They had a very good reputation locally. I would use them again. I thought the price was reasonable given the work that they did.

I called this company based on the Angie's list rating and from the phone call to the visit, they deserve an A Plus!! Mark M. called ahead of my scheduled timeframe to advise me that he was on his way. They gave me a window of 3-5pm and Mark was here promptly at 3pm. I was very pleased with that and from then on it went better. Mark confirmed my fears in a very professional and empathetic manner. He gave a detailed written estimate of the treatment cost AND without any kind of high pressure sales pitch, leaving the decision solely up to me. I live in a condo and will need to conduct further research to see if I am held responsible for the termites. I am hoping that maybe my association will reimburse me, if I get Petri to do the work. Bottom line is if I am not reimbursed or held responsible for getting the treatment done, I will call Petri back and ask specifically for Mark M to perform the treatment.

Ian the estimator came for an estimate. He was very knowledgeable about the type of ants we have. The first treatment was done a few days later. The technician was very professional and told us what to expect. Had to call to see when the 2nd treatment was going to be but they did came for a follow up treatment. Everything went well and I'm due to call them with feedback when 3rd treatment is needed. Overall I'm very happy with the whole process. No high pressure sale, no indifference. They know what they are doing. Their price is reasonable and customer service care about their customers.

.Brian came out exactly on time and inspected the insects I had collected. He also went into the yard and inspected the area. He explained the insects I had collected were NOT termites and explained why. He showed me pictures of termites from a book and explained the different insect anatomy. At no time was he pushy in trying to sell pest control but mentioned what was available for our current problem. Really appreciate an honest evaluation and inspection without a hard sell. Will definitely use this company if any future problems come up.

y I had ants inside of the house, and on the outside walls. Based on excellent Angie's List reviews, I got in contact with Petri. Their salesman/inspector Mark came to the house (on time), and after inspecting the property, explained that I had White-footed Ants and Big-head Ants. He explained their different solution programs, and I had their technician come the next day. Vic, my technician, did an excellent job explaining what was being done, and what to expect. He is a very pleasant, knowledgeable person, and for the last year he has shown up on time, EVERY time. I had agreed to the suggested every 2 month exterior treatment, with interior and exterior treatment as needed, and when it was time for the next scheduled treatment, I would get a call the previous day to set up the appointment. They were always very flexible with their appointment times. No more ants!!! I am VERY pleased with the work that this company provides and I do recommend them to my family and friends.

We had an initial contact with their salesman who was a little rude (he asked me several times if my parents were home (I'm 28 y/o) and would not believe me when I told him I owned my house. We went inside and he saw one of my friends and he insisted to him that he was very surprised the house was mine. I had a really bad experience with him but my wife and I still chose Petri because of the great reviews on Angie's list. After this initial contact we only worked with their exterminator Michael and the experience was great.

I scheduled an inspection for April the 1st, but I think it was an April's fool joke, they never came home. I had actually arranged to work from home that day to wait for them. They did not attempt to contact me or advise me they were not going to be able to make it and I did not receive a follow up call to apologize for not being able to perform the inspection. Granted, things happen and I am a reasonable person, but a professional firm will contact a customer to inform of any schedule changes or cancellations.

I have been using Petri Pest since I had termites sworming inside my house in 2010. They did the NO-TENT Termite service on house and I am so happy I went this route. Better than being out of the house for two days, all that prep work, and worry of being robbed while away. They had to come back the first year to retreat it, but since then it has been termite free. They check it once a year to make sure. Since Petri Pest did such a great job of eliminating the termites, I switched to them for all my pest control serives. I have been using them for the entire property for almost a year now, and I am completely satisfied. Either the front office or the field tech. calls the day before service to remind me of service. Since I have dogs, the call ahead service is very helpful. They company is very professional and eager to assist me with any needs or address my concerns. My yard has improved since using this company. Not ants or those annoying beetles in the yard. The grass is much greener and strong this winter. Thanks Kevin! If I notice any ants or other bugs, they will come back out until the bugs are gone. No additional charges, part of their service. It is such a comfort to know that they are only a phone call away. Highly recommed this company!

I had scheduled an appointment to have the house checked out for bugs. However, there was some brown debris at the front door that was of a concern. The man that came to the house to give estimate said, that's termite's, you didn't say you had termites. Well, that's why I had scheduled the appointment, to have an professional examine the situation, I don't know what evidence of termite's looked like. So that wasn't appreciated. Nonetheless, we had our front door treated (for termites). The tech seemed thorough. And I haven't seen any of the debris two months later.

