Description of Work: We have a very large mango tree in a somewhat smallish backyard space. The tree has some issues with rot and damage from previous trimmings and we also had some concerns with a large branch that was overhanging our house. | |Given the current economic climate I am constantly amazed at the lack of response and professionalism given by many small companies out there regardless of their industries. However this was not the case with Sherlock. When I made the initial phone call I was put through to voice mail and I left a message. My inquiry was returned in a timely manner and an appointment was made. The gentleman that came to our property was very professional and knowledgable. He put some of our concerns to rest and made suggestions that made perfect sense without up-selling unnecessary services. Work was scheduled and completed just as requested. We received a bill in the mail a week later and we mailed back a check.

Description of Work: They were a very professional company. Knew everything about the trees and how best to address the options that we wanted. We decided not to do the work at this time.

Description of Work: Jim was prompt, professional and took the time to discuss the health of all of our trees. We will not hesitate to use his company again.

Description of Work: I've always used Jim Sherlock as our Tree Service person. I've lived in South Florida 12 years & use him to trim our trees every 2 years. He's an excellent and knowledgeable Tree expert, a true Arborist. He will let me know when his schedule is backed up & when he will be in my area, which means his prices will be better. Through out the years, I've had neighbors tell me how good my trees look & that they call Sherlock but that he was expensive...I've always told them it's because he's not a "lawn service" that trims trees...he's a tree service company with all of the right equipment and knowledge to do the job right.
