Your search is over, call Brian Kelly! I was having a leak issue in my ceiling forcing me to cut open a hole to find out that one of the ac pipes was leaking. My unit was over 10 years so I figure it might be time to replace it so I called some companies and had three come out to review the issue first. The first two couldn?t really tell me why it was leaking and offered to fix it or replace the whole unit with not much reason why besides its old. Brian which just hearing him speak about the issue at hand you just know he is very aware of what he is talking about when it comes to AC units. He gave me two quotes one for a repair that he advised will only be a temp solution and a second for a new unit. Both of Brian?s quotes were cheaper than the other two companies and I felt much more confident with him than the other two. I decided to replace the whole ac unit but had a special request for Brian to complete it in two days because the closet where the ac hander is located had a lot of water damage (from past issues) and I wanted a full day to sand, prime, and paint the area. Brian agreed and came early the first day to remove the unit and came back the next day early to complete the installation. I gave it about 3 weeks to confirm there was no leak from my ceiling anymore and there wasn?t. My new AC is working fantastic and I immediately saw my power savings using FPL daily online power usage database for my home after the new ac was installed.

Bruce was very nice and professional. Bruce had to come back multiple times because the Parts company I purchased the parts from twice mis shipped the part. Bruce was nice enough to not charge me for coming extra times. Not only that, the multiple time Bruce came he did the work and did not charge a penny. He gave me the bill once the dishwasher was fully working. Great Job!!!

Bruce fixed my icemaker in a few minutes because the previous service company 'didn't know how to install it'. Bruce was prompt and professional and clearly knew what he was doing unlike the other company I had used.

Mr. Kelly worked with me to schedule the job at my convenience. He estimated the job length at approximately 3-5 days. His crew showed up promptly each day; worked continually; cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day; and finished the job within the time estimate. In addition -- prior to starting this work -- I had a small problem with my a/c unit and Mr. Kelly responded to my "emergency call" within several hours and solved the problem (needed Freon). This contractor is responsive and professional and I highly recommend him.

They gave good advice but they were really expensive. He told me to shut the AC off, turn it back on, change the filter, and put it in another area. It was $167 for 5 minutes!

Bruce Kelly arrived at the time he had said he would, and with in minutes found the problem was with a circuit breaker from an old air conditioner. He made a temporary repair repair by removing the damaged part of the wires. He then gave us a referral to an electrician who called us the same evening to set up an appointment. We were very pleased by Kelly and the electrician.

It went superbly! Kelly lived up to the glowing reports we saw from other Angie's list members! "Do's" -- hire him! "Don'ts"-- there aren't any...so far...just had the work done yesterday!

Our experience with this provider was flawless. Mr. Kelly first of all does the work himself. He advised us that we really did not need to replace the unit as it was not that bad and had been maintained. However, due to its age, it would eventually fail and we decided to replace it now rather than later. Bruce was on time for his quote and inspection as well as his installation. His price was fair as we did get other estimates. Another provider gave us a quote which was only two hundred dollars less and did not include a new thermostat and one other was exactly the same price, but did not have as many positive experiences on Angies List. The work was performed and the unit is running. What more can you ask for? Notes on our previous provider and what you should ask if going with someone new: We had previously used an a/c company which is on the list with good reviews, for over 15 years as they were always responsive and fair, but they recently went to pricing their service by the job, which is my opinion is not fair. I was charged 390.00.00 to replace a capacitor and contactor. The job (which I have had done on many units before as I owned a commercial bldg.) took less than an hour and the parts were inexpensive. The owner did discount it $150.00 when I complained, but that just reinforces the fact that I was overcharged. Their rational is that if their technician takes too long to do a job, the client is protected with a set price, but my reply is if their technician takes too long to do a simple job, they should not be working for you. Mr. Kelly has a great deal of experience and worked efficiently. He has assured me he does not charge by the hour. I will use Kelly A/C for all my maintenance and repair work.

Do not overlook the "Appliance" word in this company's name. I called Bruce and told him I had to turn off my refrigerator due to a strong odor from the bottom that smelled like something had burnt out. He was at my house within 90 minutes and saved my refrigerator/freezer that was full of food!! Thank you Bruce!! He replaced a relay, and we realized the water line was leaking so he replaced that too. He made a few visits, because he went and got the right parts for my refrigerator and I had him quote on a A/C duct replacement project because he is so great to work with. I saved him to my favorites, so I will call him first if I have an appliance or A/C issue of any kind. Look no further, you have found the right company.

I was shopping around between three companies. Bruce was a straight shooter. he explained all the differences in brands, seers, handler compatibility etc before we even committed to choosing Kelly's ac for the job. He also researched different manufacturer rebates on various brands for us. His price was not the lowest, but I flt his knowledge and experience was worth it. Bruce will be our first call next time we need any ac repair or replacement.

Everything was done very expertly. The City inspector also said he was impressed with the work. Bruce was a pleasure to work with as he is very responsive and attentive to details. He also gave me his advice for another problem with my refrigerator which was invaluable. I would highly recommend him to anyone with similar issues. Bruse is always responsive to my request.

