Description of Work: Thoroughly checked my air conditioner. Made some recommendations but never made me feel pressured into buying anything.

Description of Work: Installed a Rheem Air unit in about August 2013, Had to re-install outside unit because it was in the wrong place. They have sent 18 different service men for various items to be corrected = #19 finally serviced what others missed. I still have a large problem with the a/c filters not fitting. I struggle with ones I buy at Home Depot - why they didn't adjust the a/c filter area ?????? The big joke is they wanted to sell a service contract to me after #19 finally knew how to service a a/c.

Description of Work: Replaced thermostat electric line across attic from thermostat on wall in master bedroom to A/C or Heating unit in garage (~40 ft) ... very difficult due structure construction. |

Description of Work: They came to quote cost of replacing my central air conditioning system. They were the only one of 5 or 6 vendors who, once he saw the work, was unwilling to commit to a price or doing the work. It wasn't a cookie cutter installation because air handler is in the "attic", which in a 1961 northeast Fort Lauderdale single story house is almost a crawl space. This turned me off to them; he didn't even get a second opinion. | |Thanks to Kelly AC, who was able to make a minor repair, the system didn't need to be replaced for another 16 months, and they provided valuable advice. Then Aztil AC, who I'd been using for repair and maintenance generally, provided a very reasonable quote, considering the installation effort in late July, and I continue to be happy with the new Rheem AC from Aztil and glad I didn't go with a cookie cutter type vendor who can't handle a challenge or complexity.

Description of Work: semiannual service, replaced leaking part which was covered under yearly |service contract. we only paid to renew this year's service contract of $169 (two service calls are included in that charge per year). We did not pay anything for the $321 part he replaced on unit. My husband was present to see him take leaking part off a/c unit (we are always a skeptic of service people ripping us off).

Description of Work: I purchased a brand new Carrier a/c compressor and air handler.The company employes mechanics who are sloppy with there work methods. Upon complaint as home owner, I was made to call and talk about quality with the supervisor of the workers, who never made an visit to my home to see. When the mechanics came in response to my complaints , their response was "customer wants installation to be pretty" . After reading that ,I was done with them. The installation of coolant lines should be secure to prevent movement in high winds, insulation tubing around such lines should have been glued with contact cement. . This company used duct tape to hold them shut in places and has since failed since the installation. My old unit had a recovery hot water system which was required to be disconnected as part of the removal of the old system, they left it half removed. The company has quality control problems that even the supervisory management refuses come onto the job site and inspect. The customer is just not important.

Description of Work: Performed annual maintenance on AC. Changed filter. Recommended a different higher quality filter which I purchased and when I rec'd them they returned and installed it. It went well. The technician was polite, professional and knowledgeable. I have been very pleased with all the work they have completed for me.

Description of Work: All I had to do with Lindstrom was to get a quote on a new two ton A/C. The price they quoted me was rediculous. They don't belong on Angies list.

Description of Work: Excellent! From sales to install I was very pleased. No issues what so ever. A five ton unit installed and running fine.

Description of Work: They are simply GREAT at what they do. I have used Lindstrom for both AC and Plumbing. Last visit for plumbing, I thought I was going to have to replace the toilet in our rental... it was running all the time, and I had replaced the inside works myself. Lindstrom found the problem-- one seal-- got everything working, and only charged for a service call.
