Shortly after my call to Kelley A/C, Tommy arrived at my house eager to help me find the reason why my A/C was not working. Tommy was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. After Tommy fixed the problem, Tommy assisted me to make sure all expenses would be covered by my A/C plan.

However when I was getting estimates on vent work on the AC system by other AC providers 1 week after the Kelly's service and also noticing already the AC was still not getting cool as it should anywhere in the house, not just in my MBR which was the reason for the vent work estimate, I learned from this other provider that the wire installed by Kelly AC was not the appropriate wire and already burned out leading to the lack of cooling AND that what I was told on the Kelly AC service regarding having adequate coolant was not correct that in fact I was very low. I also confirmed I did not have a leak of coolant. I contacted Bruce at Kelly's after the other service since again I didn't know I had an issue other than I felt the AC was not cooling as well as it should. Bruce did offer to come out for free and to stand by his work but unfortunately at that time I already paid to have the repair and frankly was not comfortable with the work performed in the first place. I asked Bruce for some $ amount to be refunded and he refused stating that I did not give him a chance to stand by his work. So what I can say is I cannot use this service again and judge for yourself what I am saying on the quality. I can say that Bruce was prompt, nice/polite and did respond to my complaints though we do not agree on the resolution, hence my overall C rating.

Bruce came out to do a cleaning of the coils inside the indoor air handler. I was told by a tech from another company during an inspection that the coils were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. Kelly AC had the most reasonable price among the higher rated companies so I scheduled the service. When He looked at the coils he told me that they looked brand new and no cleaning was needed. He also inspected the blower wheel and told me that was clean as well. It seems the other company was trying to sell me a service I didn't need. I've since had a duct cleaning company out who confirmed that the coils are exceptionally clean. Bruce didn't charge me anything for the visit and I appreciated his honesty and professionalism. I would definitlely hire Kelly AC for my next service need.

Bruce from Kelly AC & Appliance Service responded within minutes to my message I sent through Angie's List, and the following morning I spoke with him on the phone first thing, describing the problem with my air conditioning. It was cooling, but suddenly dripping in the A/C closet, and cleaning the coils myself only made it worse (probably because more slimy stuff clogged the drain line.) He came out that day and fixed the problem in no time at all, flushing the drain line, and installing an access box on the line where I can now maintain and clean the line myself. He also installed a Honeywell digital thermostat that I had bought and needed to install anyway. The price was right too after the Angie's List 20% first time customer discount. I will definitely keep Kelly AC and Appliance Service's phone number handy should I even need quick repair service in the future. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Bruce Kelly responded late on a Saturday night to my initial inquiry via Angie's list. He said that he could come to our house on Sunday morning to see what the problem was. He said that there would be a minimal charge of $200 understandably to have service on a Sunday. He called first thing on Sunday morning to confirm his arrival (9 oclockish). He figured out quickly what the problem was and despite not having the part on hand, he did a temporary repair to give us air conditioning and promised to return on Wednesday with the part, which he did. Bruce was communicative, polite, helpful and fair. He worked efficiently and he got the job done for what I consider to be a fair price given that he was here 3 times and one of those times was on a Sunday. He honored his Angie's list coupon which saved us about $50. I believe he also does repairs on things other than AC units. I would use this company in the future for any problems with our AC and will further investigate to see what else he repairs...just in case.

4680 When Bruce arrived on time he began work but failed to discuss prices or what he planned to do. He did not provide any written estimate. After he had completed the modification of the out side drain line so I could flush it in the future and checked the freon level. He disclosed he wanted to clean the coils at a estimated total job price of more than $450. At that point I asked what i owed him for his work so far and he agreed to $80 and left. Bottom line my son is still looking for an AC company he can rely on in the future as he did not find Kelly a company he could trust and do business with. They would need to provide up front written quotes and be willing to explain what they are doing up front.

I called Bruce on a Monday morning hoping he would find the time to visit my home for our A/C problem. It turns out he had a cancellation and fit us right in. I was able to meet him at my house within the next hour. He arrived on time and was able to understand what was going on with our A/C unit. He replaced the capacitor and to my surprise, the A/C started working and the house was cooled down within no time. Bruce was very professional, honest and did an excellent job. We talked about how old the A/C unit is and how it will need to be replaced in the near future. He was not pushy but very open and honest (which I appreciate). He also honored the Angie's List discount. I highly recommend Bruce. If you are looking for a good, honest and trustworthy individual who will fix your A/C unit, call him. Everything went well. Bruce came out to our house and replaced the part that was needed to get our ice maker working again. He showed up on time and got the job done quick. We now have ice!!

