I have no complaints. The sales rep explained to me what they will do over the year. He told me that it will take time to get results and that Scotts will take care of me. They have done exactly that. I have significant change in color and a lot less weeds. The tech is very friendly and really tries hard to do his best. The customer service agents are very polite and they seem like they are all on the same page. They even give discounts if you recommend someone.

Disappointing. Never really started dealing with my concern about the brown patches, So without a start, there was no finish. UPDATE: Gotten much better. Service has improved and so has responsiveness. 11/11/14

I've used Scotts Lawn Service for four years. Their price, quality, and punctuality are good.

They haven’t done my lawn for approximately a year and half right now. They charge about $49 a month. It is well controlled I don’t have any bugs not that I can see but the weeds are still there in fact they are worsening out that they have ever been. I’m not getting the weed treatment. I’m going to quit the company.

I hired them for cinch bug removal and I paid them for a year and they did not get rid of my cinch bugs despite repeated treatments. They didn’t do what they were hired to do. I don't recommend them to anybody.

Lawn went downhill last year due to grubs while they were applying an incorrect pesticide. Their answer to any problem is "Lawn Airation" which they push aggressively. In desperation , I submitted to a an airation but the machine ripped up the lawn. After several months of arguing, they re-sodded at their expense. Sadly, they used Palmetto grass and not St. Augustine and installed it incorrectly. Their loss mitigation department is ruthless and it will always be "your fault." This year I again experienced grass weakening and I will have to re-sod again. An interesting fact is that all of my neighbors including adjacent properties apply NOTHING to their lawn and have no problems. During the last 6 months they have tried to sneak in an airation by any means possible. I have twice caught an unauthorized airation subcontractor preparing to airate and have sent them away. Furthermore, I continue to get calls informing me that they are comming out for my" annual airation dispite that I have told them that I am not interested" I find them less then honest.

Very well. If I have a problem they come back and don't charge.

They show up on time every month, put little indicators in the ground that they sprayed, and give me a report that all is good. But, there are huge brown spots in my lawn and it is dying. My plants that they also treat have very noticeable scales problem. When I call to talk to them, no one calls back or it is delayed days. When I last spoke to them they said, it should get better, just wait 2 weeks. Two weeks later, still just as bad. I called them back to talk them. One week goes by and they do not call back. They come out again and once again tell me all is fine. I can't seem to get anyone there to care. I am calling to cancel my service. The only thing they seem to do right is show up and send me a bill. I am highly disappointed.

Contracted with Scotts' Lawn Service, over the phone, on a Monday, for treatment of chinch bug infestation of my lawn. Was told someone would be out that week to initiate series of treatments. Told salesman that I'd need a half hour notice prior to treatment, as I have dogs that need to be confined prior to visit. On Friday am, got an automated voice mail that someone would be showing up within the "next two days" to apply treatment. No one came, either day. Sunday, called, got notice to call again during business hrs. Fair enough. Monday - called again, was assured that a technician would be "out" tomorrow, Tuesday. Again, reiterated that I needed lead time to resolve the dog situation. Tuesday - No one called early am, cancelled lunch appt, as I really needed to get going with the lawn problem. 2:00 pm, no one called, showed up. 3:30 PM, called SCOTTs, was told "the guy who was supposed to do you today called in sick" I informed the phone person that I'd be leaving for work at 3:00 pm. She was apologetic, said, "Let me see if I can get someone there in 15 minutes." I said, c"call me back in 15 minutes." She didn't - finally contacted me an hour later, offered to do first treatment free, but I told her that there was no way I was going to be doing business with a firm that had so little disregard for its customers. In my experience with contractors over a good many years, it's probable that this is an indication of their customer service in general.

They are very good and I have got the best lawn in the block. The grass looks really good. I think it was $35 for the last service. I have been really happy with them.

It’s gone well so far. I have found that they try to come out to much though. As for the insect and weed control, I don’t think you can beat what they do! I don’t think that the products that they use are open to the public for use.

I am very happy with them. My lawn looks good. They call ahead of time. They leave me paperwork letting me know what they have done and what my follow up should be. They are very detailed and professional with their information. The price is per month.

It turned out fine. They showed up and they did it. They are relaible.

Some days it is good and some days it is not so good, depending on the technitian. If the person who came to the prorpty is a good hardworker than it is a good job. If not than it is a bad job and you have to call them back out.

I was good. They show up when they are supposed to. They fertilize the lawn. It is a good experience. I had a problem with the scaly bug. I could never get them under control with another company that I used. Scotts couldn’t get them under control either. The only problem was that when I signed up with them, they said that they would come out every week if needed. It wasn’t true. If they came out more than once they would charge me more for it. The price is per quarter.

It has turned out fine. I have had them for a couple years. They come on schedule. They have been requested to call before they come so I can put the dog inside.

They are fine. I have only had one bad experience where he sprayed weed killer on my plants. They replanted half of my yard when they died. Eveyrthing was fine. That was about two years ago. They do come up to the door before they spray to tell me what they are going to do and ask if there are any problems. If I ask them to skip a week they will do that.

I have received a bill for $89.00. I sent them a check for $45.00 and the company turned us over to collection agency. I could have fertilized my lawn for far less than $89.00, and bought lots of weed killer as well. I am not a novice to lawn care. I am busy running my own business and do not have time to "weed an feed" and Scott's Lawn Service is falsely promising to provide lawn care. They require a 12 month contract to spray liquid fertilizer on the lawn rather than treat the real problem. I do not feel that they are a legitimate operation. I had to hire a pest control company that treated the lawn for sod webworm and the problem was corrected in two weeks. No false promises, just a careful inspection of the lawn and proper diagnosis and treatment.

I hired Scotts about 15 months ago. They have come every month or so to treat my lawn. It is nice and green - that is what is left of it. It started to develop large brown areas this past spring. The technician always said "it will be better after this treatment" - but it got worse and worse. Finally, in July, I called to cancel the service. I immediately received 3 calls from 3 separate individuals all offering to reinstate the service and to give me a "free treatment". I agreed, but only if they sent their grass expert out to diagnose exactly what was causing the brown areas because the technicians who perform the monthly spraying are clearly not experts. All three of the callers said they would be out to inspect my grass - but it has been 6 weeks now and I am still waiting!! I did receive 2 calls from 2 other Scotts employees saying since I was such a good customer they wanted to tell me about a new service they were offering only to the very best customers etc. etc. Don't waste your money!

When discontinued services this company submitted me to a collection agency for bills I did not owe. I am having to fight to save my credit standing.

The service people are very polite and efficient. They call me the day before they spray, so I can remove my pets. They never leave debris in the yard. They keep a good schedule and show up on time. They are very fairly priced.

They are very professional. They call the day before they come and also ring your doorbell so you know it is them on your property. They have eliminated all the weeds on my lawn and my trees and shrubs are doing much better than before. The only complaint is that they are a bit high in price for what they do. They always charge for 2 separate treatments. Insect and fertilization.

Crew is NOT at all knowledgeable about lawns. I hired them to do quarterly maintenance. They immediately over fertilized and killed a huge patch of grass in the front and back yards. They came and put new sod over the dead areas, which was great, but two months later they DID IT AGAIN! I have now cancelled the service. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Very good. They discuss lawn condition and needs over the phone in detail. The application person who comes home listens to concerns and applies exactly the right treatment. They turned around my lawn and made it look green within 3 months.

IT HAS BEEN FANTASTIC. WHEN I CALLED THEM, THEY CALLED ME RIGHT BACK. THEY ALWAYS SHOW WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO. THE WORK THEY DO IS GOOD. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM.
