Re-Appliance

I called at around 10am that morning and the repairman came at 3:30pm that same day. Once the dual valve was replaced the leak stopped and the refigerator is now working normally. The whole operation took 20 mins and was carried out efficiently and neatly.

We just bought our house on 8/23 and moved in on 8/24. We noticed that the refridgerator was running but that it was not cooling. We looked up service providers on Angie's List and saw that Re-Appliance was well rated. We called at 930am and were told that someone would be out before noon. We provided the model number of the fridge. The repairman came out and quickly identified that the heating element was no longer working and spent the time to defrost the coils and install the element. The work took no longer than 30-45 minutes. The repairman explained what had happened and what he did to fix it. He also explained that it would take about 24 hours for the temperature to equalize. A day later we noticed that the fridge was not running or cooling, a simple power cycle restored function and the fridge is working well now.

Freezer on our Sub Zero refrigerator stopped working over the weeked. Contacted RE-Appliance on Monday morning and Robert was able to come out that afternoon. I was told Robert would be able to service the refigerator prior to 3:00 pm and I would receive a call when he was on his way to our house. Received a call early that afternoon from Robert that he was on his way and would arrive within a half hour which he did. He replaced the condenser loop underneath the freezer without having to remove the refrigerator and tilt it on its side. Previous company I used to repair the freezer failed to correct the problem and when they came back out told me I would have to move the refrigerator out into the middle of the kitchen and tilt it on its side and then call them and they would come back and make the repair. Needless to say I decided not to use them not only because of that but because the previous work that was performed was not to my standards. I joined Angie's List for the soul purpose of finding a company that would work on the Sub Zero because anyone who owns one knows how difficult it is to fine a reputable appliance repair company. Start to finish was flawless!

Robert called in advance to let me know an approximate time for his arrival. I had a problem with my double oven that the cooling fan would not shut off. He found a temp sensor that apparently was not installed correctly from a previous repair company. The oven now works fine. I felt he was very patient on answering my questions . I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I of course used Angie's List. Of the five other top places that I looked at, two would not do Broward County, one was out of town, one didn't do weekend service (neither did Sears), I called Re-Appliance at 9:40am Sat morn. They said they couldn't make it till noon, only 2 hours away. Seriously, only a two hour wait on a Saturday from call to arrival, I think I can live with that (LOL). He arrived early at 11:30, immediately diagnosed the problem, fixed it, was done and out the door in 30 minutes. Quick to arrive, quick to fix, and price was good. Now that's the way business should be. Also the cheapest of the "Estimate Fee" of only $50, and of course that was blended into the bill. Button was $155, with 6% tax became $164. And now I can get on with my Saturday, instead of sitting around for the usual "A technician will arrive between 8am-8pm" bit that we all hate. Thanks Robert. If we have issues again, we will certainly call you.

The service man was ill so he sent someone from another company. The repairman arrived on time. Got right to work. Kept me informed through the entire process and successfully repaired my Whirlpool oven.

A disappointment:The window for the appointment was 9-12. Technician came at 12PM. The fee was $85 to look at two appliances. Technician's advice on the first appliance was to buy a new clothes washer; no repairs were done. The price he gave me and agreed to on the second appliance was $250 to repair a refrigerator ice dispenser, replace a water valve, and install a new $40 water filter. When the work was done the technician charged me $227.90 for the water valve and filter only. The explanation given was the replacement ice dispenser part he had on hand was broken. He told me when he left, if I wanted him to return to finish the installation the cost would be $125 (parts, transportation and labor). This amounts is $100 more than what I agreed to. I feel I was overcharged for what little was done. You can be sure I will never call them again.

He corrected some work from a previous repair as well as repair the dishwasher as needed.

Called Re-Appliance after reading several good reviews here. My wife was given appointment within two days. Quote was for dishwasher installation - $129. Rob came and removed old dishwasher, carried new, boxed unit in from garage, unpacked it, did installation, cleaned up, and hauled away our old unit (I was not expecting this - was expecting to store in our garage until bulk pickup day). Per my wife Rob was pleasant and professional - to quote her, "Very nice." Fee was exactly same as quote, no additions. I bought the unit myself at Brandsmart, but I prefer to arrange installation myself rather than use their contractors. I suppose I could have found someone else a little cheaper, but to me this was worth the price. I would certainly use Rob and Re-Appliance again. Very satisfied.

