What I liked most about Kelly's is that they did what they said they would do. They showed up when they said they would and kept me informed throughout the process. Bruce and his helper were courteous and respectful of me and my home. I'm the type to ask a lot of questions when a job is being dome at my home. I did not detect any resentment or frustration from Bruce or his helper that I was asking too many questions or that I was bothering them. To the contrary, they seemed more than happy to explain things to me. I was so pleased with the level of service I received from Kelly's that when the central air conditioning stopped working at my mother's condominium a couple of weeks later, I immediately knew who to call and did so. Once again, I was pleased with their responsiveness and quality of work. I definitely recommend Kelly's A/C and Appliance Service!

Bruce replied immediately to my Angie's List appointment request. He promptly showed up the next morning and would have been able to fix the problem same day if I would have correctly explained the problem. Informed me the part needed was under warranty and he would be back next day to repair. He showed up the next morning, part in hand and repaired in about 10 minutes. Very nice, prompt and professional. I appreciated that he was honest about the part being under warranty when I had no idea. Would recommend and will contact him in the future with any AC issues.

I realized my condenser was not working around 1pm today and called Bruce Kelly right away. Since it was Friday afternoon I was afraid I would be without air conditioning until tomorrow at the earliest. But Bruce called me back quickly and was not far away finishing another job. By 2:40P this afternoon he had arrived and replaced the motor which was under warranty. My house is already starting to feel comfortable. I was very lucky when I found Kelly AC on Angie's List last December. Bruce is exceptional in the quality of his work and his customer service. Just hire him when you need AC help. He is worth it!

Bruce Kelly is the consummate professional - punctual, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. He explained all the options available to us and recommended how we should proceed. He explained in detail all the work and his prices are very reasonable. He even followed up the following day and left a message to see if we were happy with his work and if everything was okay - outstanding! Highly recommended! Will use him again in the future!

Excellent. I bought the house about a year and a half ago, and found out that he vent that existed for the clothing dryer didn't go all the the roof, but rather was blowing the hot air into the attic (who knows how that happened). Called Kelly AC to remove the old vent and create a new one going from the laundry room through the side of the house (now i can clean it myself if need be). Very friendly service, quick scheduling of the job, and excellent job done. Highly recommended.

It went great. Another company had looked at it, charged hundreds of dollars and wanted to spend thousands, gave my wife a bad feeling, and the leak reappeared almost immediately. Kelly found the clogged fitting in minutes and it hasn't reappeared since. Great guy. Will use Kelly and happy to recommend.

Everything went fine. The guy was very nice. I think my problem was much bigger than what they could handle.

Kelly AC installed a new AC System for us in the Spring - we were very happy with the unit he recommended and the installation services provided at the time but I was slow in getting a review posted. We recently had a minor issue with the new thermostat and he was here promptly to diagnose the problem, ordered the necessary part and was here again quickly to effect the repair. We have nothing but good things to say about Kelly AC

Wonderful !!!! Needed some odd-ball filters which were provided. The work was perfect and to my fussy standards.

The pvc line was cut and reassembled the correct way.

I was having a problem with water leaking from my AC unit. I hired someone from Cra-gs Li-st to fix the unit for $250.00, 3 hours after paying them the same problem started again and they would not come back out to fix it. Lesson learned...No More CL Contractors. I found Bruce on Angie's list and gave him a call. Bruce came out and gave me a quote for a new unit, but he still wanted to try to repair the unit before replacing it. Bruce spent time trying to save the old unit but overall we had to replace the unit. Bruce still honored the quote for the new unit and did not charge me for the attempted repair work. I am very happy, I will use Bruce from now on and I would recommend him to family and friends.

Bruce's return message stated that the problem was most likely a clogged drain, and that if I called him, he would try to walk me through clearing the clog myself. I was able to get in touch with him on Saturday, and he told me exactly what to do to see if I could solve the leak myself, and assured me that if it did not work he would come out on Monday. I followed his suggestions, which were spot on, and fixed the problem myself. I certainly appreciate his time and willingness to walk me through this, and saving me money on a service call. I feel like most businesses would send someone out just to collect some money, and so I am very grateful for Bruce's help. I will definitely give him a call next time I have a problem.

