Description of Work: Lindstrom was the first company I called and Andre came to the house the next day. Right off the bat he encouraged me to wait inside and not go with him to inspect the unit .I must point out here that it was a lot hotter inside than outside. Andre quoted the repair price at 1500 and said it was an off brand more expensive motor , and parts would have to be ordered which could take days. He strongly encouraged me to buy a new unit and I would have cool air that day or the next. He scheduled a salesman to come that afternoon and also promised to call back in a few hours to let me know how long it would take to receive necessary parts if I chose to repair. I had told Andre that my dog was elderly and sick so I needed cool air restored quickly. Andre never called. I feel this was an attempt to sway me to buy rather than repair.The problem was Lindstromt doesn't sell the unit I needed. When I finally called them at 5pm I was told they had the motor in stock after all. The next morning a competitor came out at 8am, showed me and explained the entire process. He left and came back with the new motor in 2 hours . It was installed for 750 with the breaker, a parts warranty and labor guaranteed. Lindstrom was twice that and not nearly as transparent. I do not recommend Lindstrom.
