even asking! I would gladly reccomend him to anyone who needed any concrete work done.
Description of Work: Pulled up old brick pathway and replaced with beautiful "red brick" stained stamped concrete walkway from street to side of house. Used left over bricks to finish off small sitting area in other side of house - making it usable. And also poured a parking slab - Finally I don't have to tramp through the mud getting in and out of my car.

+ 0 moreThey did a terrific job! The driveway looks absolutely great! He offered us supports for the sides of the driveway, which no other company offered to do. Also, when I was not completely confident in the driveway being too close to me neighbor, they came right out and to move it (pre-pouring).
Description of Work: He poured and repaired some of our present driveway, and also poured new. It took about a week in total.

+ -1 moreAlbert was very easy to get in touch with throughout the project. He was the most expensive quote I received by about $200, but I felt more comfortable with him and his experience than the others. They came out and prepped the area one day and poured the concrete the next. Everything went smoothly from a customers perspective even though they had problems they had to deal with. On the way to my home their trailer with the Georgia Buggy (large motorized wheel barrow used to move the concrete) flipped and was destroyed. It also dumped the dirt they intended to use to level the area. They were able to get a new buggy in time for the concrete, and filled the area with concrete (creating a VERY thick slab) without charging me extra. I have had many contractors quoting other jobs I am planning, and almost all have asked who did the concrete because of the excellent work. I was happy, but didn't fully appreciate what a fine job Albert Waugh Concrete did until others "in the know" commented on it and told me.