I had an A/C which was causing a short in the home and was not working. Upon reviewing Angie's List, I decided to call Bruce upon seeing a large number of positive reviews. I am glad I did. Bruce was very responsive from the 1st minute of contact. He was able to go to the property the next morning to evaluate the problem - in spite of me calling late in the afternoon. He showed up as promised and upon evaluation, informed me that the unit would need to be replaced and did add that if I wanted to do so, I could replace only the outside unit, leaving the inside air handler intact. However, I would most likely have to replace the air handler in a couple of years or so. That same afternoon, Bruce called back to provide the quotes and I decided to get the job done and replace both, the outside unit and inside air handler. Bruce was able to do the installation the day after and his team did an excellent job. Very professional, clean, and prompt. Pricing was agreed without any games or extras. Clean transaction and very straight forward. Subsequent to the completion of the entire job, Bruce followed sending me the warranty registration information. Bruce has promised to mail me the book and written materials accompanying the new A/C and I expect him to come through on this fully. I would not hesitate to use Bruce Kelly again or to recommend him to my family and friends. Thanks for a fine job, Bruce!

Everything was perfect. I discovered that my central unit was not cooling on a Saturday afternoon. I noticed that the coil by the air intake was frozen up. I called Kelly AC based on the good reviews. I was given a possible cause for the freeze up and what would probably need to be done. He gave me a estimate on the phone that sounded fair. I made an appointment for Thursday. The day before, I called to get an arrival time and was told 10:00.am. He showed up on time as promised and was correct about the cause of the freeze up. The cost ended up being a little less then the estimate plus I got the Angie's List discount. I'm Happy with the outcome. I would recommend and use their service in the future.

We received prompt service by Bruce and his associate when outside condenser stopped working. They determined a fan motor was bad, had a replacement on the truck and had us running at same visit. Appreciated the information and professionalism.

I live in Chicago and go to my condo in Florida every few months. The condo needed better filtration due to my severe asthma. It is very hard getting things done remotely but Mr.Kelly was very good about coming and doing the work and working with me remotely. it wasn't easy! He had some good suggestions that I hadn't thought about as well. I found him to be responsive, professional, and very competent at what he does, despite his amazingly busy schedule.

Called to see about getting a diagnosis about why AC unit was not holding temperature in the house. I was told that it would be $55.00 for the diagnosis and $80.00 an hour for labor for any repair that was needed.. After I called because he had not shown up for the first appointment we rescheduled for the following day which meant I had to take more time off work.. Bruce showed up and spent about 10 minutes looking at the system and informed us that the unit was just old and it was "doing the best it can". He then said it would be $80.00 and I asked about it being $55.00 for the diagnostic. He told me that he still charges for labor and that he would only charge $25.00. In essence he charged me $55.00 just to drive to the house and $25.00 to spend ten minutes looking at the unit. There was no repair or servicing done to the unit.

Messaged Bruce on Angies List on sunday and got a phone phone call in a few hours. Scheduled work for monday and he showed up on time. The AC unit was leaking water because of a clogged drain. He fixed it. Also, asked him to installed a new thermostat (which i had already purchased from home depot) which he did. Total time spent was about 45 to 55 minutes. No hassle.

Kelly's os the BEST - my mom's AC went out on sunday of labor day weekend . Mr. Kelly show up only 3 hours after i called him ( on a sunday!!!) and worked for 2 hours - then returned to finish the job on MONDAY of labor day weekend!!!! The problem : The last person who worked on the AC installed a motor that was wired incorrectly and the AC was in a block of ice !!!

We were very pleased with the work performed by Bruce Kelly and will be sure to use him again when needed..

Bruce was very professional from the get go. I told him about a leak that was diagnosed by another service-person and Bruce's estimate was better so decided to go with him. He took the model and serial information over the phone and got the part. He came out a day early because he had a cancellation. Work was done quickly and professionally. He applied an Angieslist discount. AC is working great.
