He was awesome, professional and prompt. I would use him again in the future. He was thorough and took his time and gave us a very detailed report. He went above and beyond. He also spent time with me after over the phone to give me referrals.

After researching and contacting about 8 inspectors/services . We decided to hire the Mold Detective because not only he had great reviews already but also because of the good first talk impression, professionalism, promptness to answer/return our call, friendliness, honesty to talk to us about our issue and to charge a reasonable fees for this work. We needed an inspection ASAP , Charlie took time to come next day (Saturday morning).He spend almost an hour: inspecting our place, damages, took air samples and a swap test. He was VERY informative, listened to all our concerns, was friendly, answered all out questions! A few days later he sent us a very detailed , professional, report including pictures, comments, lab results, remediation solution.Later on, we called him with another questions and he took the time to called us back. We hopefully won't have to go through the nightmare of living and suffering under unhealthy levels of mold again but we will keep Charlie's number! ! We sincerely and highly recommend The Mold Detective to anyone!

Charlie was great. Ontime, thorough, professional, informative and a pleasure to talk to. Charlie does not do remediation so he has no conflict of interest as to whether he finds mold or not. That meant everything to me because I was seriously hoping he would find nothing and indeed that was the result. I recieved the lab results the next day by 5:00. I would recommend Charlie to anyone. We found mold in a room that we were converting to a nursery. The mold remediation company that came out to do an estimate suggested we hire a separate company to do the air quality testing to make sure we didn't have a bigger problem. Charlie came out as scheduled and was very thorough. The problem area was in a weird spot, but he spent a lot of time helping us determine the source of the leak (which ultimately led to roof repairs). Charlie also inspected the A/C and, while he was down there, asked me if I had an extra filter so he could replace it while he was down there. Bonus! We received the reports the next day and Charlie was available to answer our questions by phone.

Charlie is amazing!! His thoroughness set my mind at ease. Aside from the actual testing, he went above and beyond to help. Charlie is unbelievably honest and upfront. Mr. Galvagni was thorough, provided much needed advice and delivered a report the next day as promised. His analysis of the problem was spot on, our AC was not dehumidifying properly because of leaks in our ductwork, and we were able to quickly resolve the issue.

Mr. Galvagni was extremely professional. He arrived on time and proceeded to examine the areas around my air conditioning system that were a source of concern to me. I had some surface areas around my air conditioning vents that appeared black. He tested all of these surface areas as well as the indoor and outdoor air to determine if there was a mold problem. He sent all samples to a lab. He then forwarded me the report prepared by the lab as well as his own report that analyzed the lab results. Both of these reports were very detailed and thorough. He was available to discuss the results of the reports and answer all of my questions. The results indicated that I did not have a mold problem, but he recommended that I clean the HVAC system. Some companies provide both inspection and remediation services for mold issues. Mold Detective, however, only provides inspection services. While I am sure that there are advantages to using one company for both services, I felt more comfortable with a company that provided only inspection services without having a stake in the remediation process.

Tested the air quality for mold and inspected all areas of the house for visible mold. Asked me about areas of concern. Arrived on time, and provided a detailed email report within 48 hours - just like he said he would - much appreciated. I had questions about the report and he responded promptly. It turns out it wasn't as bad as I thought - happy about that. I would recommend Mold Detector to anybody looking for mold testing services.

We HIGHLY recommend Charlie. He is very nice, patient, extremely knowledgable, and we were impressed with his professionalism. We had recently had our roof repaired and noticed water damage on the ceiling. Since I have serious lung problems from mold, we especially appreciated how quickly he attended to our concerns. He sent a 39- page report plus about seven pages of photos. We certainly hope we never have another mold problem, but if we do, we would definitely use him again!!!

That guy was awesome. I was in an emergency situation where we were under the impression that my cabinet died. I found what could have potentially been black mold behind the kitchen wall. He took the call and he walked me through using a visual test. He allayed my fear that it wasn't mold. He was very detailed about everything he did. He seemed to be an expert.