Replaced existing 14yr old system with a new two stage unit and variable speed air handler. The work was performed as agreed upon and completed in a timely manner. Price included permit, breaker replacement, and disconnect box replacement.

This was a pretty big job on an old house with badly damaged air ducts. The workers were on time, friendly and professional, and the job was completed about as scheduled and with no cost overruns. Full clean up with no mess left behind. Air is now running great and I expect electric bills will be going down, as I am no longer air conditioning my attic. I have used Kelly AC before, and will use again when I need good reliable air conditioner service.

They did an excellent job. They came quickly and fixed it and took the time to show how not for that to happen again.

Bruce was competent , very professional, effective and efficient in the installation of my AC. According to my market Research and Price comparison analysis the cost was very reasonable.

Bruce is very honest and competent. He will tell you exactly the repairs you need, and no more. His price quotes are very reasonable. He answers the calls promptly. He showed up exactly at the designated time (8:30 am). When you call someone who is an expert in an area in which you are not, trust is the only currency. I feel that Kelly A/C has earned my trust.

Got Bruce's name from Angie's List back in July for emergency fix. He told me it would last a few more months as the system was old (13yrs) and inefficient ( which l had been told by other a/c companies). He gave me an estimate as did other companies. Oct. came and it finally died again. Called Kelly's and advised him we decided to get new system from him. He came on time as promised with helper. Installed new system (Rheem) with no problems in about 4 hrs. Our condo president was so impressed with his professional and clean workmanship that we as a condo bldg. are using him as our go to company for all our a/c needs.

I am very satisfied and highly recommend Kelly AC & Appliances. I contacted Bruce early afternoon today because my AC stopped cooling. He was professional and agreed to come out later in the afternoon. He called later to let me know when to expect him and he showed up a few minutes earlier. Checked out the system, found the leak and soldered the leak in the copper line, regassed and cleaned the coils. Price was very reasonable (especially with the Angie's List discount) and in an hour I had cool air again and Bruce could start his weekend! He was so gracious about fitting me in on a Friday afternoon so I didn't have to suffer another night of stifling heat! I'm pleased to have found a local vendor and even more pleased to be sitting in a cool living room again!

I live in NY and have a place in Florida. Our air conditioner went on a Sunday, called Kelly's on a Sunday, they called right back and came for an estimate on Monday. We hired Kelly's to come 2 weeks later, when we would be back in Florida. We did all paperwork through email . Kelly's took care of everything. Showed up on the agreed day and time. We were very pleased with there work and there price was very fair!

I called in the morning because our air conditioner quit working and Bruce called within a couple of hours indicating he could be at the house in 20 minutes...WOW! He was very accommodating as I work from home and he came at the same time my conference call was starting. He looked at the central air until, came into the office to let me know what they were going to do and completed the work very quickly. He came into the office with the invoice and waited for me to write the check and let himself out. The price was extremely fair. I will call Kelly's the next time I need A/C service done!

Great. Called to schedule an appointment and he was in the area on another job so squeezed me into his schedule. I had recommended him to a couple other friends who decided to use him and were happy as well, however being the procrastinator that I am I waited until I needed him to call for myself.

Called at about 7:45 am. Bruce called back at 8:00am and was at my home by 8:40. He was very careful of the laminate floor in my kitchen. He found and repaired the problem promptly. I have also used him in the past for air conditioning repairs. He is an excellent technician and is always fair.

We tried to get through another season of hot weather, but didn't make it. Our old A/C system finally stopped working. I called 3 highly rated A/C companies from Angie's List to get quotes. One of those companies wouldn't come to my home to give me an estimate unless I was an existing customer of theirs. They (honestly) told me that they didn't have the time to install a new unit anytime soon. So it came down to 2 quotes (both pretty good). One quote was for a 4-ton 16 SEER, 2 speed unit for $5250.00 (with rebates, etc.) and Bruce Kelly's (Kelly A/C & Appliance Service) quote for the 4-ton 18 SEER, 2 speed unit for $4985.00 ($7360 - $1200 cash back - $1175 FPL rebate)! How could I pass on this? Bruce Kelly is a true professional who gives sound and honest advice. I called him on a Monday and he came out to provide an estimate on Tuesday. He patiently explained the pros and cons of the single speed units and the 2 speed units and provided two quotes (one for each). I went with the 18 SEER unit and wanted it installed as soon as possible because my current A/C unit kept freezing up and shutting down. Bruce was back at my home that Friday and installed unit. By the time I got home from work, the new A/C unit was in place (no mess, nothing left behind). While one company was too busy to provide a quote, Bruce went out of his way to provide one and have a new A/C unit installed in the same week. He also called after the installation to make sure everything was working alright. This was money well spent and I can already see it in my electric bill.

They did a great job. This was a somewhat complicated installation of a new dryer hookup in a closet in a second floor condo. They had to create a venting system across an attic space and then outside. They were very professional., arrived on-time and gave estimate that involved price range. When I approved the estimate they did the work shortly thereafter and actually provided service at the low end of the estimate.
