You really want my review? Here goes. I’ve had Lyndstrom maintain my ac for several years. I bought and installed this unit in 2015. 6 months ago, during my biannual maintenance they noticed the coil was very dirty. Reasonable, since I have been doing some construction work in my condo for the last year. So I asked them to clean the coil. They said no because the unit is 10 years old. Well everything else is good, but they refused. Because my final construction work is painting, I need my ac unit cleaned so dust and dirt are not blown into fresh paint. I called them a couple days ago to schedule my biannual maintenance. They said no again. I had paid for the 2 maintenance sessions for the year. But I called another ac company, who came and said no high risk in cleaning the coil in place since the unit is still functioning properly. Next day lyndstrom comes to do their biannual maintenance and saw the coil was cleaned AND the drain line was immaculate. Not much to do since to clean the coil, even in place, the other company’s tech made sure the unit was functioning properly. So Lyndstrom does good work but they refuse to clean a coil if the unit is over 6 years old. So my advice is make sure the company you choose to maintain your ac doesn’t have this policy of not cleaning coils if unit is over 6 years old. Lyndstrom wants to make your unit work harder through a dirty coil so you are forced to buy a new ac. Sorry Lyndstrom, but you lost a long time customer. Pictures of dirty coil 6 months ago Lyndstrom refused to clean as part of maintenance and picture of coil cleaned by another company yesterday.

I purchased a Trane AC from Lindstrom Air Conditioning & Plumbing in 2018, and from the very first day, it’s been a constant source of problems. The initial installation was poorly executed. The base they designed didn’t even fit the unit properly, and as a result, the air filter media couldn’t be installed correctly. It took three separate service calls before they finally resorted to an improvised fix. Despite investing in their annual maintenance plan and having my unit serviced twice a year, I’ve encountered issues every single year. The most recent experience was the tipping point. The first technician who came out blamed a strange noise on a vibrating pipe, and when I asked him to investigate further, he actually said it was “above his pay grade” and did no diagnostics. Unsatisfied, I called the company back and they sent a second technician who did address the issue, but only after he’d completed the work did he inform me there was a $225 charge. When I questioned why this wasn’t disclosed upfront, they told me I could either pay it or use up my second annual maintenance visit to cover the cost. The maintenance done in August was clearly subpar—apparently the drain wasn’t cleaned properly—and now I’m stuck footing the bill for it. Lindstrom was recently bought out by another company, and it seems like they’re dismissing my concerns and any notion of taking responsibility for the unit or the quality of their work. I cannot recommend Lindstrom Air Conditioning & Plumbing. My experience has been nothing but frustration and unexpected expenses from a system that should have performed reliably and been installed correctly in the first place. Steer clear and find a more reputable company for your HVAC needs.

Your company is a joke, fake advertising, I was charged $670 for a leak test and freon, with the promise that my house would cool down, and never did. I called within two hours of service, no answer, I texted, I emailed, then I called again and the women said, "we aren't coming back out, we don't do 24/7 anymore, so you are fake advertising on your website, and you don't back up the work that you claim that performed

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Unprofessional and sloppy work, dangerously careless and they do not correct or admit to their errors. They are deceptive and extremely overpriced.

On 8/4/2022 we purchased and had installed a brand new AC unit for $7,000. We are snow birds who only visit Pompano once or twice a year. Every time we come the unit leaks inside the condominium. We have called and called, and had technicians come over at least 4 or 5 times since then to have this fixed. Not one has been able to do this. On the third time the technician said the slope was not correct so water was not draining and instead pooling, he "corrected" the slope and it worked for maybe two days. By the time it started leaking again we had to leave Florida. Every time we pay a fee and nothing gets fixed. I find it unacceptable that after spending all that money for a unit that is less than 2 years old, i still don't have a functioning unit.

Broke the Nest thermostat and not reliable

Cannot believe that they charge $99 “dispatch fee” to send someone to give me a quote for a new water heater !!! Makes me wonder how much more they charge to actually install a replacement new water heater definitely will not use them No other company charges customers to give a quote

My wife and I called them out, because of a plumbing/toilet issue. They service person Arny was very polite and professional but that was the EXTENT TO GOOD SERVICE FROM THIS PLACE. He told us that we needed a new toilet and gave us a price. the toilet alone was over 3xs more than the same toilet we bought from Home-Depot. That's just OUTRAGEOUS of a mark up. Then when they came back to install the toilet, they broke 7-tiles on the floor and couldn't do anything. They wanted to charge use a service charge for their fault. The REAL KICKER WAS THE MANAGER MR. FRANK PALMERO didn't even have the GUTS to even get on the phone with us to come to a RESOLUTION. He had the POOR TECHNICIAN go in and out of the house to tell him what to say. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I will never recommend this company to anyone. They really need to change their LOGO TO I HATE THESE GUYS. At the same time my neighbor had a/c problems and they wanted 1,600.00 more than Air around the clock for same UNIT. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST..