I called Bruce when my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. He arrived the next day and did a routine inspection of the air conditioning unit and thermostat. He informed me that the evaporator coils were clogged with dirt which was restricting the air flow and cooling ability of the unit, causing the unit to malfunction. Since this was a package unit, it involved removing the unit from the wall on the outside of the house in order to gain access to the evaporator coils. This was an involved, time consuming labor intensive job, so he promised to return the next day. Unfortunately the weather intervened and the job was delayed a few days, but before he left he insured that the unit was operating and blowing cold air. He kept in phone contact daily, and when he returned he completed the job, which took about two hours. I watched the entire process, and I noted that he was very meticulous and professional in both his work ethic and his attitude. I asked several questions concerning any future considerations with the unit, and he answered me very candidly and offered suggestions based on my specific situation. No hard sell tactics here, just competent, concerned and professional service. Approximately one week after the job was done he called back to insure that the job was done to my satisfaction, and offered to return to insure that I was fully satisfied with the work. As a side note I should mention that my previous service provider had never mentioned cleaning the coils, and I had suffered with constant calls for service and offers to replace the unit for a considerable amount of money. It is quite a pleasure to deal with an honest, dedicated service provider like Bruce, and I will certainly recommend his company and keep them as my go to solution for HVAC service.

We've used Kelly's A/C in the past year several times as our A/C unit is now 15 years old and on it's last leg. Bruce always comes out promptly and today was no different. He replaced the capacitor and gave us a quote for a new unit as 3 repairs in the last 6 months (all different issues) is telling us it's time! He worked quickly, checked everything afterwards and got us cooled off! Highly recommend his services!

The first time the came out he fixed my AC immediately and charged me a very fair price. The second time he came out he took 3 minutes and it was suddenly fixed! (I was prepared to get a new AC unit!) He told me it was no charge. So honest, friendly and generous. You can truly rely on him.

My a/c quit blowing cold air on a Sunday night (of course...) so early Monday morning I called Kelly A/C and emailed. Bruce promptly emailed back and (thankfully) agreed to come out in the afternoon, even on such a busy day. He called around 2p and said he had three people ahead of me so I figured 5p or 6p at the earliest. He called at 3:40p and was there 10 minutes later. Replaced a part that was under warranty and only charged me the service call - no travel time. I was amazed at his honesty. Mr Kelly is always too busy to attend to the customer. And everything has to be done at his convenience, not the customer's. I don't in any way doubt the quality of his workmanship, but his customer service is terrible and I felt very disappointed because this is the second time it happened.

After getting the run-around from several other local A/C businesses, we turned to Angie's list. Unfortunately, we had already fell victim to a shady A/C repairman, who created more issues with our older unit. After doing my homework on my issue and unit, I started calling (interviewing) A/C businesses to fix the problem. After speaking with the owner Bruce and asking several questions, I immediately knew he was being honest with me (unlike so many others). Bruce was able to come to our house later that day and personally performed the service! Kelly A/C fixed the problem and provided us with detailed feedback on what was causing the problem, how to prevent future issues, and what to expect moving forward. Bruce even called me a couple weeks after the service to see how we were doing. Having an honest A/C repairman in South Florida is Priceless. Don't find out the hard way like we did. Bruce came out exactly when he said he would. Contacted me twice in advance to let me know what time he would be there. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He spent about an hour checking everything out, cleaning the unit, tightening loose parts and adding freon. I would definitely use him again.

I called Bruce on 3/16 about our refrigerator that wasn't cooling. He said he could be here either 3/17 or 3/18 which was fine because it wasn't an emergency. I had to call him several hours later because our air handler started pouring water. He advised me on how I may be able to take care of the problem myself and said he'd be here the next day. He fixed the problem the the AC, checked out the fridge and was out the door in no time. He's trust worthy and helpful. The man stays busy because he does a great job and doesn't charge a fortune. He's now my "go to" with any AC or appliance trouble!

Mr. Kelly replaced both compressors on my air conditioning unit. One of the compressors had failed. Mr. Kelly took the initiative and found that the unit was still under partial warranty. He then discovered that a freon leak I had been experiencing for some time was due to bad coils. He quickly tracked down a replacement coil. He was punctual and kept me informed during the entire multiday process. I would absolutely recommend Bruce Kelly to anyone who needs AC service. He is a responsible professional.

I contacted Mr. Kelly the night before and he said he could get out to see me the next day. I was running a few minutes late to our appointment and he waited for me patiently. He looked over both my units, explained what the problem was and promptly fixed it. He made future recommendations for my units and was totally professional. Will definitely use his services again.

I called Mr Kelly in the morning. He answered his phone immediately and after I explained the problem with my a/c he suggested that he could come by after 1pm the same day. We agreed. Shortly before 12 noon he called me to let me know that he would be at my address within the hour. Mr Kelly arrived punctual and diagnosed my a/c system within a few short minutes. This is the second time I've used Kelly and use him again. What impressed me about the second time was how fast he responded. I had messaged him on Angielist sometime around 9pm at night and got a reply almost immediately. Told me that he could probably come in 2 days but managed to come the next morning. I'm the kind that likes my apartment cold so this was really appreciated. The AC was initally blowing hot air but after he reset it, it started working. The only thing that appeared slightly below normal was the capacity that was holding about 75% of what it should have. He also added 1 pound of Freon.

Bruce was on time for the estimate and the installation. No nonsense hard sell or upsell pressure tactics. Just plain and simple language, fair price and honest dealing. Bruce and his guys did a clean installation which passed city inspection on the first shot. My personal inspection was much more thorough, I'm a tradesman and a former county inspector, so I like to think I know good work when I see it. All in all it was a good experience and I will be using him for all my future a/c needs.
