It was a total waste. Didn't do a thing. Didn't bring a ladder. They said everything was fine. There was a leak, a loose bolt and the electrical power was set for a low voltage instead a high voltage. I had to replace 2 compressors in 2 days. Another company, a day later, serviced my a/c for these problem.

Our airconditioner stopped blowing cold air. My wife called one of the big outfits for service, and they said they would have someone out the next day about 7pm which was after hours and the service call would be would be $125 instead of $85 because it would be after hours. We agreed and suffered through the night. Next morning, we remembered we are angies list members. I got on the pc and started to search angies list for a/c servicers. Kelly's a/c service was the one I liked best ( all A's and great reviews). Boy did I hit a winner. The service call was $55. Made the call and Bruce Kelly answered himself. He paused a moment and said " l'll be there about 2pm". We canceled our previous appt. We got a call at 130pm , it was Bruce and he was on his way. He showed up at 2pm with a helper, we explained the situation and they went to work. Solved our problem, a/c was working great. It's an old unit so we asked for an estimate and he advised he would email me in a few days. I found angies list very valuable in getting a pro who came on time, friendly and professional, fixed the problem and explained all that was done so l could understand and did not price gouge. Our a/c condensation pump leaked. We were able to get it to stop leaking and working properly, but figured we should get it checked since we haven't done it in a few years. After several phone calls to various places, Bruce was 1) available next day & 2) had reasonable rates. He arrived when he said he would and everything went fine. Hoping to not have to call him again any time soon, but if the need arises, we'll be calling him first.

My experience with this company was one of the best in my 28 years in Florida. They responded promptly, explained what I needed and installed in half a day. I even got a follow-up phone call yesterday to make sure I was happy and everything was working properly. I highly recommend them. This followed an experience of having another company service my old air-conditioner and within 2 weeks it was not working properly!

Bruce added freon to one of our central air conditioner that had stop blowing cool air, it worked for one day and it shut down again. He came back the next day without extra service charge and found the source of the leak, repaired it and added more freon. The unit seems to be working fine. He's very profesional

Love Bruce Kelly! We have a two-story home with the A/C unit on the roof. We found a leak in the house and were told by our maintenance guys the A/C unit was clogged and overflowing. Mr. Kelly came out promptly and check the entire unit out. We've never had this type of service from an A/C person before.

Mr. Kelly arrived exactly on time. Very courteous, new exactly how to fix the a/c. Called him in the morning at 8:30 am and i had my a/c fixed before noon. A pleasure to do business with, would recommend and use in the future.

.We had cleaned the filter and condensate lines but the unit was still clogged and once the cycle ended, water would drip from underneath the unit. Mr. Kelly inspected the coils and removed a clog in the line. He then treated it with bleach. He instructed me to watch it for a couple days and if it's still a problem he could come back and remove the pan and thoroughly clean what can't be seen without removing it, a much bigger job.

I was having a lot of moisture around the handler and called Bruce with my concerns. He had suggested that the coils are likely dirty and contributing to the moisture issue. We he arrived he determined that in fact the coils are dirty and needed to be cleaned as well as found a roof leak that was much of our water culprit. In performing his maintenance on the rest of the unit he suggested that I replace the capacitor and contact as they were worn and likely to give me a problem. For the low cost to replace instead of waiting until they broke and paying for a service call I went with his recommendation. He was punctual, professional and I would absolutely call Kelly's again...

It took him 2 days to fix it. The price was okay.

Very good, a few minutes late but overall happy with service. Would use them again.

I first called Kelly's on the 9th, after my AC stopped blowing cold. Describing the problem over the phone, he first suggested I de-ice the condenser (no visit needed). I followed his instructions, and it did help, but it was apparent that there was still something wrong. Set up an appointment for today (the 10th). He was here on time, looked everything over, made some adjustments, and was very professional. We are sitting cool again. Very happy with this service, and I will use Kelly's again.

After my call, Bruce came within 30 min. and quickly figured out what was wrong with our A/C units. He was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing. I would definitely recommend him.

After checking Angie's List, I called Kelly's A/C Service because of the ratings and location. Our central a/c quit cooling about 3am, so by 6am it was evident something was not working. At 7:50 am, I called Kelly's and spoke to Bruce, he scheduled me for today, but at 9:30 am he called informing me he had a cancellation, so I left work and met him at the house. When I arrived, he was already working on the unit, and had found the problem. And the problem was a part, and he had already called the manufacturer and got it replaced under warranty. Bruce was great. He was polite, professional, worked very quickly, and was very knowledgeable in the area of central air conditioning units. He was patient and answered all my questions. He did not make or leave a mess. I will certainly call him if I ever have an issue with anything related to my air conditioning unit. Bruce exceeded my expectations, and that is not an easy thing to do!! If you have problems with your air conditioning unit, this is the guy you need.