The job was scheduled professionally and punctually. The plumber was friendly, pr, competent and worked efficiently. Great job.

Mr C Bowes was professional and did a great job. He listened to my concerns. I was alerted as to when he would arrive.

Very Disappointed in Linstrom. We have a 4 year old new unit that stopped working on a Friday morning in July. We called immediately to make an appointment for someone to come out. They did not have an available appointment for 5 days until the following Tuesday. We understand that they are busy but 5 days to visit a home to assess the issue and diagnose is not favorable in 99+ heat in South Florida. We called daily hoping for an opening sooner and were able to get a Monday appointment. The technician came out and the unit needed a part to move forward to get our air conditioning working. It took another 2 days before they could confirm they found the part and then we were told it can be another 3-5 business days for it to arrive. Our AC was fixed after 12 days of AC in heat advisory weather. My disappointment in Linstrom mostly is from the customer service. Amanada "the manager" showed no compassion, she was defensive and not accommodating. We received a call from her telling us the part will be here in two days...We asked to make an appointment for the 3rd day and she said No it's the POLICY of the company to have the part in before they make an appointment. We continued to ask for the appointment in case the part comes and we have to wait another 4-5 days for an appointment and she was VERY RUDE and told us that we have a problem not her because we do not like their policy. We are the consumer that has been without Air Conditioning for over 10 days. There is NO leadership in the manager department with Linstrom. I asked at least 9 times over the week to have a manager call me and NEVER received a call until AManada called to be rude about the "The Policy" I left a message with a manager named"Buddy" never called me back. I do have to say the technicians that came to our house were GREAT. I did speak to a woman on the phone several times named Violet and she was very professional and helped as much as possible. We felt TRAPPED having a warranty with Linstrom and having to wait 12 days in the middle of JUly for service. We would have paid out of pocket to another AC repair but doing that would lose out on our 6 year warranty. I do NOT recommend getting an AC UNIT with this company for this exact reason. My family bought into Lindstrom 4 years ago because of the feeling that they would "take care" of our family in times like this. Never once did we feel like they were trying their best. AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL....DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! AManda needs training to be in a manager's position.

Great job and fixed the issue quickly

Total rip off!! I never leave bad reviews but I feel like I’ve been completely ripped off and want to warn others. I spent over $1700 for about two hours of work. They initially told me it would be an extensive project that would require cutting my cabinets and then the tech told me good news, he didn’t have to cut the cabinet and he was finished in about two hours. I thought that would mean a reduction in my estimate but nope! I asked if parts were expensive and he said no (I think I needed one or two valves and a little bit of line). I tried to speak with a manager after the job was done but of course I didn’t get a call back. My tech was good and got the job done but I do not feel the pricing was remotely fair for the size of the job.

You dont call a 92 year old woman, 2 days after service and yell at her that if she does not pay the bill by COB today, they will never service her again and then hang up. My mother is 92. When service was complete, she wanted an invoice in order to pay. Lindstrom is paperless. They want payment immediately. Lindstrom emailed the invoice to me, her son. I called and asked if they could send her an invoice via mail, as she is 92 and does not have any internet/computer. They will not do that and stated, they are paperless. They need payment immediately. I offered my credit card and paid the bill over the phone. However, I am ticked off at Lindstroms lack of customer service skills. How do you call a customer, yell at them and then hang up. Shame on you Lindstrom. Even worse, I was told it was the manager who called and yelled at her. Shame on you.

I made an appointment for an emergency plumbing service on their website and their online system accepted the appointment. Today, I called to confirm the appointment only to be told they do not service Miami Dade County. When I tried to explain that the appointment had been confirmed in the system for 3pm on Tuesday, two different individuals in a very condescending way told me that they do not go to Miami Dade. It came across in both instances as if Miami Dade was beneath them…I asked then to speak to a manager only to be told none were available and that someone would call me back...no one ever called me back. They pride themselves in being in business for 45 1/2 years servicing 'Southeast Florida' but they seem to have forgotten that Miami Dade is within Southeast Florida. Their site alleges "of our two convenient locations in Pompano Beach and Port St. Lucie, we've been able to expand our coverage area. If you need service and don't see your community listed, contact us. We may have already expanded into your area. If not, we can refer you to one of our local partners that can help. We have been serving Southeast Florida with quality you can count on…… one customer at a time. Well you have lost one customer and will most likely lose many more if you do not teach your employees phone etiquette and the importance of customer service. I see now why you get a 2 in your reviews

Lindstrom plumbing never disappoints. Reliable, courteous, considerate of your costs, quick to determine the problem, and they get the job done right the first time.