This is not the first time we have used them and been very happy with their work and how they stand behind it.

This is a great company. We have a contract with them to spray our trees and bushes. I called them to say that I thought our whitefly problem was still there and they came within 24 hours to spray again, no charge. Great to work with.

I would used them again. Very professional and got the job done.

This was the initial treatment and will be repeated every four months. Technician was very friendly and professional. The proof will be in the results. I obtained three bids for service prior to choosing them. They were most reasonable. Although have to say all three providers were from Angie's list and equally prompt, professional, etc.

Didn't go well at the beginning as I had to call them to remind them of the appointment. After they showed up, I have no complaints, they took care of what they were required to do.

Their service has been just perfect so far.

We bought a home in June 2013 that had a severe pest/insect problem. We hired Petri's pest control and they sent their technician David to our home. This guy is amazing !! He went through the whole house, even the attic, looking for insects. He treated the whole house and exterior of the home and planters. He pointed out to us many ant nests that we did not know they were there and he eliminated them. He followed up within a week without a service call "as he was in the area and wanted to make sure we were OK" and repeated several hot spots where the ants were pretty bad. On his third visit he found a nest of carpenter ants on the outside of the house that was getting very large, and eliminated this problem. Within three weeks we were completely pest free and have been since. David works very hard at his job and really cares about his customers. I highly recommend Petri's Positive Pest Control !!

I am shopping the market and understand they dont know my exact problem, but refused to give rough estimate over the phone. I have called at this point a handful of other companies and all were able to give me a basic price.

I am writing to report a poor performance grade on a company that is on your list. The Company name is Petri pest-control. (http://www.petrispestcontrol.com/). I was a customer of Petri pest control up until last week. I stopped their service because of repeated poor performance on weed control. I subscribed to a full-service pest and lawn control plan for the last three years. While their performance on insect and pest control has been excellent I have had an ongoing weed problem that they have failed to adequately control. We had called to report this issue after the first year having given ample time for weed control products to work. After they responded, we had to make a second notification because of no improvement, and finally last week I fired them. Each time (twice+ fired) I complained about inadequate weed control I was told the problem is because of my lawn service. They claim that weed seeds are being transferred from other lawns to mine via the lawn mowing equipment. I fell for that line the first time, however the contract states they would repeat treatment as often as necessary until I was satisfied that the weeds were controlled. Well, after three years and three complaints I still have a problem with weeds. Only one time during this period did a supervisor or someone in a leadership capacity come to the house to inspect? There were never follow-up calls or visits to see the problem was under control. Their standard interval of service was every three months which was inadequate to meet their comittment. It seems no one would inspect the efficiency of the weed control product. They would come every three months, apply the product, and leave. Unless I complained they never returned to reapply weed control or to see if their efforts were succeeding. There was no follow-up inspection. We inspected other lawns that are mowed by the same lawn service to see if there was a weed problem in those lawns, in order to validate Petri's statement that the weeds are recurring because of the lawn service. That inspection was negative, the lawns inspected, while not perfectly weed free, were magnitudes better than mine. Even if my lawn service was propagating weed seeds, their committment is to return as often is necessary. This did not occur. I believe I have been very fair, and have given this company ample time to correct the problem. I suggest you investigate this company to see if they should remain on your list. I signed a year contract with Petri's Pest Control to upkeep our lawn. They came bi-monthly and sprayed weed killer and fertilizer on our lawn and fertilzed our shrubs as well. We started in the winter and were told that by summer our grass would look amazing since we are choking out the weeds now and when the summer months come the grass will fill in all the weak spots. The first treatment we saw the weeds die. By the 3rd treatment we didn't see any browning and there was still lots of weeds out there. They came back out that month and resprayed and we did see some results after that treatment. The following treatment we did not see any results either. Summer has come and gone and our grass looks the same as it did 8 months ago. After seeing no results the last 2 treatments I called and cancelled my service feeling like I threw $600 out the window and into the grass..

I purchased the big deal and it was fine. I ended up signing up for quarterly maintenance which is $60 a quarter. I liked them because they were on Angie's List and their previous reviews were positive. They seemed to be professional and courteous. They showed up on time and got the job done.

Service tech sprayed inside (per our request) and outside to rid us of a recent ant problem. No more ants were seen within a couple of days later.