Excellent communication, good assessments and analysis with options. I chose the mini split system and glad I did so. Kelly AC is outstanding and should be someone you call for an estimate/assessment as you consider necessary work in HVAC.

The AC in my condo is only three years old. Every now and then when it shuts off the fan runs for a while and the next cycle the compressor comes on after 30 minutes of only the fan running. Bruce checked everything and explained that it's a relay switch. He showed me where the AC "message" is located. He suggested that the next time this happens to call him with the "message" showing and he can contact the manufacturer. It's now July 1st and I haven't noticed it yet. I will be sure to call him when it happens again. His professionalism was appreciated.

Great. A/C went out late Friday. Bruce came out on Saturday morning, tried to get unit start because it's June in South Florida, but being an old unit, we needed to replace the whole thing. By Tuesday afternoon, we were nice and cool again. Kelly's was responsive, efficient and i would definitely recommend them. BTW - had placed a call to one other service, still waiting to see if they ever call me back!

This is one of the few companies I would give more than an A to if possible. I called Mr. Kelly to come out as my A/C was making terrible noises. This had been going on for a few months, getting worse, and I basically got the run around by another company I called, who told me I had to live with this noise because that's how Carrier units are. Mr. Kelly took the model number of my unit over the phone in the morning, came out to my house on time that afernoon, part in hand, and within an hour had fixed my unit. He knew exactly what was wrong just from my description over the phone. Of course it shouldn't have been making that noise, as the other guy had said. Mr. Kelly answered the phone both times I called, was on time and knew what he was doing. He is very professional. It shouldn't be rare to find someone like this, but it seems to be sometimes. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him.

Bruce came over and quickly figured out what was wrong with one of our A/C units. He figured out that the capacitor needed to be replaced and took care of it very quickly with the parts he had in his truck. He was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing. This was my first time using Kelly AC & Appliance Service. I was getting ready to head out of the country on vacation (for 10 days) and discovered (on a Saturday morning) that my home A/C was not working. I found Bruce on Angie's list and called him and explained my situation. After describing the problem and giving Bruce my A/C model and serial numbers, he immediately ordered the replacement fan motor and had everything back up and running in a matter of hours. I cannot say enough positive things about Kelly AC & Appliance Service. I will most definitely be calling Bruce for all of my future A/C needs. This is my first experience using Angie's List and Bruce has definitely earned his "A" ratings and all the positive feedback.

Great experience. My regular appliance repair guy was not available, so I called Kelly's based on reviews on Angie's List. I called and spoke to Bruce about 1:00 pm. Although he was clearly very busy, Bruce agreed to come by my house when he finished his other job. He got to my house around 6:30 - 7:00 and immediately diagnosed the problem. He replaced the motor and contactor and cleaned the coils. My air was back on by 8:00. Bruce was friendly and informative. He seemed to appreciate that another night without AC would be misery, and got the job done right away. I would definitely hire him again.

Our downstairs AC unit compressor had a humming/hissing sound early evening on Saturday. I called Bruce at 9:45 PM and left him a message that I needed help. I did not think he would call back until Monday. He called on Sunday at 8:30 AM to see what's going on. We went through some questions, and he offered the initial charge as a minimum for coming out here on a Sunday. He called 45 minutes later to confirm that he would be here in 30 minutes---on the dot. He explained thoroughly what was going on--and was very helpful to advice when to replace the units versus cleaning coils, etc. I was travelling on Monday, and did not want to leave my family with one less AC unit in the middle of the summer. He not only fixed our AC, he made sure that our weekend time was not taken away. I will use him again, and again. Great responsiveness, and good pricing. Keep in mind that Sunday Service is much more than weekdays.

Initial intallation was performed without incident in a timely manner. After installation it was determined that some piece of the equipment was faulty, promptly replaced. Bruce Kelly is friendly and was chosen from others who submitted bids because of no bull presentation. All work was done to code and promptly approved. I have not a single complaint, thanks Bruce!

Went perfectly. This is the third year I have used Bruce Kelly and have no intentions of ever NOT using him. He is fast, honest, and his prices cannot be beat. He is over the top on his game and if you are looking for a new AC repairman, this is your contact!

Excellent. Very thorough, and provided a very competitive estimate. I chose another company for other reasons, but strongly recommend him and will use him if I've the need in the future.
