Mr. Sprinkler

I called last week to schedule a service for today at 9am. At 9:30am no one has showed up nor called. So I call the company and they apparently forgot to put me in the schedule. I had to take off work to be here and this people could not care less. Very unreliable and unprofessional.

I had a sprinkler system that had not been used in 7 years. I bought a pump which they got working. They also found the circuit breaker for the pump which was causing the problem. They tried to hand prime the pump (it draws from the canal) but it would not work. They found the problem was a broken line down at the canal and fixed it. They also pulled the intake and replaced the regulator and cleaned the screen. Water started to flow. Then they fixed all the leaks around the pump and the distributer. After that they went hunting for sprinkler heads. There were a few breaks in the lines which they found and fixed. Almost all the heads were broken / non-functioning and they replaced all those. The timer was shot (completely rusted out) and they installed a new one. They changed coverage areas so everything is covered now. They told me that a few more unlocated heads might pop up when the system turned on in a couple days and two did and are functioning. They programmed the timer and set any questions give them a call. Awesome job!

The technician Mike was knowledgeable, experienced and everything I'd expected from professional in the field. I have had an excellent experience with them and I will be keeping the service.

I had a few down sprinklers and valves, they came the next day and fixed all valves, checked all sprinklers and are now 100% up and running. Great experience, even fixed timer to work again. Highly Recommend.

Del was not overly friendly. Told me they don't come out to find the problem and give free estimates for the job. If they come out they charge by the hour - approx. $70.

Called in order to have some people come out and look at an old leaky sprinkler system and they sent some technicians over to survey the situation within a few hours. They quickly diagnosed what was wrong and told me how much it would cost to fix the old equipment and when I asked how much it was going to cost to replace with all new equipment they had the owner send me an estimate via email. The new system involved digging a whole and putting all the valves in a box in the ground (5 zone system) and adding a new control panel. Once setup the system was programmed and all of the heads adjusted. Work was started the next afternoon and finished the following morning. After the work was completed, the technician walked me through how to operate all of the equipment.

A prompt and on time technician came by and fixed things up for me for far less then I anticipated. He also gave advice about what exactly was causing the repeated damage to the system. Among other things, he suggested that I contact the association about the mowing pattern they are using in my back yard as it was needlessly damaging the system of not only me but also my neighbors. I inquired if this was the case with my neighbors and they confirmed that they too were having excessive wear and tear. I approached the association with his advice and things have improved 10 fold. So not only did he fix my current problem, he helped me avoid future damage to me and my neighbors. Service like this is uncommon

I They were very quick and prompt. After working one the problem for one hour I was called by the technician. He explained to me what he felt the problem was. He could not tell me how much it would cost in total. He stated the charges would be 75 per hour for him and 40 per hour for his assistant plus parts. I find 115 per hour for sprinkler repair a bit steep.

I emailed Mr Sprinkler on Wednesday May 21 to get a quote to install a new sprinkler pump. Del responded the same night and quoted me $600 which is about what all the other sprinkler companies quoted me as well. I called on May 22nd and asked how quickly I could make an appointment for Del to come our house to the do the installation, he was so accommodating.. He managed to fit me into his schedule the next day, May 23rd. (The day before a holiday weekend) When Del and his son came out to my house, they were very fast and efficient at getting my sprinkler pump up and running after it had been stolen over a year prior. I knew there was going to be alot of work to do to get all my sprinklers found and dug up to clean and so forth. They were very nice to help locate a few issues and point them out to me... They took off 10% for being an Angie's List member which brought their total cost down to $540.00. They didn't try to push any other products or services down my throat that I didn't need, which I appreciate. Now the fun starts.... Got half the sprinklers up and running over the long Memorial weekend, hopefully the rest next weekend!!! Any issues I have in the future, I will definitely call Mr Sprinkler again!

