I woke up to a wet floor near the interior central A/C unit. I called Kelly's and spoke with Bruce Kelly who could not have been nicer or more helpful. He walked me through some steps I could take on my own to fix a problem with a clogged line. Imagine that! A business that is willing to help without any guarantee that there is money in it for them. Although I thought I solved the problem, I had to call Kelly's to come out for a service call. He came the very next day and took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. (He was polite, personable, and had a great sense of humor, too.)

Replacement parts were quickly located and installed. Repairs completed in less than 24 hours

We called Bruce for a second opinion after another A/C company came to look at our A/C and we're so happy and relieved that we did. The other company wanted to push us to replace the AC entirely which we found highly suspicious. Bruce responded right away, came on time, and provided a much more reasonable estimate than the first company. He did the work fast and the AC works perfectly again. Bruce Kelly promptly scheduled an appointment and immediately told me it was a leak in my coil in the evaporator. He gave me several options, filled my air conditioner with freon. Since the unit is 11 yrs old and has no warranty left, he explained a new unit would be the best choice, unless I want to get the coil replaced or he would call Rheem and ask about an sealant that could seal the unit. He promptly called me back with an answer and told me to get back with him. A few days later, he checked on me and asked if the unit was cooling, he came over to recheck it. Bruce went over and above what I expected. I highly recommend this company.

Bruce was prompt, polite and professional. I contacted him to get a quote for a new a/c system at our home because we had been told by someone else (more on that later) that the evaporator coil was failing. Bruce came out to the house, looked at the unit said that the coil was just showing typical wear and tear for its age and that the unit was fine. I should get several more years out of it. He still gave a free quote for a new system, which was $1500 less than I had been quoted by the company that installed and currently services our a/c. When our system finally does go, I will be contacting Kelly AC & Appliance Service, Inc. But for the fact I am currently under a service contract with the company that installed and currently services my unit -- ECM -- I would probably make the switch now. Our Carrier system is only 9 years old and is supposed to last at least 10 years. When we recently had a tuneup on our system, the ECM tech took several pictures of how bad the coil looked and claimed it was failing. That's the key word there -- "looked bad." Anyhow, because Carrier only gave a 5 year warranty on the coil (which is 10 years these days), the cost of replacing just the coil was so high that it arguably makes sense just to get a new unit. ECM quoted be a little over $5000. I really respect that Kelly AC & Appliance Service, Inc. didn't try to pull one over me and just give a quote for a new system based on what I had been told previously. It turns out that the coil is working just fine--no leaks--and that it was just showing signs of its age (see pic below)

He came in, and spent about an hour and a half here. He totally fixed the air conditioning. There was no air coming into the house. I'm in South FL, and it gets really hot here. He said he'd send me a bill, but he never did. Just a phenomenal guy. I called him back and he said not to worry about it. He's such a wonderful person! I'm gonna call him soon, because I want to have the A/C Serviced. It was so wonderful, because I had another company come out, charge me over a $5000 dollars and still not complete the work. Kelly found out that the Freon was put in wrong and that's why we weren't getting the cool air.

I called this company to evaluate a leaking refrigerator after it had recently been repaired for the same problem by another "A" rated Angie's List company. After contacting the first company and not getting a return call, I was fortunate to speak with Bruce Kelly who promptly responded, identified the problem, provided an estimate for repairs, and repaired the refrigerator. I will definitely use this company again and, based on my experience, would recommend Kelly's A/C & Appliance Repair to others.

The first time I contacted Mr. Kelly, my AC unit was leaking. Instead of coming over and charging me for it, he diagnosed the problem with me on the phone and walked me through step-by-step how to fix it. Fast forward a few months later, the compressor went out. Bruce came out, looked it over, and his team was able to replace it within a few days. Very professional and honest; one of the installers followed up a few days later to make sure everything was working properly. Would highly recommend.

We always call Mr. Kelly whenever we have any problem with our ACs (2 units). He is honest and responsible, a true professional.

Bruce found that the AC unit still was under warranty and arranged for the parts. Saved me about $800. He kept me updated about arrival times on both visits and both occasions were very professional. Highly recommended.

He showed up as expected and spent about 30-45 minutes troubleshooting. He determined (accurately as later confirmed by an electrician) that there was an electrical problem with the outside switch. He advised me to call an electrician and report that the air handler was not getting full power. He only charged $45 which I thought was very reasonable (I previously used Bruce Kelly to install a split air system in my bedroom and my neighbor used him to do the same).

I called Bruce at 8:00 at night asking him to please put me on his queue for the next day. Bruce put my AC in a couple of years ago and did a terrific job for us. His prices were the most reasonable and his work was so professional. Bruce called me back within 10 minutes and literally walked my husband thru the troubleshooting of the AC. I can't thank him enough. He was so wonderful to help us out late at night. Where else can you find someone who will do that? I can't recommend him enough. Thank you Bruce. God Bless you.

Our A/C unit completely died, air handler and outside unit. Called Kelly's and Bruce came out the same day. As it was July in South Florida, I'm sure you can understand how disgustingly hot it was in the house. Bruce was very knowledgeable and great to work with. He had our complete system replaced quickly and with no hassle! Would highly recommend you stop looking for other A/C companies and pick Bruce Kelly!

I chose Kelly air mainly because of the high ratings on Angie's list and because the owner, Bruce, quoted the job and was there to over see some of the installation. The install went smoothly. The new unit is noticeably quieter and air temps and humidity are more stable. Bruce called the day after the install (Saturday) to make sure the unit was working. That is excellent service and we appreciated it. Bruce also came by a second time, at no charge, to add a time delay to the outside unit to prevent short cycling. Overall good experience and I believe we made a good choice.

Bruce Retuned today to add a 5 KW heater to my new Air Return. Bruce installed my new Air Return on August 26th. The company had given him the wrong heater. Bruce exchanged and returned today to install the correct heater and check all the componets of my air conditioning system. Excellent work. I highly recommend Bruce, great job. Very professional.