I called them and scheduled them. They were running late and they called and told me that they were running late. I guy showed up and he didn't want to answer my questions. He wanted me to do what he was suggesting. If I had questions he had no patience to answer. I asked him a few more questions about troubleshooting and going through the process, he was in a rush and he said he didn't have time to go through all this and answer all the questions. He told me would check something in the car and he left. He didn't take any money. I didn't have to pay anything. All the time I spent waiting for it to get fixed was wasted. He looks like a family operated business and they have enough of business. He wasn't into customer satisfaction at all. I was standing there and I felt like I couldn't ask him any questions about my refrigerator on my time. I was thoroughly disappointed. When he came he wanted it to be one problem and he never answered any of my questions regarding fixing it or diagnosis. He might be a good mechanic but he lacked in customer service. If he had to say that he would come back and answer my questions I would have been fine with that. He could have told me that to answer all the questions it would have cost me more, I would have been fine with that.

I realized my fridge was broken when I woke up that morning. I immediately searched for a company on Angie's list and Re-Appliace, who has great reviews, was able to come out that same morning. It was a good thing because I was going out of town the following day for the weekend. The technician was on time, very professional, and efficient. I had a good experience and would use them again.

Robert was professional, knowledgeable and timely. We felt the $50 they charge for the technician to come out and evaluate the problem was fair. We will definitely use Re-Appliance again to fix our large appliances.

I'm very disappointment with their customer service. I called them and scheduled a repair on 3/23 to fix a water unit for my tenant. I explained to them the problem. They confirmed that they can send someone out between 9 and noon the following day. As a result, I make arrangement for my tenant to meet them. They called the following around 11am and told me that the owner is not on vacation. Are you kidding me? Why did you take my credit card number and schedule an appointment if you had no one to do the job. Their response was that the person covering for the owner couldn't do the job. If you are in the business of fixing appliances, how couldn't you not know what you can or can not fix. I wouldn't recommend them.

On time,knowlegeable and straight shooter

I knew purchasing a used appliance is like playing the Lottery. I played and lost. This person from REAPPLIANCE was honest, likeable and fair. I would recommend him to anyone.

Repaired. Spent all of 14 minutes in repair and seemed interested that may be other issues that could have been addressed during visit as would be an "extra". E-mail sent previous evening describing in length issues present. Left with impression simply trying to move on as quickly as possible - reasonable to expect in service industry, but at least let me feel better in non-rushed terms for the money expended. Nice enough individual, timely in response, courteous but in a hurry to get in and out.

When I called to ask for an approximate price to replace the belt in my dryer, I was unprepared - did not have the make and model number and had to call home to ask for it. Robert was very kind and paitent while I called on another line even though I'm sure he was busy. I felt badly for taking up his time becuase I was unprepared. He went to my home promptly the morning after I called and took care of the repair quickly and efficiently. Professional, polite, punctual, efficient, appropriately priced. Strongly recommend on all levels.

The guy is always very reliable. He turns up every time. I have used them for about 8 to 9 years. He does all the electrical appliance you can think of. He turns up within a decent time. He is very prompt.

Reappliance was great. Came on time, diagnosed the problem, came back and fixed it.

Rob answered the phone right away and even adjusted his schedule to fit mine. After giving him the model number of the dishwasher and telling him the problem it think he may went and purchased the part prior to arriving. He fixed it on the spot in about an hour. He cleaned up and warned me to watch for wet spots on the floor incase he missed some. I looked up how much the part was on line and it was about $165, so he charged about $100 for his time as well. Not too bad considering that I didn't really have any other option. It went much smoother than if I had purchased the part and had my husband install it tonight :) 90 day parts and labor guarantee.

Responded quickly, and showed up according to plan. Stayed in touch when looked like he might be delayed. Fixed problem quickly, neatly, and professionally.

I called Rob at 11:00 in the morning and told him what my problem was. He clearly explained his fees and told me he could come by between 1:00 and 4:00 that day. He showed up about 2:30 prepared to fix both problems and did them quick and efficiently. We discussed replacement options and he was straight forward and honest about the condition of my appliances and that since they were both in very good condition, he could repair them for far less than replacement value. He cleaned up after himself and was very polite throughout the entire experience. I definitely recommend RE-Appliance.

They were phenomenal. It was a very difficult job. It was a sub-zero refrigerator, and he immediately knew what the problem was. He has done a couple of jobs for me, and I've recommended him to everybody.