I called Mr. Sprinkler Tuesday after reading their reviews. I was under a time crunch to have all work completed by Friday. On Thursday two very knowledgable and professional guys came out on time, worked efficiently, testing the system as they went. We felt the price was fair for the work performed. We were given updates as they worked and were given our options but were not pressured into any extra work. I would highly recommend Mr. Sprinkler and will absolutely call them again should we need any additional work.

Immediately knew what problem was - not sure think it was the clock and mechanical system related to it. Fixed it immediately.

I called Mr Sprinkler to diagnosis issues with my sprinkler system. They picked up immediately and scheduled a visit for the following day despite being short-staffed with the owner being out of the office. They were very friendly, knowledgable, and worked quickly. They gave me a fair price for the work and I couldn't be happier. Thank You!

We were under a time crunch because of a business trip. Mark arrived the day after I called and was extremely professional. He suggested several options to bring the system up to par, and he was able to begin the repairs immediately and came back the next day to finish. All in all excellent service and they will be our sprinkler service from now on.

This company,s service was fantastic. I left a message on Sunday afternoon requesting service and less than 24 hours later the repairs were under way. Would have finished work that afternoon but a part needed for the pump repair had to be obtained. Work finished the following day. They took the time to make sure that we understood everything that they were doing and test walked us through the system when they were done. I will definitely be using them again for anything that goes wrong with my irrigation system and will have them come for a tuneup at least once a year.

My sprinkler system had been out of commission for approx. 6 months and was previously taking water from the local canal which had a low water level, was very murky and overgrown with plant life. After careful review of options for undertaking the work I called Mr Sprinkler late one evening. I selected them because they were local, an owner operator and had good and consistent reviews. Del Rataicak returned my call early the next day and came to estimate the work before 1pm that same day. Scope and price were agreed and the work was scheduled for 2 days later. The work was performed by Del's son Mark who was most professional, punctual and importantly skilled in the work. He rectified some of my DIY work and completed the bulk of the work the same day returning at the agreed time the next day to complete the testing and operation of the whole 3 zone system. I am fully satisfied with the whole experience and would recommend Mr Sprinkler without hesitation.

There has been no contact. Shotty communication and no follow up.

Replaced Timer and check sprinklers....Hardly knew they were there...No mess.

Mark and associate checked everything and fixed problems. Answered all questions and gave useful advise, Recommend and would definitely use again.

After months of dealing with trial and error guessing Mark and his dad Del, figured out low pump pressure problem (leaks and bad check valve) then finally a new breaker (15 amp for pump running at 9.5 amps BUT start up power was 19 amps which kept tripping breaker when trying to restart after lightning etc) all this within hours. Would highly recommend and price was reasonable.

On Friday, August 23rd I contacted Mr Sprinkler to request an estimate for some sprinkler work. No one answered the phone so I left a detailed message on their answering machine asking for a quote. I even repeated my name and phone number slowly two times in the message I left for them. As of 4:30PM on Thursday , August 29th, Mr. Sprinkler never bothered to returned my call. Needless to say I'll not be attempting to do business with them again.

Quality work. I have used Mr. Sprinkler for periodic sprinkler repair needs over the last several years and always found Del to be responsive, reliable, and fair.

The quality of the work was excellent. What was sub par is $70/hr labor rate for the guy who apparently was the 'skill set' guy and then being charged $70/hr for a laborer. My wife is a Doctor and makes less than $140/hr. I would have rated 5 star across the board if it $70 for the trained crew chief/hydrology expert and something like $20-25/hr for the second guy. For five hours work, I was left with a feeling like I bought her a high end surf and turf meal, and all I got was this crummy t-shirt.

Great work and class service from the phone call to the follow up. Than you Mr.Sprinkler!!!!!

Repair was completed in a short time and he had the correct parts to bring system up to working order.

Mark and Del responded immediately by phone and showed up on time the following morning. They repaired everything and took the time to explain to me what the problem was and what they were doing to correct it. I'm extremely impressed with their professionalism. I would highly recommend. Excellent service.