The technician arrived on time, was pleasant, informative, and considerate. He quickly evaluated two separate toilets, made recommendations, actively worked to reduce the cost, and completed the work in less than 40 minutes. One of those rare positive experiences with a home repair and very much in line with all my Lindstrom repairs and installations.

Came at beginning of time range - great. Wore 'booties' - great. Very friendly and professional - great. I use Lindstrom for all my A/C and plumbing needs. Very satisfied.

Really bad. He was hired for 3 jobs and he only did one. You can tell from the moment he walked in that he was in a hurry. in this first job ,he told me that he was only going to (replace faucet), not touching the Compression Outlet Multi-Turn Angle Valve it was too hard. In that case I would have done it myself. Also he did not ask if he can take the old faucet. He took a look at it and put it in the bag. Now on the second job, right away he told to "buy a new toilet." There is nothing wrong with my toilet, he only had to change the seat bolts." UNBELIEVABLE". On the third job, that there is nothing wrong with it. Just to tighten the screw . Well, as you can tell I'm very dissatisfied, with the performances, fees, lack of professionalism and empathy," I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN" Sincerely, Marisel Marte

Home Damage 8/1/22 While cleaning the outside coil, the technician noticed water and dirt going under the door of my home office. I found standing water covering a significant portion of my laminate floor. After vacuuming water, pulling up rugs, and removing furniture it was clear that water had seeped between the boards and damaged the floor. At this time 8/11/22, multiple attempts have been made to resolve the issue with Lindstrom and no offer for restitution in whole or in part has been made.

Previously, I have always been happy with Lindstrom Plumbing with exception to my last visit. Unfortunately, my tech left approximately 20 pounds of water logged pipe insulation in my attic. The reason why I contacted Lindstrom was due to their previous workmanship and work ethic. The quality of the work was very good but I can't give five stars when you leave all your trash up in my attic, especially when I called due to having a leak in my ceiling from water logged pipe insulation. Why would you leave the problem in the attic, it was not forgotten about, it was intentionally left behind. In hindsight I wish that I had taken photos of the event but unfortunately I was so upset I just put them into the trash bin.

Technicians were knowledgeable. Service provided was excellent. Will certainly use them again

Beware. Lindstrom lures you with a reasonable charge, then doubles the repair cost. I needed a new blower mower. Linstrom charges a very reasonable $79 s/c which is applied to the repair if needed. My system is under warranty and covers parts 100%. After confirming the motor was needed, they quoted $720. I figured that must be a mistake and that they accidentally quoted for both parts and labor. Had a motor replaced 2 years ago for less than $350 labor - not by Lindstrom. Asked the lindstrom tech to confirm the $720 charge and he told me “the motor is $2300, but your charge is only $720”. I told him, “I only pay for labor under warranty so why are you giving me the cost of the part?” Not to mention he was also trying to push an additional $430 for a maintenance contract. It was confusing, so I called the office. First, the office said the $720 was parts AND labor, but when I told her it was under parts warranty, she put me on hold and came back to say that the quote is just for labor. I told her I paid less than half that a couple of years ago and all she said is that prices have gone up. Really? 100%+ increase in 2 years? I paid the $79 s/c and told them I’d let them know. Called another company I’ve worked with in the past who has a stellar rating on Angi (starts with a G and ends with stream). I was charged $390 for labor…period. It was a 25 minute job. Also, they told me the cost of the part would have been $900 if not under warranty - not the $2300 Lindstrom said the part cost. So they not only overcharge but they blatantly lie to make it seem like your saving money! Will never use Lindstrom again…ever.

I called them because my AC capacitor was not working. I knew that when I called. I was told it would be $79 dollar service call unless it was covered by warranty then the service charge would be waived. My system is only 3 years old, installed by Lindstrom. What a joke the warranty is, I was charged $344 dollars to replace a $10 to $30 dollar part. Under warranty the part should be close to free or pro rated NOT 11 times the cost! The tech told me that was the cost of the capacitor and showed me the listing. The receptionist told me it was for labor for the 10 min it took him to do. All they did today is make sure one of their customers will never call them or refer the company to anyone else. I hope it was worth it. If you think they are sincere and want to help when they reply to a negative post, don't be fooled. The (please call us so we can go over your concerns) is just show. I have called several times and I was told every time that the manager is not there. He has yet to return my call. The receptionist said all he is going to tell you is, that is the price. This is a predatory business model that in no way benefits the customer. It is designed to line their pockets. I now laugh at the positive reviews that say you get what you pay for. I paid the price of a complete widow unit and only got a cheap capacitor.
